This is my third pair of these shoes. They are the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet! And when they get dirty (I wore them in a muddy river in Thailand with elephants -- talk about disgusting!) you can pop them in the washer & they come out like brand new. Buy these & you will not be sorry!

Purchased this shoe as a an all around hike-surf-kayak wear on a recent trip of a lifetime to the Galapagos. Not only was I impressed with its adaptability, but its comfort. Wore them hiking up volcanoes, through wetlands and surf, all around Zodiacs and into town. They were almost constantly wet but dried quickly, had great traction on slippery surfaces, and didn't shift about when I need to have a good grip scrambling up and over boulders. Only criticism, if you could even call it that, is small rocks/sand will enter through the sides if you're in the surf, but are easily dislodged. This particular model is also less clunky than some of the Other Keen shoes. Recommend highly.

These shoes were a godsend on a recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. First and foremost they were very comfortable, with or without socks. Secondly they had a sturdy sole so that walking on the uneven surfaces of volcanic lava landscapes didn't hurt.

After reading these reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my true size. But I had to return those shoes because they were too long. So I reordered my true size and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable, cushy, lightweight and totally cool (as in, no sweaty feet). I'm very happy with these shoes.

My 7.5/8 narrow foot had a perfect fit with the 8 medium. Particularly, the heel fit securely without any slippage. I wore these Keens in and out of the Caribbean surf and had great traction on slippery boat decks. I appreciated the ventilation which kept my feet cool while walking on hot sidewalks. Great cushy foot support and toe protection for walking on uneven, stony trails. A great active vacation shoe.

Love these shoes. The fit is true to size. They were comfortable from the first wearing; no breaking in needed. Wore them throughout our shore excursions in the South Pacific in water, sand, and terrain.

Love the fit of these shoes! I had to size down a half size, but they are super comfortable and fit perfectly. I am returning them for a different color however. The Coffee Liqueur/KEEN Yellow shoe is more of a dark brown than the lighter, tan color it looks like online.

Purchased for a Caribbean cruise where I needed both a closed toe shoe and one to wear on slippery wet surfaces! This is perfect -- lightweight, yet secure on my foot. I tried two other Keens, this one was the best for my needs. Had I kept either of the others, I would have had to go up a size. Thanks Zappos!

I just got back from 8 days in Costa Rica and wore these shoes most of the time and they were extremely comfortable. I got them right before the trip, so I was a little nervous about not having time to break them in, but they were wonderful. I had no problem wearing them into a river and continuing on another 2.5 miles afterwards.

I loved my pair of Keen Whisper sandal/sneakers that I wore them all summer for the past 3 summers. My mother wanted a pair so I got her a pair too. They are as comfortable and good for exercise as sneakers, but cool and aerated for the hot summer months! With socks I can wear them through 3 seasons (except for our cold New England winter).

I bought these for a family member that had requested them for Christmas. She loves them and asks for more! They must be great!

I love these shoes, which rarely happens. I bought them in anticipation of vacationing in Hawaii and walking on sharp lava rocks in the water, on the beach, as well as general walking on dry land. They were very comfortable from day one. I have narrow feet and a history of plantar fasciitis following a stress fracture of my heel as well as having broken my ankle twice. While these shoes do not have ankle support per se, my feet felt very secure - no sliding inside the shoe. The only negative (other than they aren't particularly attractive) is that when gravel/sand got in my shoes, I had to take them off to dump them out, but that was a minor inconvenience for the comfort/versatility of these shoes. I also bought the male equivalent for my son, husband and son-in-law (sizes 15, 12, and 10) and they loved theirs too. We saw a man wearing Keens at the beach the first day we were wearing ours and asked him how he liked them. His were well worn and he said they were his 4th pair and he loved them.

This is my second or third time of shopping shoes at Zappos. As in the past service is great, prices are great and most importantly, I can find my size.

Classic Keen: These sandals are light, supremely comfortable, survived a week on the beach in Mexico looking as good as they began, and have that geeky style. (Confession: I wore them with wool socks on the airplane to and from Baja!)

This is my second pair of Keen Whisper sandals. So comfortable. The first pair didn't wear out, I just wanted a different color. I only gave 4 stars for style because, let's face it, they are not the cutest shoes ever. Still, really enjoy wearing these shoes!

This size 8 is perfect for my skinny, 7.5-8.0 foot. Due to the cinching fastener, my heels don't slide at all. I normally take a narrow, but this medium fits well. Extremely comfy right out of the box. All set for my upcoming windjammer vacation! We will be off and on the boat, in and out of the water, and walking on paths and beaches. I think these are exactly what's needed for an adventure holiday that promises to be wet.

Most comfortable sandals ever. Nothing on the inside of this shoe to rub or irritate your skin. Great support in the sole.

I love my new Keens and would recommend them anyone who likes this type of shoe. Comfortable, cool and the Company is great. My dog ate one of my shoelaces and I called Keen and asked if I could get another one and they promptly sent me two new laces with the hardware...no charge. Of course Zappos is the best, where else can you get next day delivery for almost everything you order? Great shoe and great service!

Great shoes, I had to order half size down. Color looks better in real life than on the picture. These shoes are soft, comfortable, definitely recommend it.

This is my second pair of these sandals. I walked the soles off the first pair. Great support. No need for orthotics with these.

The most important thing to me when I order from an online business is their integrity. I have found Zappos to be of the highest integrity. I can count on them to deliver exactly what I want in a timely manner. I would recommend Zappos to everyone!

I ordered these for a trip to Hawaii and I'm so glad I did. I did a lot of walking and these were so comfortable. I really like that they are lower profile than some of the other Keens.

I love Keens, and these keep up the good work. They have a wide-ish foot bed which is perfect for me, and the support is great. The cutouts in the design keep my feet cool and comfortable, and slip on easily.

I love these shoes. Very comfortable and durable. Great for hiking or running around the beach or river.

Loved these sandals. So comfy! They seem to look cute with jeans, shorts, capris or travel pants. I think these will be my new go to shoe! I ordered up 1/2 size to an 8, but I think my normal sandal size 7 1/2 would have been fine.
