I've always wanted a pair of classic Blunnies, but after ordering these and wearing them around the house a couple of times, I can honestly say I don't know what all the hoopla is about them. I ordered my normal size 9 (women's, BTW), and my feet were swimming in them. They were snug to pull on (no biggie), but I'm sure if I ordered down a half size I'd never get them pulled on. Not only that, but the tongue hits the shin and the back of the boot hits the back of the leg when walking, so to consider wearing them without socks is out of the question (I live in Arizona and wear most shoes without socks because of the warm/hot weather). It would drive me nuts. Too bad, so sad. Bye-bye, Blunnies. Back they go.

Everyone raves about this brand - so I finally joined the group. Unfortunately I'm not too happy with fit, but love the look. I have wide feet, and it was tough to find a size that fit well in width and not too loose in ankle. I thought I chose a good compromise, but so uncomfortable. I'm usually a Woman's size 8 in boots, and I bought the 4.5 size in these. Very tight across fuller width of foot, and even after teaching on my feet for two weeks with long hour days and dancing in them, they still haven't stretched to a comfortable fit. They certainly stretched, but not enough. I think the 5 size would be so sloppy in the heel. Ah well...I gave it a go.

First, super kudos to Zappos customer service. They rock! They helped me find a boot when my Dr. Martens were out of my size. They did an even exchange for me with no hassle. This isn’t a bad boot. A little plain for what I was looking for. I ordered the 5.5 size to equal a woman’s 8.5. The boot was huge! It felt at least one full size larger. Also, I have wide feet and normally buy wide width shoes. However. It felt too wide! My foot was swimming in it. Sadly, these are going back.

This is a difficult review because I bought two pairs at the same time, one for me and one for my son, and we had very different results. His are great. Comfortable, stylish and have held up well, even in the rain. However, the heels on both of my boots came unglued and fell off in chunks after only several, normal use wears. The bottoms did not show signs of wear, they just came apart. I contacted Zappos by email to explain what happened and asked about a possible warrant. Their reply shocked me: a big apology with a replacement pair already being shipped to me. No need for me to send them back or even a photo of the boots! Possibly the best customer service ever! The new pair arrived the next day and so far, so good (but I've only worn them twice now). I love the comfort and style of these boots and hope the replacement pair holds up better.

This shoe runs large. Originally ordered size AU11 (US10) and was too big. Had to return as did not have US9.5 size.

Seem like they will need broken in and they just didn't look as nice out of the box as they did online.

Well, I finally got a pair of Blundstones after wanting them for some time. I was looking for boots that were good for winter weather while looking stylish. I wore the boots a few times and they seemed tight in spots around my foot and they also felt stiff like I would not be able to bend my ankle to walk however I pushed forward and I thought that they would loosen up with wear. They did not loosen and as a matter of fact started to actually hurt and give me blisters and this has been more then a year from purchasing them. Granted I do not wear the boots everyday but I feel that I have worn them enough times and for extended amounts of time that they should be past the point of pain and blisters. But they are a nice looking boot and they continue to look good even after wearing them in some harsh weather.

Once the foot was inside the boot it fit. It was just too difficult to get his foot in the top. Probably an excellent boot but did not meet our expectations of being something easy on/off.

I ordered the Blundstone 510 and 558 in a size 6.5. I normally wear a size 9.5 or 10 womens shoe. The 510 feels a size too big, and also quite thin as others have commented. By comparison, the 558 in the same size 6.5 is on the small size and certainly won't fit with the thicker socks I expect to wear with these in the winter. However, the 558 feels soft, supple, and cushiony. I'm returning both pairs and ordering the 558 a half size larger, and am crossing my fingers and toes that the sizing on the next pair isn't so erratic.

Nice looking boot. I am a solid 7.5 women size and these were about 1 size too big for me. The leather does seem to be a lower quality, for the price of these I'd rather buy USA/European made shoes.

This boot is definitely unisex as far as fit. I am a true 7.5 and there was too much room throughout the boot. I liked the look of it but was skeptical about ordering a size down. I'll be sending them back.

Overall, I like these boots. I bought them to be my "go-to" boots for fall/winter, and they'll serve that purpose: very comfortable, sturdy, no break-in needed. My "eeh" issues are: unisex size makes the fit a little clunky (my foot is narrow) and the look also clunky, like I'm wearing my dad’s boots.

I really really wanted this boot to work. I ordered it for a trip to Europe and figured it would be very rugged and durable for walking and sightseeing. But, it fit like a rain boot, not a real shoe. Maybe the shoe just runs very large. I even ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear, but my foot was still swimming around in the boot. I felt as if I was clomping around in my Dad's shoes when I was a kid! Great looking boot but a no-go.

I wanted a pair of simple, yet stylish, lightweight, waterproof, slip on boots for my travels and had read/heard many great things about these boots. The price was high, but "you get what you pay for" or so I thought. At first, when I slipped them on they were everything I hoped they would be. I even wore them around the house all day for a couple of days and they were very comfortable and started to break in nicely, as the good quality leather was stiff, when new. My trip through airport security was easy, the boots were comfortable and fit well. However, the first day of trekking around and walking down a long steep down hill to the ocean, my toes jammed into the steel toe, as gravity pushed my foot forward in a very painful way. Anyone out there have this problem? I do not think the boots are either too big or too small. This winter, I'm going to try putting some lambswool in the toe for cushioning. I hope that helps soften the painful toe, sort of like dancers and ballerinas do. What a disappointment! Be forewarned.

This pair of boots is so large I thought that they had sent a men’s 8 1/2!

Felt small and was uncomfortable across the top of my foot. Couldn't wear them, so returned.

The boots look fine but the opening was so tight it was hard to get them on and off. I didn't find them comfortable but they were recommended by someone who just loves hers.

My husband is a 9.5. We bought the Aussie 9/US 10 and it was too small. Returning for an Aussie 10/US 11 to see how the “US 11” firs his 9.5 foot

The sizing is weird on these. They're HUGE! Felt at least 2 sizes larger than marked.
