Not covering my pinky toe at all too narrow. Returning for sure

I'm not sure how these sandals would have fit, because the hole through which you need to put your foot (the top of the sandal) is so small, I could not squeeze in. If you can somehow point your toe and pull your heel all the way in, it would work. It's too bad, as they look like a comfortable sandal. Making the top opening large enough for a normal person's foot would be a great improvement!

The sandals fit perfect, but there was no arch support. I like Keen shoes for the arch support. I was disappointed that these didn’t have any.

Very disappointed with the fit of the KEEN Whisper. While the shoe is labelled as a medium width, I would say that the shoe runs narrow. I could not even get my feet inside the shoes. I usually wear a wide width, but can wear a medium with most sandals, but not this one. I will be returning it.

No one is a bigger Keen fan than I am, including having 2 other pairs of Whisper sandals, but the last two pairs I have ordered have been returned because they just aren't comfortable. They seem to be smaller that the ones I have and love.

Like the slightly less clunky look of the Keen Whisper. I find for me that Keen sandles run about a half size small in length. Good width with a comfy foot bed and the colors are awesome too.

I have been wanting Keen sandals for summer wear for a while. My husband loves his. However, I attributed the foot odor to the fact he never switched off to other footwear. I wore my Keen sandals off and on for several days and noted a terrible foot odor from the enclosed design and rubber material. I will only wear them for several hours at a time and for kayaking or light hiking. Won't buy again due to odor build up. I have never had a problem prior to this with shoes. I guess my husband doesn't mind the odor from his feet but odor means bacteria! They are comfortable, true to size, lots of support but poor air flow.

Shoes were too small and narrow, unlike the other whisper versions I bought; the front end of the shoe/toe bed tilts just slightly up and that's probably what makes these shoes too small. If you wear an 8, order a 9.

These shoes tore by the heel. I contacted Zappos and they told me after 6 months it is considered normal wear and tear and they would not be able to do anything. Very sad as I loved these sandals. I only wore them a little over 6 months, since I don’t wear them in the winter.

The sizing is correct. These are a true disappointment compared to previous Keen sandals. They do not "whisper" they chap your feet. They do not have the nice soft leather foot pad that previous sandals have had. They have hard rubber, bumpy foot beds that are abrasive to your feet. I have really tried to get them worn in, but my feet still feel "chapped" after 4 months. I wish I could return them, but I have been so optimistic about "wearing them in", that they are now too abused to return.

I’ve worn size 6 in Keen sandals for 10 years and this is the first time that I’ve had an issue. This sandal is so small - very narrow, very short.

I purchased these in size 9.5 and the light lavender/pink color. I’m usually somewhere between 9 and 9.5 and the 9.5 was a good fit in this shoe. However, as I pulled them on I noticed the neoprene material had multiple holes on both shoes in the area where the neoprene is stitched to the sandal. I have a pair of 12+ year old Keen Newport sandals that have held up so well, but these were a disappointment. I strongly suggest that if you purchase these , inspect the inside of the sandal where they are stitched to be sure you don’t get a defective pair as well.

Very disappointed. Fit and comfort were fine, but I only wore them a very few times and the heel straps are shredding out! I expected to be able to wear these for years, not days.

I bought these for wearing at a rocky beach on my upcoming vacation. The fit was great and they looked cute, good arch support which was my main reason for choosing them. They were comfortable when dry but.... To test them out, I put them on in my garage and wet my feet every few minutes as I did some clean up work. Within 20 minutes I had blisters developing at several places where the webbed straps hit the edges of my feet. SO glad I tested them rather than getting blisters during my vacation! They are going back tomorrow....

These sandals are not for people with weak ankles. I bought them specifically for a trip to Europe. I like their look and style very much and they are comfortable. However, I didn't walk very much before my trip. Once I was in Europe, I was walking much more than I had been at home. I worked up quite a sweat at one point in my trip and accidentally stepped onto uneven ground and broke my ankle. It was horrible; I didn't think it had to do with the shoe until I was wearing them again recently. Again, I had been walking 3 miles and was working up a sweat. I stepped on uneven pavement and twisted my ankle badly. I was so afraid I'd broken my other ankle, but it turned out to just be a sprain. I am not wearing these sandals anymore. For me, with my weak ankles, they are nothing but trouble.

I have finally learned to my GREAT disappointment, and after ordering and returning shoes several times in the past two weeks (sorry, Zappo's! but grateful for your free shipping!) that Keen has effectively discontinued its standard size 11 -- ALL of its shoes are now actually a half-size smaller than the standard, so an 11 is actually a 10.5. Since I wear an 11, and their size 11 used to fit me beautifully, there is nowhere to go…the only alternative is men's sizes, which do not have the pretty colors or feminine styling touches of the women's line if I want to wear a Keen, which I'm no longer certain I do. VERY DISAPPOINTING. And their customer service is very young, full of a scripted response, attitude and excuses, and almost snide remarks. Used to love this brand. Not so sure anymore. So much for Portland and Palo Alto ...

I bought these sandals to walk along the beach, on light trails, and around town. They replaced a pair of five year old Tevas that had fallen apart - the sole separated from the sandal. I bought Keens due to the great reviews. These are nice looking sandals and they are very comfortable for walking around town. The elastic lace system works very well for getting a snug and comfortable fit so long as you are walking on pavement and the sandals are dry. They are useless in water, sand, or anyplace you are likely to get grit into the sandal. The shape of the closed toe catches sand, pebbles, and dirt and sand in particular tends to somehow float to the top of the toe box and scrape - literally sand - the tops of your toes. I experimented with lacing them tightly and lacing very loosely and it made little or no difference. Walk any distance on a soft surface and the toe box will fill with grit in within ten feet. These sandals are waterproof in the sense that water doesn't ruin them. They are not waterproof in the sense of walking in them while they are wet. When wet the foam interior of the sandal becomes very abrasive if it rubs anywhere at all. It's pretty hard to adjust them so that the top of your toes don't rub the toe box as you walk and the sandal is on snugly. I am very sorry I bought these. They were really great walking around my living room testing them out, and they make a snazzy pair of sandals for people who want to look outdoorsy while strolling around town, but as waterproof sandals they are awful.

Do not buy these shoes. They do not fit correctly and will ruin your feet. If I could give these negative stars, I would. Cheaply made and uncomfortable.

This style is a full 1/2 inch narrower than my other keen's! I don't know if they changed where they manufacture the shoes, but its definitely too narrow to be a regular, width which I am. I love Keens and need to replace a pair I have worn the sole down on, so I hope I have better luck with a different style.

I absolutely hate these shoes. I was delighted when I received them, they are cute for what they are and they fit like a glove on the first try on. I wore them on two different days and after one hour of wearing both times, my heel kept sliding to the back of the sole and felt like it was suddenly too small in the back but I had all of this room in the two area. I tried tightening them but this didn't help- in fact I tightened them so much that my foot swelled. I'm highly disappointed and even more disappointed that I've worn them twice so I cannot return them.
