I bought this pair of Merrells last year in Dec and they are the most comfortable warm pair of shoes I have ever owned. I was going to buy new shoes for this winter but nothing feels as good as these. Mine are black suede, I think I will buy the black in smooth leather too. They fit my size 10 (not wide) feet perfectly. I wish they were available in Mens for my husband.

I love these boots! These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I am a horse person who works in and out of the muck most of the day. I have problem feet from wearing footwear that did not fit properly. These boots are perfect for what I need. I love that they are nice and wide.

Outstanding boot - These boots are outstanding: comfort, versatility, and style. You can wear them almost anywhere (ok, maybe not on the beach...) and have all-day comfort.

My favorite shoes! I've had my Blundstones for over 5 years now and I love them! Comfortable, rugged, great for all kinds of weather, and so classic. I've worn them in the city and hiking... I'm also a big klutz and I swear they help me stay upright. I also put those gel insoles in and that makes them perfect. I'm really happy to see them here on Zappos - I'm happy to spread the word about these gorgeous specimens of leathery goodness. Treat your feet!

Pros: Good looking, well made boot. Roomy toe box. Their Medium width is a little wider than average (as wide as Timberland Pro Nashoba Soft Toe in Wide width). Flexible & light weight. Easy on/off but stays in place on foot well enough. Good for casual use. Cons: Not a very rigid/structured boot to support heavy work. Little arch support.

I received a pair of 500s and 550s 15 months ago. The leather on the 550 looked fake and does require a good polish every now and then, but they are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. I am a carpenter and do roofing delivery so I am hard on shoes (and feet), but these boots are so light and durable that I do no want to take them off and do not think that I will bust them for a long while yet. There are a lot of reviews that say these are not the same Blunnies they used to make, but I still must say, they are the best that I have ever worn.

I've had a pair of these for about 4 years. They fit very well even though I have wide feet. They are very practical, they are not wearing well however. The leather upper has cracked on pretty much every point where it was under stress, and I am very conscientious about polishing them, and looking after the leather. I used to wear them in the winter in NYC, where I think the salt probably did a lot of damaged. I've since bought a pair of Blundstones 500s, which are not as comfortable , but handle the abuse better.

Overall I am pleased with Blundstones. They are both comfortable and durable. The only caveat being that when wearing them for long periods of time, my ankle starts rubbing against the boot.

I've had a pair of Clarks boots that were similar in style and had literally come apart at the seams. Based on some reviews I ordered a pair of Blundstone's. I love them! I work in construction so it's great to have a good looking, comfortable pair of boots to wear in the office and on the job site. I'm glad they came with the extra insoles. After a few days my boots had stretched out a good bit, but with the extra insoles they fit perfectly once again. I'd highly recommend Blundstone's and the BL550 in particular.

For an active woman living in New England these shoes are great for Fall. I walk the dog in them each morning and my feet stay warm and dry. I think they will be fine in the Winter, too. Also, nice to wear while doing work around the yard. Seem pretty well made. Wear thick socks as they are roomy throughout. Not the most stylish boots, but are good with jeans.

Overall good boot, easy to slide on and off, durable, etc. with good heel height. My one issue with the appearance is that the front is a little too formless, with a lot of extra vertical space in the forefoot and toe box. That may be because my feet are large US W11, but I think it is probably for wearing thick socks? Either way, makes the book a little clunkier than it needs to be. Wouldn\'t recommend them for anything other than very casual wear, but as work boots they do the trick.

These boots are cute and comfy. The length runs true, but the width is really men’s. I had to put in 2 sets of insoles to take up the extra space. But they are still comfy, warm, soft and dry. I use them as my snow boots, easy on and off and they look good with jeans. I think they need more arch support, although they do have a little!

I love the look and the quality of this shoe. It seems very well made. My only complaint is they are not the most comfortable (around my ankles), but I think they will break in and be just fine. I would certainly recommend them though.

Ankle boots - I haven't worn ankle boots very long, and actually prefer a taller boot. But the Blundstone boot is comfortable and light for desirable walking boot.

A bit of breaking in - First, my feet are difficult for boots. I have high, but rolling arches. On a Brannock device, my feet measure to a 6.5B (L) and just under 7B (R) respectively, however I usually wear size 7.5. I attribute this to my high arches. A size 38 European usually fits perfectly. I ordered both the 4.5 (which is a bit snug in the arches) and a 5. The 5 was just too big, so I kept the 4.5, but I am having to break them in. I am not using the Blundstone insoles, but some more supportive ones. This is actually the first day I have worn them out of the house. The right boot fits quite well, the left one is putting some pressure on my arch. I poked around on the internet for Blundstone fitting and several sites said that you might experience tightness over the arch. If after a few wearings it doesn't get comfy, I will take them to the cobbler. The boots seem to be of great quality. I very much like the look.

I read rave reviews so was excited to try these boots. As advised, I ordered half a size bigger and they fit fine. They are well-made with good materials. However, they are stiff and really hard to get off and there is no room to insert any arch support so I can't wear them for long periods. Disappointed.

I was really hoping these would work out for my wide foot, but sadly it's too narrow even in the half-size. I'm a 10.5 E or EE typically with a wide forefoot and normal heel. Maybe they would stretch enough after a while, but as of now they make my forefoot go completely numb within 15 min from crushing it in width. Not worth the $200 risk for me though.

Have lost faith in this boot. The upper leather is quality, but it's all about the base. This boot does not hold up at all. The sole is the worst I have ever seen for a boot. Boots are supposed to be durable. I bought my first pair in Australia, they were amazing in all avenues: Comfort, quality, warmth. I wore them for over 20years. Someone changed the design, sadly. I got about 10 wears out of these boots. The sole began to crack after about 5 uses, then sat in my closet until the following winter. When I got them out for winter, the sole crumbled. Never have seen a shoe or boot do this. I live in a mild climate, mostly wearing flip flops. Boots are worn for a very short season. I hope they can remedy this issue, highly disappointing!!

Beautiful well-made shoes. I'm an 8.5 to 9 and ordered the 8.5 (AUS 5.5). Sadly, they were just a tad too small, so I had to return them.

I have Osteoarthritis and have had one knee replacement surgery. The first day I got these I wore them for eight hours. I would wear them every day if I could, but so far I only have one pair. They are comfortable, beautiful, supportive, and absolutely my very favorite shoes! For reference, I wear US 9, EU 39. I bought the AU 6, and they are perfect. Customer Service was great!

I bought the 8 and 7.5 - 8 fit way better. These are my second pair, my first pair lasted 15 years. If these last the same, I'll be 88 . . . Hope I last that long!
