They look more like a leather rain boot than a rustic leather boot, but I'm guessing they'll look better as they age. Regarding sizing, I typically wear a men's US 11 sneaker and bought two pairs before settling on AU 9.5 (US 10.5). Also, they're a little roomy, so I'd recommend wearing thicker socks with them.

These are as good as always. I am not sure what people are complaining about when they say the quality is not what it used to be. These just arrived to replace an ancient pair of the same boots, and I do not notice much difference at all. They are well-made, comfortable, and look good. I do recommend sizing down a half-size though, as they run large.

This is my fourth pair of Blundstone 510s and I've worn each pair for years and years. A great boot - comfortable and durable.

These are my all-time favorite boots. Comfortable after about a 10-minute break-in period. I have them in brown, too. I finally had to replace my first pair of black ones because after 10 years, the leather was very scarred on the toe tip and no amount of polish or shoe repair was helping. And the sole had a crack in it, also impossible to repair. But I simply couldn't live without them, so I was so pleased to see that Zappos now carries the brand.

Excellent and well made boot. This is my second pair -- the first was just retired after being purchased in 2001!

I am a airline pilot and these boots are my winter wear choice. Very comfortable, pull on in seconds, and after two years look brand new. They shine up awesome. Only knock it the little pull up thingies catch your pants, and bunch up if your not careful. Buy without hesitation.

This is the third pair of Blundstones I've owned in 5 years. My first pair, which I've worn pretty much every day since 2005 finally gave out after walking the streets of Los Angeles, New York, China, and most of Europe. I bought a pair of the work boots at around the same time and am still wearing them on construction sites without any sign of the soles wearing thin. I've tricked both pairs out with gel-soles and plan on buying another pair when these wear out. I highly recommend these boots to anyone who wants quality footwear and has high expectations for how their shoes hold up. You can't go wrong with these shoes!

I had a pair of these for ten years. I wore then until the soles gave out. The leather was still in perfect condition, just comfortably worn. I'm happy to have this new pair to break in and enjoy for the next decade, hopefully.

These are great boots. This is my second pair. I get three hard working years out of them. Rugged and comfortable. Shipping was fast.

I just purchased my second pair of Blundstones. The first pair last 10 years of gardening, wet weather and general abuse. Great boots, cushioned and comfy.

My present pair still has a lot of life left in them. Just want a backup for when the time comes. This is an incredibly versatile, very durable boot. I work in large sports venues and cover a lot of ground in the course of a day. My BL510's have a ton of miles on them, they break in very well. Soft enough to conform to the shape of your feet over time, and still maintain a ruggedness that makes them last and last. Also very stylish for stepping out at night.

Those are the best shoes ever! For the first four or five times I wore them, it was kind of difficult to slip them on. The elastic bands and the "neck" itself were on the rigid side. After that they slip on really easy, still maintaining some degree of arch support. I wear them to work, and now that we are deep into summer (August) they are slightly hot (no kidding!). The leather is not lambskin, so that isn't as soft, but that is exactly what I like. The inside leather, fabric and insole are very comfortable. I love those shoes!

I purchased my first pair of 500's back in 2006 whilst in Melbourne on business. After 3.5 years of steady wear, it was time to replace them. I love 500's. Once broken in, they are incredibly comfortable and very durable. For frequent travelers such as myself, their slip-on-off feature is very useful at airports. They may not be the prettiest boot out there, but they are definitely the most functional.

I ordered these and they have quickly become my everyday boot. Can't say enough about the comfort level and ease of on off in these boots. I got trapped in some bad weather (rain) and the waterproofing is just as advertised. These boots are great. I would suggest you order a full size smaller than normal. I wear a 10 in every other shoe and my 9.5 are still a bit big but comfortable nonetheless.

Blundstones are the best! Absolutely love my Blundstone boots. I have been wearing them for over 9 yrs. and have found them to be the best boot ever. I am a road musician and wear them everywhere. On the stage, walking the many city streets I visit (in all kinds of weather) and just lounging around. The cool thing is the weight. They feel like a slipper almost. Very easy to keep clean also. Blunnies rock! I am a 9 and 1/2, but go with the 10 US in this boot.

I take a 9.5 Mens for Nike shoes, sometimes 9 in other shoes but all these were too big in these boots and I ended up taking a size 8.5. They're tough boots and need some time to break in the leather...but that's the beauty of these boots!

Really good fit, top of boot rubs slightly on Achilles tendon on one side but otherwise excellent. Have walked 2 miles in them several times now with no foot or back pain. I will replace the insoles with more cushion and arch support, these are a little flat for me.

These are such great boots - this is actually my second pair. I wear them walking, hiking, and just going shopping. The traction is great and I can get a thick pair of socks in them, too. My one issue is that the insert they come with has NO padding and I always take it out and put in something with a little more cushion.

Really, really love these! They're classic styling, go with any variety of outfits, and they are durable. I will go into the sizing. First off, I have weird feet. They're average length (about a 7), but they are super wide, so I usually end up wearing a 9 (and that can still be tight). I got the 9.5 and it was both long and wide - but that's fine, I feel, because I wear these with thick socks. I could've definitely sized down to an 8.5, at least. Another note: I have very high arches, and that was initially causing some problems: the boot would squish my arch. I broke that problem in.

Great all year round outdoor boot. Able to withstand any weather and they age well. Only complaint is that no matter what type of sock you wear merino wool, Cotton, alpaca, Smart wool, etc your feet tend to get sweaty after an hour in them.

I'm normally a US 6.5. I tried on the AU 3, AU 3.5, and AU 4. The 3 & 3.5 were both too short but the length of the 4 is just about perfect! I have narrow feet and it's a bit roomy so I added a gel insole. Super happy with the boots.

I love my Blundstones. They are so comfortable. They are great for rainy days and muddy fields. As a fan of Doc Martens, these are in the same family. They are cool looking and good for your feet. Unfortunately, I am on my second pair because the soles on my first split. According to the reputation of this company, that really shouldn't happen. It's too hard to contact the company and return though, so I asked for a new pair as a gift. These are great shoes, as long as the sole split on my last pair was an anomaly.

I couldn't get the sizing right, I tried theses on in size 6.5, which is my normal size, and they were much too tight in the toe. And that was without socks. So I tried a size 7, and they were much too big. Even with thick Smartwool Socks, my heels were sliding around. They are really cute, lightweight, and seem like they would be very comfortable - but they just didn't work for me.

Blundstones are: Hard to get on/off ( I have highish arches and instep), they bruised the heck outta my big toes they compressed in just the wrong place on each step) and internal seams where the elastic attaches rubbed me raw ( with socks) when I wore them more than a mile, slippery(!) on wet city pavement (maybe these aren’t town boots?), no arch support to speak of and my feet were cold in temps below 40 (even with toasty wool socks). I know maaaaaany folks love them; I tried to be one of the cool kids and planned to wear them (and love them) all winter but they don’t fit my feet. The search for a go to winter boot continues, .

I have to agree with another review I read that this is one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever put on and it's not the kind that seems like it would "break in" to be more comfortable. They fit the foot poorly - I ordered 7.5, my true size, and my toe was hitting the front but the sides and top of the foot are loose. There's basically zero arch / footbed support. I don't get the hype. Are their other styles more comfortable?
