This shoe is amazing! I recently had a very bad ankle injury and really needed a good shoe that would allow me to run without another injury to my ankle. This shoe is incredibly comfortable, but it provides great support. I was able to run in these virtually pain free! This is the first time I have tried Asics. My husband (also a runner) loves them so I gave them a try. I am so glad that I did. As with any running shoe, you probably want about 1/2 size bigger than a casual shoe. It is not the cutest shoe out there, but if you are serious about running, that is the last thing to be concerned about.

Kayanos ROCK - Worth every penny - the shoe (narrow version) fits my foot like a glove and looks GREAT while pounding the pavement. I'll never buy another type of running shoe, this is my 5th pair. Thanks Asics!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Shoe - I have never used Asics before but a friend recommended them to me. They are amazing! It's like running on pillows. The heel box is comfortable and makes my foot feel secure without slipping. I am middle aged with an assortment of problems: knees, shin splints, back, etc. I haven't had any issues since running in these. Highly recommend!

First time Asics wearer - Great shoe--style and narrow width are hard to find together in one shoe. This one does both. I stand on my feet all day and these shoes felt great!

If only - If only there were a little more cush in the heel it would be perfect...they are great shoe with good toe room, wide enough with good ankle support.

Shoe is very comfortable but unattractive. It is great for walking or running. I have been wearing this style for about 5 years now.

These look much better online. I have been looking for a pair of fringe boots and these disappointed. They felt cheap and I had a hard time tucking a pair of jeans in these.

These boots are warm and comfy, size 10 fit my on the skinny side size ten foot perfect. I will keep them however they are not 100% waterproof. When I put them on after a 25 block walk through rain and big puddles I realized my socks felt damp, when I felt inside the boot I noticed that at the very tip of the boot water had gotten through on both feet, it was not much water but enough to notice.

Perfect fit! I love this running shoe. I tried on almost eight pairs of running shoes and these were the most comfortable by far. They have the perfect amount of arch support, cushion, and stability. Unlike the other reviewer, I found no problems with the heel padding at all.

I like this shoe although I feel that it could use more support on the pad of the foot.

I ordered these because my previous shoes, the Kayano 14's, are so comfortable. I don't feel like these shoes are as comfortable. I think it takes a while to break them in. Also, it seems that the laces come up higher than the 14's did, which has caused me pain in the front of my ankle. I've had to unlace them from the top holes. I'm hoping they'll break in and be less stiff.

This shoe is comfortable and offers a lot of structure and support which I need due to problem knees. The color is lighter than what I would prefer, but I keep coming back to Asics for a reason; the comfort can't be beat. I always order 1/2 size up and the "D" width.

Comfy at first, but they make my feet numb - I don't think I realized how far gone my Gel-Kayano 14s were, but when I first put on my new 15s I was thrilled. They were very comfy and seemed to fit very well. I wore them around the house for a day before putting them to use at the gym. But from my first "real" wearing at the gym, they've made my feet numb. I've tried re-lacing; even loosening the laces until my feet slid around, but the result is the same: numb feet every time. It's very disappointing considering the price.

ASICS Review - I don't think I would buy this shoe again. I don't like the lop-sided way they lace, and they seem to force me to toe out. I don't get the support I need for my overpronation, and they don't seem to allow me to point my feet straight ahead. I'm glad I paid attention to other reviews because they absolutely do run small. Overall, I'm disappointed in them and plan to return to Sauconys or try another brand altogether. Still received the same great Zappos service though.

Lots of Bounce but Little Support - I wore this pair for an hour on the treadmill and elliptical at the gym. The shoes feel as if the cushioning is great because they have a lot of spring and bounce, but I noticed a little soreness on the bottom of my left heel. I am sensitive to this because of a bone spur and a bout with plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I didn't experience the side of the heel discomfort mentioned by the previous reviewer. I liked the new lacing pattern because the tongue didn't move to the side as it usually does on my shoes. The major drawback is the lack of arch support compared to my current shoes, Asics GT-2120, which are over two years old. I have a narrow foot and have trouble finding a good fit.

Unlike previous versions of the Gel-Kayano, this one does not offer good support. I should have stopped running in it when I realized my ankles hurt, but I continued, and got a bad stress fracture. Unfortunately, I already threw out my receipt, otherwise I would do whatever I could to return these.

I have several pairs of Asics and have been very happy with each pair that I have owned. They have good heel support, having had planters fasciitis. This pair has to be the worst ever, one heel is narrower than the other, the mesh above my big toe has already wore through on one shoe having wore only indoors purchased 2 months ago. They are not worth the money, there are good Asics out there but these are not worth the money. I'm disappointed!

Disappointed - Since I enjoy wearing the gel kayano 14, I thought this shoe would offer the same amount of support and comfort, but it turns out to be a big disappointment. Where is the arch support? My feet and knee hurts after wearing them around the house for a while. Now, I have heel pain on my left feet. I'll return this and get the 14 instead.

Gel Kayano 15 - I was very disappointed in this shoe. I have almost every version of the Gel-Kayano except for the last several years because of lack of comfort and this one is no exception. The padding on the inside of the ankle is very hard. I felt it with my thumb before I even put the shoe on. I can't believe they designed this shoe this way. There is no way I would run in this shoe. I didn't feel any real great cushioning like past models either. Did anyone at Asics try this shoe on??? Please go back to the way you used to make this shoe! However, it is a cute shoe and very light but lacks comfort in a big way...needless to say this went back the same day I got it.
