I have just rec'd my Keen Whispers and I think I may have found the perfect shoe for upcoming vacation. My husband will think they are ugly but he will be happy when I don't complain about my aching feet. The footbed is quite spongy at first touch so I anticipate they will be comfortable and I think the look is quite snazzy. (My only concern is when I opened the box the sandals had a strong odor of which I assume will fade) I have the Keen Calistoga sandal in size 9, which fit perfectly, but in the Whisper I needed to go to 9.5. (Thank you Zappos for fast wonderful customer service by the way!)

Love them. Great in the water and out. The only con is that my little toe slips out between the straps sometimes.

I was really looking forward to some sandals do woekinf in the yard. These looked like they would protect my feet from obstacles and uneven terrain. However, found these shoes very difficult to get into. I had to use both hands to wrangle my foot into the small opening. I also wish it had more cushion.

I loved these water sandals right out of the box- the fit seemed great initially; however, after wearing them for only 10 minutes in my house, the ankle strap was digging in beneath the outside ankle bone- on both sides. I had red marks on both of my outer ankles in that short amount of time. No amount of adjusting the tightness would help. They would be even worse wet and I can’t imagine them on a hike. So sad, because they’re really cute. I’m retuning.

Part of the reason I ordered these was that Keens have a reputation for being wide. These were so narrow that I couldn’t even get my foot in. I thought about reordering in a larger size, but when I held the shoe up against my foot, it was already longer than my foot. Don’t order if your feet run wide.

My old KEEN Whisper's are a perfect fit but worn out. These new ones are not the same generous width as the old ones and basically a disappointment. Very pleased with Zappos service but very sad KEEN has chosen a new manufacturer. I tried one half size longer but that did not correct the issue.

Ordered the Keen Whisper and the Keen rose sandal, but returning these. Nice sandal in the usual Keen style, but were little hard to put on and off as there is no velcro strap or bungee-cord for adjustment. I liked the more versatile style of the Rose sandal. which also had a velcro strap to adjust.

Ive worn this style and size for years. It could very well be my feet have changed. But these felt little smaller than my other ones and the arch felt off. I love the color. and still love my other KEENS. But these Ill have to return unfortunately

Keen sandals used to be the most comfortable shoes I ever put on my feet, but they must have changed the formula for the sole because they make my feet weary almost immediately. Returning these in great disappointment.

Pretty but zero support for high arches. If you have high arches and narrow feet stick with the Newport H2.

My usual size in shoes is 7.5. Zappos indicated I should order 6.5 but I checked some old Keen sandals that fit perfectly and they were a 7 so that's what I got. The 7s fit well without my toe touching the end. There's good room in the toe box as well. The shoes are a little difficult to get on, but easy off. Unfortunately the sole is almost flat and pretty hard, unlike other Keens I've had. There's very little arch support. I'm sad that I won't be able to use these for summer walking shoes for those reasons. I might have to retire them to my kayak bag as very expensive water shoes...boo...

I’ve had a pair of Keen candles for about 10 years that I loved. They finally started to fall apart and I was in the search for a replacement pair. I was really excited about these shoes, but I ended up disappointed. The hole for your foot to go through is so narrow that it takes a lot of effort to get your full foot down in side. If your foot is the tiniest bit wet or sweaty, it’s nearly impossible to get your foot down far enough to be able to pull the back over your heel. I’m sending them back and trying a different style.

The fit was fine, but there isn't any arch support in the shoe. While it would be fine for some, I need something with more support. Shoe was cute, and I was disappointed that it won't work for me.

Regardless of how I tightened the straps, they cut into the bottom of my outer ankle on both feet and were very uncomfortable. I couldn't imaging wearing them for any length of time. The sandal length was fine. They were a bit wide but easily adjustable.

These are such cute sandals, but since I must use my orthotics for best comfort, I must wear low-cut light socks with them. The type of bungee-cord lacing makes them extremely difficult to put on. I can't just slde my feet in. I wish they had worked for me.

the sandals rubbed on my insoles and my little toe. Felt as if I would develop blisters if I wore them too long. Also were very difficult to get on. I have had this same sandal in the past and was very happy with them and wore them out. I was hoping these would work out, but it seems as though something has changed with the design of the shoe.

I have been wanting these sandals for two yrs. Finally ordered them with 10% off as they are expensive. Disappointed. Very uncomfortable. The top strap was too high and rubbed my ankle bone. The toe is a hard rubber 'blob'
that was unforgiving. My big toe rubbed against it on the inside, although the 8 is my normal size. (I ordered 7.5 also.)
Unfortunately had to return both pair.
The best feature is the color...a very pretty soft blue.

I had at home another pair of these, same model, so I felt sure about the size. When it came, it was too tight to slip into without a struggle, so I returned the shoes for a half size larger replacement. They were long enough, but I still struggled to ge my foot in. I realized the problem was that the opening across the top of the arch was just too small and tight. So, I had to return the 2nd pair as well. Maybe OK for someone with "flat feet" or flat arch. Otherwise, it is a very good looking shoe. Too bad it isn't made the way it used to be made.
