I love everything about the boot except the fit. Very hard to get on and the front area is stiff and rubs against my ankle every time I take a step. Had to send them back.

I have worn these boots for a few weeks now, and have to say I would not purchase them again. They look good and are fairly comfortable if I stand, however there are a few glaring issues once I start moving around. On the second day of wear something under the dashboard of my truck managed to nick through the leather on the toe, proving the leather used in these boots is about as durable as a wet paper bag. I have also had an issue with some serious heel slipping. I contacted Blundstone directly and was told that purchasing their Xtreme Comfort insololes would correct this issue. It did not and I am still experiencing some fairly uncomfortable heel slipping on n the right boot.

Very disappointed at the construction of this shoe. For the high price I would have expected a softer footbed and better cushioning, I have removed the insert and put an aftermarket gel insert in to create a better feel. I thought the leather might be sewn into the sole but it appears to be glued and the leather isn't as thick and heavy as I had hoped. I am using these for work and my work involves crawling around attics and in crawl spaces, I'm going to give these boots a try but I'm not sure that they will be as tough as advertised. I will say that the fit was accurate but at this point that's all I can say.

I have been wearing this boot (same model number) for over 24 years. I have my originals, still in decent shape, and 3 consecutive pairs over the last 5 years. In effect, the first pair lasted 12 years and the recent revs of this boot last maybe 14 months at best under daily wear. What you will get now is a disposable copy of what BLundstone once was. Sometime in the late 1990's, production moved to Taiwan and 3 major changes messed up the historical awesomness of this boot. 1. change in leather. The modern version of the 510 uses a lower quality leather, which has a bulbous crease. Out of the box, fine.. but quickly the leather stretches and bows out from the crease. Whenever I see someone with a pair of Blundstones on, I can easily tell if they are 'legacy' or a more recent production run. 2. The Rubber. Not only will a cobbler laugh at resole questions, the rubber wears 1000x faster than the old versions. Again, I still have my pair from 1989, the sole has the same wear-out as my 2009 pair. It's spongy-er and bendy-er, but not exactly what I'm looking for in working wear. 3. Elastic. Again, comparing my several pairs, the 80's versions still retain elastic, sides are just fine for 20+ year old boots. Yet the pair ordered from Zappos in 2009/2011 have turned into 'bacon' elastic. Last point: When I got these originally in 1989, I was a college kid. Some generous relative forked over at this cost for a shoe that still lasts.That was real money, and they had to be a specialty order from Australia. Nowadays this cost doesn't go as far, and the quality of the shoe has degraded into a "Street fashion" hipster shoe.... I'm saddened that society and companies like Blundstone have lowered expectations so much. If you are looking for a tough everyday work boot, look elsewhere. Redwing is the only hope.

I love blundstones and have worn this exact pair for years, but the fit must have changed? All I know is that they were so painful on the top of my foot and almost impossible to take on and off. They left a mark afterward, too, and my feet haven’t changed since the last pair I bought.

look and feel like rubber boots

The boot is perfect. I wore these boots maybe 20 times and the soles disintegrated into a tar mess. This is the second pair of perfect boots this has happened to.

Unfortunately the foot entry was too tight . My foot just doesn't bend enough to even get my foot in the narrow opening. The low rise shoe would probably have been perfect but not available anymore in my size. I could not rate the "comfort" because couldn't get my foot in.

Too small Cheap shoes. The old blundstOnes were so great. I’ve owned 5-6 pairs since 1970! Now these are plastic-y and leather is hard. Such a bummer. Returning.

Wanted to love these shoes. Made so well, look so cool. BUT I couldn't even begin to get my foot inside the opening, stretch and push as I might. I have a 6 1/2 narrow foot. I'm surprised others haven't mentioned this??? Had to, sadly, return.

I am very Disappointed with the construction of this Style is not made well.In 2 days wearing it even not walking just in store hardly walked and it came off on both sides upper leather not very well made.i have Blundstone BL550 almost 5 yrs its almost new still using it.

Very slippery on any kind of solid flooring

When I got these shoes everything seemed to fit nice (maybe a little too wide) After a day of wearing they stretched out quite a bit and are loose on my feet. I wish that I would have known and could have sized down.
