A great shoe that is very comfortable. I have been wearing this style New Balance for many years and have never been disappointed.

This is the only pair of shoes I wear most of the year. They're just that good. I started off with the MR992, and then switched when New Balance discontinued the MR992 and went to the MR993. The upper is extremely breathable, the shoes have good support right out of the box. If you want, you can improve the support by adding some New Balance insoles - sold separately. Yes, there's room in there to accommodate an insole. If you love your feet and want them to be happy and healthy, this is the shoe for you. I recommend it to all of my friends.

Good, solid running shoe. Not an ultra-lightweight, racing shoe, but then it lasts a lot longer than those. I've been using these (or their predecessor) for daily training for years.

Purchased for my son for Christmas. He was very happy...these are his "everyday" shoes. And being a college student he does a lot of walking! Originally ordered a 12; had to exchange for an 11-1/2 so they must run a little smaller than his other NB's.

Zappos is the best. I can't imagine why anyone would buy shoes anywhere but online with Zappos. Thanks, Zappos!

My husband loves his New Balance 993's. He put them on the first day he got them and said they were as comfortable as the pair he's worn for a couple of years. No need to break them in.

Awesome for people with wide feet that need to walk half of the day, gives support stability and comfort. And they last more than you would like. :)

Shoe looks great. That being said it is not true to size. A larger size is my recommendation when ordering this item. Order a size to a size and a half.

Right out of the box, these shoes performed as expected - wonderfully. The New Balance team really can not be beat in terms of running shoe technology. Tremendous running shoe all around!

I have worn this same shoe for years. Over time NB has changed the numbers slightly, but it is a great running shoe that offers max support. Zappos is great; ordered them one evening and had them at my door the next afternoon. Amazing.

I bought these for my son who needed shoes yesterday for a fitness class in college. Zappos is great, the order was processed and sent out immediately. I have 2 sons that wear a size 16 and Zappos has been a life saver for us. The products are always great! I absolutely love this shoe. I am a competitive power lifter, who suffers from over pronation and severe flat feet. I have tried so many other brands and shoes for my morning cardio session. These are the only ones that hold up, offer the best amount of comfort and support. Will be sticking with these from now on. I will grant that they are not the best looking shoe out there, but that is an easy trade for me.

Possibly the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn. They are not light, but are solidly put together and feel like they will last a long time. Only complaint is that the black color that I ordered looks a little bit like a very dark blue.

These shoes fit perfectly and are really comfortable. Great for exercise, and they look nice, too. This time we thought we\'d try some other brands, but New Balance wins again! As a side note, Zappos is the best! 3 returns later with shoes that didn\'t fit, we didn\'t pay a dime in shipping and all shoes arrived within 2 days of ordering! Way to go!

Great all around trainer and running shoe providing good lateral stability and cushioning. I use these for serious running (daily 3-5 as well as road races of 10-26.2 miles. I'm 200lbs and have found these and their 991 and 992 predecessors to hold up well.

Great sneaker from New Balance. Has everything you want in a stylish cross trainer, comfort, flexibility, arch support, padding, and best yet made in the USA. All in all it is a great shoe that you won't mind wearing and walking in all day. Comes in other great colors.

I get these for my son in law every year for his birthday. When September comes, I know he needs a new pair of sneaks! He wore these all over Europe on a business trip and said they were so comfortable and supportive. Fit perfectly. Last through many wears!

As a big guy I have a hard time finding running shoes that work well for 6'5 at 245 lbs. My other issue was, I am a military runner so I train 5 days a week 3 to 6 miles at a time. Problem solved! I found the 991, 992 and then the 993! This shoe holds up to dirt, water, sand and a lot of sweat! I wore the 992 and 993 in Iraq and they held up beautifully! I still have the 992's I used over there and wear them daily. Well done NB!

Awesome shoe. If considering the M2002, save your money and buy this shoe instead.
