Oops, these run large, best to order 1/2 size down. They seem a little less comfy than the ones I've purchased in the past, though a not so good fit may be the difference this time.

I was looking for another pair of MJs for the summer, and have always had good luck with Merrells. The Breeze line is mainly mesh, and therefore very lightweight. I knew that when I ordered them, so I was not surprised that they are so lightweight (which is good) and also a bit lightweight when it comes to support. Again, I was not surprised, but others should be aware that this shoe is not the same as the full-of-support models Merrell is known for. That being said, these are good shoes for the price. They do scratch a bit at the back of the heel, but that will sort itself out. They also are a bit squared-off at the toe, which makes my size 11s look a bit enormous. But, all in all, a good, solid shoe that does exactly what it says it does.

I think these will be very comfortable...but they run real big so returning for a smaller size than normal.

I got these shoes to replace last summer's walking shoes, which while very comfortable and supportive were not breathable. We do a lot of walking in the summer and I need a shoe that is supportive, well ventilated, and if not actually "cute", at least unobtrusive enough that I can wear it with shorts, skirts, or casual dresses. This one fits the bill. I did have to order down 1/2 size. Just spent 3 days walking all over Baltimore (3-5 miles/day) in 90*F heat, and I'm very happy with how these shoes performed. I liked being able to adjust the strap so the shoes were never constricting even as the day wore on and my feet swelled a bit. My only caution about these shoes is that while they are supportive, they are not "cushy" - if you need a lot of padding, especially under the ball of the foot, these may not work for you.

These run very large for Merrells. I have several pair of Merrell shoes, all in my actual size, 6½. These were huge, I think I would have to go down to a 5½ for these to fit, so I sent my pair back and found another brand in the meantime.

These are cute, true to size, and I love the mesh for summer. They're comfortable too, but although the arch support is fine, I don't think there's quite enough shock absorbtion for serious walking; so I'm sadly returning them. They should be good for someone with younger knees.

I wear a 7M and this shoe was too big even with socks! Others may find it comfy. I'm not trying to find the size that fits in this shoe since I ordered 7 pairs in different brands and two of them were great. Don't know how to star this one, since it didn't fit.

I ordered the Autumn Glaze color and was surprised to see that the mesh is kind of bubble gum pink with a light reddish-orange accent on the toe box and strap. Weird color combination and not what I was expecting. They were comfortable, though.

I love the look with slacks or khaki capris. Overall I am not thrilled though. They run very wide, even after adding my orthotics, I had lots of extra room. Even enough for a pair of winter socks! That was not good, as I had planned on wearing hose or no socks with these shoes! The strap stretched out and now they feel even wider! My heel also slips and causes blisters if I wear them for more than several hours.

I ordered this shoe for my sister who was looking for a wide pair of sandals and the reviews that said this was a wide shoe were very helpful to decide on the right style. The length is true to size but the width is definitely a wide fit, and my sister is quite happy wearing them. Merrell should have listed these as "wide" because if I had ordered them for myself, and I wear medium fits, I would have to return them.

This is a really cute shoe and a great style with the mesh. It looks good with jeans, shorts and casual skirts and its very comfortable. Unfortunately, it does not run wide like Merrells typically do, so it didn't work for me unless I took out the wonderful, comfy padded insole -- which removed all arch support. I don't require a Wide shoe, just usually wear brands that tend to run wide vs. narrow, like Merrell, Simple, Dansko, Keen. Since this runs normal-to-narrow, I wish it came in a wide because it's really perfect in every other way. Go for it if you have a normal-to-narrow foot and you'll love it! The width was the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze! Six months ago I had major foot surgery - bunion and hammertoe. My foot is still slightly swollen and I'm still undergoing physical therapy. I was having a problem finding a comfortable shoe. On my surgeon's advice, I looked at Merrells and tried several styles. Walking around the house, on carpet, I thought this was very comfortable. I decided to wear this shoe on my recent vacation because it would be easy to slip off at the airport. Walking on cement and concrete was not pleasant. I'm hoping that as my swelling goes away, this shoe will become more comfortable, because it is cute. I'm going to try using orthotics and gel pads to see if this helps. I was so tired of wearing shoes that looked orthopedic. I tried similar Merrell styles (Mary Jane) that might have been more supportive, but I didn't like the style. I used to wear a size 10, but found that after surgery, a 9.5 fit well. I wish it were possible to make the strap fit more snugly, but it is too long for this.

Ordered this shoe for a summer overseas trip. I ordered my usual size and a pair a half size smaller. Ended up keeping my usual size. This is a nice lightweight shoe, the mesh makes it really cool. Not as immediately comfy and cushy like the Merrell Chameleon Arc mary janes I ordered at the same time.The heel on the right rubs a little, and my oddly shaped little toe on the same foot rubs a little, too. I decided to keep them though. I think they will break in just fine.

Pleased with purchase - Good fit, so far nothing rubbing my foot. Would wear with tennis socks because your feet can sweat in them. Haven't worn them enough to see how much walking you can do in them without getting foot fatigue, but so far so good. And they're cute, too.

Cut a little bigger than last year. I love these shoes and had them last year. They are cool (as in style and feel) and cute and very comfortable. Unfortunately, it seems as if this year’s version is cut about a half size bigger than last year. As a result, I have to return them for a 1/2 smaller, but with Zappos' extraordinary service, that's super simple and doesn't cost me anything in shipping. How do they do that?!

Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze - These shoes fit well and seemed to be true to size. I haven't worn them enough to really get a true feel for the arch support, but it seems a little too flat for me. I will try putting in a different sole support and see how that works. They definitely have the cute factor.

Love the shoe for comfort- true to size- I have narrow feet and these seem to fit perfect- very comfortable. Lateral movement in them is not that great- I bought them for indoor dog agility and did not get much support laterally- for just wearing with jeans or normal walking they are very nice.

Comfy and Cute - These are great shoes for comfort and cute for casual wear. Not as much support as some other shoes but definitely cute- especially in the rose/pink color!

Great concept but stitching rubs skin all around top of shoe. Back of shoe too high and bumps into achilles tendon. Under insert is solid rubber = hot! Merrell, make a truly comfy airy shoe like this, improve on this. Also make it more supportive, like good running shoes and like most of your other shoes, then it will be perfect.

This was a great shoe and it seemed very comfortable but the back came up too high on my heel as other reviews have said. I may have been able to get used to it, but I also didn't feel that the style was what I was looking for.

Love Merrill shoes, I'm usually either a 10.5 or 11. The 11 was huge and I didn't want to risk it with 1/2 size smaller.

What a great turn around time, ordered these shoes yesterday and got them today! I ordered these shoes with the knowledge that Merrell is a great shoe for walking. As soon as I put the shoe on, I knew it was a keeper however, after a bit of walking around in the house with the pair on, this shoe runs big! (At least for me!) I typically wear a 7.5w or 8m. Since the shoe wasn't available in a 7.5w I ordered the 8m hoping that the shoe fit comfortably. It has a great toe box, but because they were a good finger push too long, I can't tell if they are a good fit. I have ordered a 7.5 in hopes that it is a keeper, I need a great walking shoe for my honeymoon in Europe!
