These boots are very comfortable, very well made, quality leather. Perfect for my home in the Northeast woods. They keep my feet nice and dry. These are my second pair - this time I went for the leather lining and extra insoles. Not bad looking either, I don't hesitate to wear them to town with better clothes.

This is my first experience with Blundstone and I am a fan for life. Most comfortabe shoes/boots I have ever worn. Will definitely buy again. Great service from Zappos as usual.

I have wanted a pair of these for a while. I ordered them on Thursday night and they arrived Friday. They were true to size, and immediately comfortable. They look great with anything. Since I have never owned a pair, I can't comment on the build issues cited by others. Mine were made in Vietnam, seem solid.

Really beautiful shoe- the leather is soft and pliable, even for a double-leather boot. These are dressy, not too rugged, but eminently swanky. The sole is extremely tough, and they are comfortable enough to wear all day right out of the box. The downloadable Blundstone sizing chart (PDF) is very handy and worked well for me. I wear a size 45 Euro, and the 11 AU fit me perfectly well for a casual shoe.

Now I know why there is an almost cult-like following for Blundstone boots. I ordered two pairs w/ the intention of selecting the ones I liked the most. I ended up keeping them both. I bought the smooth leather version and the suede ones. Both are lined. I have normal to narrow feet and the boots fit perfectly. I like my boots a bit snug and then let my feet break them in to a perfect fit. They were comfortable from day one and get better every day. They are not a heavy duty boot. I wear my loggers for heavy work. The Blundstones are flexible, the sole is not very stiff. This may mean a shorter life but it will be a pleasant shorter life.

Got these boots for my husband who wears them outside in the rain and mud, and they're working out great for him. Previous boots he has had (LL Bean slip-ons and other non-leather slip-on boots) have not lasted very long with him, but these look much more durable and comfortable. Definitely recommend them (I've worn my pair of Blunnies for years), and also Zappos with such quick service. Many thanks.

I actually wear flip flops most of the year due to living in the CA desert, but there are a couple of months of the year that it is cold enough to require something a little warmer on my feet. I have had Blundstones in the past (a souvenir of a trip to Australia) so I knew they would be comfortable and they are. The sizing is as stated, and they required no "breaking in" time like so many other boots. I think you will be happy with them if you decide to purchase... I actually purchased both the brown and black pairs.

Great boots. Great fit. They come with an extra this insert that reduce a half size to make sure they fit correctly. I wear a 9.5-10 typically and am very happy with the Australian size 8.

These boots are great! Run a bit big, but they come with an insert so that if you wear a thinner (or thicker) sock, they still work. (Order your usual size). High quality. Nice and warm. I wanted something to wear to work (I’m a teacher) that is comfortable, not too heavy or "clunky", and I can wear all day. Didn’t want to wear a boot to work and then change my shoes because the boot looks too casual. These are perfect.

These just arrived in the mail after I ordered them yesterday morning! I've wanted a pair of Blunnies for years, and finally took the plunge. I was hoping them to fill a void in my closet: a tough boot in crappy conditions or when playing/working outside and a sleeker leather shoe to wear to work. These fit that description exactly. They felt great right out of the box, and I immediately went out on a 3 miles walk in 6 inches of fresh snow and sleet with the dog. My feet stayed 100% dry and warm the whole time. The boots come with a set of insoles in the box from Blundstone to customize the fit a bit should one foot be slightly bigger/smaller than the other, or to accommodate any variation in the shoe's size (see past reviews). I'm a 6 or 6 1/2 women's, and ordered a size 4 Australian (6 1/2 US). With a pair of winter wool socks they fit perfectly. I think this is the start of a lifetime of owning a pair of these.

I love these boots! I'm on my second pair. The first lasted me about 8 years and only because they were left near a heater the sole gave out. Going to the beach in these is a dream! Put your foot in the ocean, and your feet will not get wet. I use them in the snow, at the dog park, or just walking my kids to school. These are worth the price. They are a roomy fit, but that is great for warm and comfy socks.

EXCELLENT Shoe! Purchased these for winter-walking the dogs and looking smart in yucky weather. Never a damp or wet foot all winter. The included foot pads adjusted the slightly large fit to a perfect fit! Excellent, excellent build quality, and after a very snowy Midwestern winter, they still look as new. Great value!

Perhaps the best boot I have ever worn. I bought these on a whim. I have always liked the look, but I have flat and wide feet. I tend to only wear Birkenstocks, Mephistos, Danskos, etc. to accommodate my situation, but I just had to give these a shot. Well, not only do they fit like a dream, but they might just be the most comfortable shoe I own. My lower back pain has receded some. I can walk longer with my feet hurting less. These things are amazing. Since they do not come in widths, I ordered the next size up and it's almost like these were bespoke. FANTASTIC! I will be buying these for as long as they make them. I wore these beautiful boots for half a day today, and am very impressed. I have very high insteps and an old injury left a thick ankle, so they were a bit difficult to slip on at first, but once on (wearing thin socks) fit well despite my slightly wide feet, and I think they will loosen up a bit with wear. I wear a 39 in Birkenstock sandals, a 40 in Dansko clogs, and an 8.5-9.5 in US women's sizing. I purchased a size 6.5 and they fit perfectly. It was hard to determine the difference between the 500 and the 550 series on the site. I tried both, and the 550s were easier to slip on due to a nice leather lining. The 500s have a textile lining that made it more difficult to slip on. The 550s include an additional insole to add if the boots feel too lose, which seems a good idea. I also preferred the leather finish on the 550s, which seems a bit more polished. Wearing them, they were comfortable, with plenty of room for my wide toes. I wish there was more arch support, and I made use an aftermarket insole, but otherwise the boots feel sturdy and supportive. The sole seemed to grip the snow and slick driveway quite well. I hope they live up to the hype and give me many years of comfortable use.

Boots have a great look and appear durable. Have worn 4-5x. I am a solid 7.5 and they do fit, the caveat is this: I have a high arch and the top of my foot opposite my arch hurt a lot after a few hours of wearing to the point I took them off while at dinner. That said, I have shoe stretchers and have put them in about 4 nights and they are making a substantial positive difference in fit. I could not go bigger as the fit is right for footbed. Non lace shoes with my high arch are a known risk but truly, the shoe stretchers working well, they are much more comfortable & I like them very much.

Everting is good but after 12 months of wearing these boots, elastic fabric on ine side started to frail

Well first thing is I was told this boot runs small in size. And this wasn't true for me at all. It actually felt true to size. But in the long run the boots were a complete disappointment. 1st thing is, they are not made in Australia like you are lead to believe. They are made in Vietnam. Second thing is the rubber sole actually started to come away from the leather. So essentially they are separating. Third thing is they are dyed the color that they come in so when they get scratched, the color comes off of them. I really wanted to like the boots and now I am going to try out some Chippewa's that Zappos sells. Oh and Zappos is amazing to deal with! Hopefully Blundstone goes back to their roots and put out a great product like they did in the past.

These are really nice boots. Appearance, comfort, quality—-it’s all there. The very first time I tried them on, they fit like gloves. They aren’t loose or sloppy fitting in any way, but there’s plenty of room for your toes—-they don’t get squashed together like so many shoes. The only reason I didn’t buy them is because I found them to fit close at the top of the boot where the pull tabs are. There is no way I could simply slide this on. Putting them on requires sitting down and pulling them up over your feet with the pull tabs. I am lazy, and I preferred another boot that looked similar but was a bit wider at the top. I also felt that a boot with a slightly lower shaft looked better on me as I have short legs.

This is my second pair of Blundstone 550's and I literally wore the heels and toes of them out! I wore them in the winter over a period of about 12 years! Great shoes and very comfortable. When my old ones wore out I was delighted to find these still available.

I love these boots. I have worn them every day since getting them for Christmas. They don’t require breaking in - I went for a two mile walk in them the day after I got them with no problems. Can’t wait to buy another pair!
