There are a great shoe, but the foot bed on my pair is hard. My sis-in-law bought a pair at a store in town, and her foot bed was soft and comfortable. Maybe the newer shoes have a better foot bed.

I've worn these sandals for years, updating as each pair wore out. They've been my summer go to. This year something has changed in the fit. I've ordered the Whisper sandal three times, thinking it was just that particular sandal, but have had the same issue of serious rubbing under one of my ankle bones each time, but on different sides. I've had to return all three pairs. Perhaps my feet are morphing. Really sad about this and am now looking for alternatives.

Length was fine but very narrow and constricting for my high arches.

Haven't purchased Keen's for a while, so tried Whisper. Fit is weird. I did think the yoke came up a bit high. I am average/narrow feet and the shoes felt tight, and I bought a full size up because I like my shoes loose, esp. this type which is easy to keep on. Anyway, felt like too much material covering the foot. Doesn't feel relaxed and something I would want to wear all day. I'm sure it would loosen, but did not want to take a chance. Little to no arch support. I did not like the color, I was hoping for a more natural brown, it's kind of dark.

The reviews on this are mixed, but definitely put me down among those here who were surprised to discover how slippery these are on smooth surfaces (tile floors, wet concrete, mossy rocks etc). Your mileage may vary, but I can skate across my dry kitchen floor in these & that's... not a good thing. As long as I stay clear of certain hazardous conditions, they're fine, but they were a replacement for a similar shoe that did not have the issue with slippy surfaces & was made by another brand which no longer makes them, unfortunately. So I'll have to keep looking.

Length is OK but this style of Keen is too narrow felt scratchy. i also ordered the Venice H2 which fit much better.

I love my Keen flip flops but these rubbed in all the wrong places: side of the foot, top of the foot under the elastic. Even the top of my big toe hit the rubber on the front of the shoe. The search continues...

Bring back the original Keen footbed. This new model is stiff and doesn't provide a cushioning like the previous models several years ago. Style is nice and sleek and soles seem rugged enough for hiking but must return unfortunately.

I wanted very badly to like these shoes. They fit well and felt good on my feet with the exception of the medial arch. In fact, the lateral foot felt very well supported. Since my primary use for the shoes is hiking wooded, rocky trails, medial arch support is important and my foot didn't even come in contact with the medial arch of the shoe.

These fit my feet like a glove -- I love everything about them . . . except that after about 10 days of wearing them, fairly gently (short walks, going to the park with the kids, etc), the stitching on the inner heel has come apart and there is actually a hole! You can't really see it from the outside because the contrast webbing covers it. This happened on both shoes and both sides of each heel strap :( I like them so much and don't want to return them. Hopefully it is just a fluke in manufacturing and a replacement pair will be the rock solid Keen quality that people know and love!

I bought this sandal in black for general hiking. My mistake. While the sandal is very cute and sporty-looking (I think so anyways), it's just plain terrible for hiking. While they feel comfortable and light on my feet, they offer virtually no arch support. After an hour of moderate hiking, my feet and calves feel achey and painful. That said, these shoes are great for wading in streams,, canoeing, and some light bouldering. They're pretty useless as hiking sandal, or even walking for extended periods around town.

This shoe was difficult to get on and other reviews commented on the wide toe box, but this pair did not meet that criteria for me. It would be so nice if shoe companies would make wides. Zappos can you share data with shoe companies on how many wides or ww are ordered? If so, that would be great!!

Too bulky and frumpy for me. I much preferred the Keen Rose and Keen Bali Strap if you're looking for something a bit more feminine and streamlined. Bali Strap seems better for water sports and the Rose for trails.

Too bad I didn't read the Reviews to see I needed to order a 1/2size larger!. If this is consistent, why not just put it in the Description? I had to order a larger size. Shoes are quite comfy, I'm pleased with the toe protection and style...they do, however, look like little kids shoes. They are rather hard to put on. Although there are lots of straps none are adjustable; the neoprene fabric portion is stretchy, there is no give at the top where you try to get your foot in.

I was looking forward to this hiking sandal but it was a poor fit because I have a very high instep. There is little to no adjustment possible in the straps across the top of the foot--even though the elastic cord laced down the top suggests that there would be. Very difficult to get the shoe on.

I didn't get to wear them because I had to send them back but I am writing this review because it might help someone else decide about these shoes. If you need a wide, these won't work. I am a pretty solid 10, and usually a regular width is fine (although I will sometimes get wide if available.) NO WAY these would fit me. Going to a 10.5 probably wouldn't work for me either, I already had more then enough extra length in the toes. But I couldn't get my feet far enough into the sandal to keep the edge of my heel off of the back end of the foot bed. I'm giving them three stars because I think they are too narrow to be called "regular." I think these should be marked "narrow." And it's too bad because they look great!! I just wouldn't buy them if I really needed a wide shoe.

These are very attractive shoes and I was very disappointed that they are not as supportive or comfortable as the Keen Neport H2 which I love and have two pairs of them. I walked through the house with the Whisper, but in comparison it is missing some cushioning, enough so that I could feel the hardwood floor underneath. So I put on my Newport H2s and for sure they are move comfortable and seem to "meet my feet" in the shoe and I just did not get that feeling in the Whisper. Too bad because the material is nice and a little "dressy" for Keens and give an 'upgrade' feeling. But I sent them back. For all day and walking around on hard surfaces I just didn't want to stay in them that long. The arch support is not the same as the Newport H2, at all.

I wore them on a dry street for a 5k and they felt pretty good. They seem over engineered to me, like there is no reason for all the cords. I prefer Jambu, but maybe these Keens will last longer than Jambus - they do seem well made. These shoes are listed as waterproof, but they have such poor traction that I would not wear them in the rain or on a wet trail or rocks. I slipped and fell on a hilly sidewalk that was barely wet.

Keen needs to offer wide width. When you travel via air to vacation destinations, the feet swell, add putting on socks, which makes a medium width painful. If the sandal was a wide width I would give it a 5, but I have to return the sandals.

I purchased these over a year ago with the idea they would be good work sandals (I walk a lot) and a great weekend sandal (Kayaking and SUP board). The only good thing I can say is the footbed is nice. Otherwise, they cause pain every time I wear them without socks. The side slot is cut so that when I walk a short distance it moves enough to expose my pinky toe. I had hoped that they would break in: but they never did. The toe guard also cuts into my toe after more than an hour of wear. I really liked the look and hoped it would get better but it has not. I wish I had returned them within the 365 days but now I am stuck with an expensive pair of waterproof sandals that I have to wear socks with. That makes me sad.

These have a good fit for my slightly narrow feet, but not much arch support. I don't think they would be comfortable enough to justify the price.

Footbed uncomfortable to me. I can feel the lines and grooves on the ball of my foot. Yuck. Hate them. My pinky toe tries to poke out the side. Stupid, not even stretched out or broke in yet. I had to order a size up. Still uncomfortable Don't buy these! Had them for 5 months wore them 3 times. Waste of money. My husband bought his own Keens and I have to say they stink the odor is horrible and they claim to have microban whatever. Have to wash them in the washer weekly.

The jade green is really great looking. But given my chronic back pain, the shoe didn't offer enough support—side to side or arch support.

I bought the Keen Whisper as a great summer shoe for my overseas travels. They have come in handy. I like, not love them. Pros: lots of open space, the tie system works well, the bungy makes it stretchy where needed. Con: I don't love the rubbery bottom though it is cushioned it tends to make my feet warm. I could use more arch support but for most people it would probably be ok. For me, my feet start to hurt after about 45 minutes walking around, but I probably need orthodics, so I wouldn't use this as a basis for anyone who doesn't need additional arch support. They also look a bit clunky on my feet, especially the front.
