Huge Asics fan - and the Kayano just keeps getting better. The tread wears faster than on other brands, but there is no break in period with these shoes, and I've never had any issues with pain or fatigue with Kayano.

Have worn this shoe for years; and I've had at least 4 or 5 pairs of size 11 1/2. Bad news for folks who've worn them before: they've changed the pattern somewhat: moved the laces off center and they're shorter than they used to be. I ended up needing the 12 instead of the 11 1/2; thank goodness, Zappos had them. Still a great shoe for pronation...just different.

Fabulous shoe! I love the gel comfort. The shoe gives great support. The angled lacing on top gives the correct flexibility in the upper shoe design. I'll be buying this model for a long while. I bought the wide width and found it true to size.

These are awesome shoes! I have a collapsing arch and had to wear insoles with all of my running shoes until these ones. They are an awesome stability shoe and have incredible arch support. Very comfy! They aren't the best for lifting weights though due to the arch support you can really feel it in you're arches when squatting because they won't let your arches collapse so running or walking is what they are good for and a different pair would be better for lifting unless you don't mind a little discomfort. I just wish they made a few more color choices like a darker version for running outdoors.

Asics shoes are always great! I am an orthotic wearer and these shoes allow for comfort and style. I am a committed Asics fan.

I love these shoes but I can't keep them. They feel great at first but the laces push on a nerve and make my two toes next to my pinkie toe fall asleep. I don't know if it has something to do with the lacing system or just because I have bony feet and high arches. I've heard that people with high arches have problems with very supportive shoes? I love the shoes. Great support, narrow heal and the 2A is perfect for narrow feet. So sorry I'm returning these!

The Asics Gel-Kayano series are fabulous shoes for runners or people who participate in step or any high impact aerobic class. If you remove the insert and compare to your current shoe, you will see the difference. I like the new 16 even better than the 15, but I bought the 15 because Zappos had it on sale at a great price and I wanted a red pair of Asics. I workout 5 times a week and I alternate between the 16 and 15 to allow the shoes to fully dry between workouts. I love Zappos shipping policy.

I own the Gel Kayano 14's and I ADORE those shoes. They helped me through a half marathon and they are the most comfortable shoes I own! Because the other ones are getting pretty worn out, I bought the next generation (15) and these are pretty good too. The white is really bright (my last ones were more gray) and the crossover laces are taking some getting used to but overall it is a great/comfy shoe! I love Asics and would definitely recommend them to any runner.

The shoe was not for me. I bought it for wife. She likes the Gel Kayano for its design and comfort. Ordering was easy. I made a mistake on the online order made a phone call and it was resolved in 5 minutes.

This shoe came sized as is typical for Asics (I always size a little up for an Asics shoe). Great, comfortable shoe. The heel protection is perfect. It feels a little heavier than some of my other running shoes but overall I would highly recommend this for a running shoe. I used it for a half-marathon and came out with no blisters or problems with my feet. It was perfect.

Can't go wrong with Asics Kayano. Yes it is the top of their line, but feel great every day that you wear them. Ankle, heel and arch support are top notch. As commonly recommended, I always go up a full size in running shoes. No exception with this model.

I am a marathon runner and I love ASICS. They hold up better than other popular running shoe brands, such as Mizuno. They are so comfortable I don't even feel like I really have to break them in. In the past, I have purchased the ASICS Gel Cumulus (I have 4 pairs). I put a lot of wear and tear on my shoes from training and wearing the shoes daily because they are so comfortable. I decided to try the Kayanos in order to gain more stability than the Cumulus. I was greatly surprised to find how well the Kayanos held up to my constant abuse. They lasted more than a hundred miles longer than the Cumulus, and helped me to avoid injury. I would recommend this shoe for those who are looking for stability and cushion in their running shoes. They are more expensive than what I normally spend on a pair of shoes, but the extra expense has been worth it. They held up longer than other shoes and are extremely comfortable; this, to me, makes up for the extra expense.

I LOVE THESE SHOES and Zappos. 2 years ago at the age of 33 I bought my first pair of tennis shoes that actually fit at a local running store. I have a very short and very wide foot that is hard to fit. After I wore those out I started to look at Zappos for a new pair. I tried several different kinds and kept sending them back. Zappos never said I was past my limit! After several tries decided to go with the identicals to the first pair that fit (Asics GT 2130). They got here and felt good. Well, about 10 days later I was pulling them on and the tongue FELL off! I was so sad - I needed them for my college fitness class. I contacted Zappos live help, they told me they were out of my size in the GTs, but look around. Found these and they are even MORE comfy than the GTs. I could not believe how good they felt. They don’t squeeze, they bend with my foot. These are truly excellent shoes. They may be a tad more expensive, but they are SO worth it if you have foot problems. Plus, the tongue is part of the shoe not sewn on, problem solved. As for Zappos’ excellence they up graded me to VIP, I placed my order still had the busted older pair. They were shipped on the 28th and arrived on the 28th!! I am so in love with these shoes, and prompt service does not even describe the service. Wish other online stores were as reliable as Zappos.

Excellent upgrade in the Gel Kayano line! The most significant difference, as one with wider feet, is the new netting outlying the pinky-toe area. In the Kayano 14 model, that area previously had a hard plastic molding which would irritate my pinky-toe during my long runs. The netting in the Kayano 15 provides that extra give, reduces irritation and has eliminated that problem for me. This model is definitely true to width, and an overall more comfortable shoe. I also have a slight pronation and this shoe provides just enough stability for me.

Great toe box, fantastic arch support, fits true to size, gel is AWESOME! The mesh on toe box keeps your feet super cool and allows them to breathe while running.

Love, love, love these shoes! I usually run in Mizunos, but decided to give these a try. To me, these are just running shoes... I wouldn’t walk or wear them all day. The extra cushioning at the top of the shoe in the heel/ankle area felt awkward to me when I first put on the shoes; however, I decided to give ‘em a try. I quickly forgot about those weird feeling "bumps" around my ankles when I stepped on the treadmill. They feel great! I tend to overpronate, and these shoes keep my feet in the correct position to strike and roll, making my running stride more comfortable and my feet less achy afterward.

Zappos has a huge selection and a huge range of sizes. The shoes arrive promptly and are exactly as advertised. Amazing company!!!

I have inflammatory arthritis and hurt the majority of the time. I have to have good shoes and Asics Gel-Kayano are the best I've found. I had problems with heel pain the minute I got out of bed! It is now completely gone because of wearing my Asics! I have less back pain and leg fatigue when I am on my feet for long periods of time (as long as I have these shoes on). My first pair were the Gel Kayano 14 and the 15 is just as good. I would recommend the Gel Kayano to anyone who needs cushion with support!

I have always loved Asics running shoes. After going to several sporting goods stores these were the best fit that I found. They have the right combination of cushion and support. Would reccommend them to anyone, especially anyone who has high arches.

I have been buying Asics Gels for many years. As a moderate runner, I love a shoe that I can count on every time. The supportive heel prevents any rolling while running. I insert my own custom sport orthotic with plenty of room. The new lacing style is just fine, nice update! I wouldn't run in anything else.

These are the only shoes my wife will wear after the first pair I got her 2 years ago. She runs every day to stay on top of her fitness requirements in the Army. She has the best times in her unit for the 2 mile run and is twice as old as most in the unit.

The best shoes for over-pronators. My physical therapist said to get these for arch support while I work. I run around all day and have flat feet, so these are fabulous! I'm going to get another pair for the gym!
