I love the Asics Kayano shoe. I've been wearing this brand/style for years. This updated style is cute. The lacing system works well. As a busy working Mom, where else can you order a pair of shoes online, get them the next day, and with free shipping? Zappos, thanks for making my life easier.

Great gym shoe. Lightweight, heel runs narrower so it does not slip, order up a size. With the asymmetrical lacing the shoe is tighter in the middle (arch area) and it keeps your foot from sliding forward. Washed in the washer and set out to dry; looked and felt like new.

Love this shoe. I wasn't happy that they changed the style so much. I was worried that they wouldn't be as comfortable as the the 14s. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are every bit as good as the 14s. No break-in time needed for me. I do have a narrow foot so I replaced the insole with a higher quality one. Many reviewers say it runs a half size small, but I found it runs true to size. I bought the pink and love how not only are they comfortable and perform well, but are also stylish. Now that I have worn them for a couple of weeks, I like the new design and feel that the cross strap on top of the toe box will help the shoe hold up better, especially since I have a narrow foot.

These are my sixth pair of Kayanos and by far the most comfortable. I have flat feet and they provide much needed support and stability. I’m a runner and a walker and they’re great for both. I have the Kayano 14s and they run at least a half size smaller than the 15s. Also, the 14s have given me blisters probably because they are too small to wear my Thorlo Lite socks. I will buy another pair before they discontinue them.

These are very comfortable running shoes. Not as comfortable as the Kayano 14, those felt like you were walking on clouds. Feels like the support isn't as good but still a nice shoe.

The Kayano is a great running shoe that I’ve used consistently since I increased my mileage four years ago. I’m a slight overpronator, and selected Kayano because it has more cushioning than the 2100-whatever-number-it-is-now series of Asics shoe. I find it worth the extra cost for reducing wear and tear on my joints. I trained for and ran a marathon in Kayanos, and I’ve done any number of half marathons, 10-milers, and shorter races in them as well. This generation of Kayanos looks a bit different from previous ones, most notably the slanted tongue area. I was apprehensive at first - I hate it when they change things - but I have not found any difference in fit or performance – I’m as pleased as ever. It has a roomy toebox and good ankle support – I’ve always just been able to put them on my feet and go, and not think about them again other than lacing adjustments. These shoes continue to get lighter over the years - but understand it is a substantial shoe because of the support and cushioning it provides. I race in them because I train in them. The shoe is a Cadillac, not a Ferrari - but comfort is just what I need for long road trips and to get where I want to go. Buy a half size larger than your normal shoe size.

Great shoes. Every morning when I got up my heels would ache from the previous day's workout. Since getting these shoes the pain is gone. They're not the most attractive tennis shoe I've worn, but I'll take pain free over style anytime.

I LOVE these shoes! This order will be for my second backup pair. I think they fit great and I am a size 11 wall-to-wall. The 'personal heel fit' technology takes a bit of growing into but once the process is complete, they are ready for anything!

First and foremost, I have to preface any shoe review with caution: No one shoe can fit two people the same way. Everyone’s feet are different and therefore have different needs. That said, I’m about 5’2” and weigh in at 169 lbs. My feet tend to run wide so I usually special order D size running shoes. Just got back from my first run with my Kayano 15. Even as a fan of the Kayano 14 model, I have to say that the upgrades in the 15 model brings the Kayano up to a new level of appreciation. The most significant change I noticed on my run was the lack of chafing on my pinky toe. Even though I have been running with a D width Kayano 14, there was the slightest snugness that rubbed my pinky toe. It always left my pinky toe with some sensitivity. In the 15 model, they’ve gotten rid of the stiff plastic boning and replaced it with softer, light-weight material that allows for extra give. Even though the pair is brand new, my feet felt so fresh after the run. The next significant upgrade is the asymmetrical lacing. During today’s shorter run, the 15 felt like they had a more natural fit to my feet. I’m curious to see whether the pressure I usually feel on the top of my feet is relieved on a long run. With the 14 model, I had to lace up my shoes pretty loosely. More on that when I work back up to longer runs. Overall, I’m very happy with my new Kayano 15s.

I teach a high impact cardio class, and had been using the Gel Kayano Trainers for quite some time (I also had the runners (14s) for other things). The 15s are totally different. Do not like the BRIGHT white material (I have the blue/white) but the design on the inside lining of the shoe that goes over the top -which you can see- that is cool but several Asics have that now... After trying the Asics gel Kushon TR, Asics Gel Intensity (the one recommended to me to replace my discontinued Kayano Trainers), the Asics Gel 250 TR, and Asics DS trainer 14, the Gel Kayano Runners were the winner. It was the extra cushioning the ball of the foot that did it for me (I tend to do a lot of my jumping on the balls of my feet). I also wear hard thick orthodics, which make a HUGE difference. You get what you pay for. I was hoping to be able to switch to a lesser Asics to save a little $, because I am buying new ones about every 3-4 months, but these win.

I love the Kayano. I keep trying other brands because a friend owns a store that doesn’t carry Asics and I really want to support the business, but I just keep coming back. Fits like a glove, the right amount of support and cushion. I wear orthotics, and for some reason, I tried the same size I wear in regular shoes. For the first time, they fit. I have never worn my street size in a running shoe. Had to wear thinner socks, but felt so effortless. Pretty amazing.
