These are amazingly comfortable shoes! The best I've ever owned. Check the width - there are many options and you want to get the size that is best for you.

Zappos is a great way to buy shoes. This pair of New Balance is a nice pair but I got the wrong size for my son. He shipped them back and got something different. There was no hassle.

The shoe is very comfortable and stylish. I got the wider fit though I have average width feet. I like having the ability to slip them on/off, and this shoe allows me to do that. It is a bit pricey for similar shoes of its class, but it's a shoe that will last a long time. This is my first New Balance shoe, and I'm happy enough with it to remain loyal to the brand. They make great shoes.

These shoes fit great! They have very nice cushion, give very good support and allow my feet to 'breathe'. They are also lightweight. Over the last few years, I have ordered shoes for my mom and both of my sisters. I have always received my order on time and have always received exactly what I ordered. If you have never tried Zappos, you need to. The customer service you will receive is the best you will receive anywhere. Just give them a chance and I seriously doubt that you will ever purchase your shoes anywhere else.

Great shoe for my pronation problem, well made. This is my 2nd pair of 993 model. Highly recommended!

These are nice comfortable shoes, and I am now on my third pair. They are best for walking or light jogging. The size is exactly what they say it is, and they fit well if you order exactly the size you need. I did not find shoes that were any better when I tried Nike or Adidas. These last a year or longer with three day a week use, and then the sole starts breaking down in the side between the heel and the forefoot. As these are gray and not totally white, you can get them dirty and people will not notice until they get really muddy. Not much traction on icy surfaces. But then, most shoes do not have much traction on such surfaces, so be careful in winter.

This is a great shoe. Twenty years ago I ran marathons and wore this style. I stopped running for a while, and now I walk my Labradors 4 miles a day. Feel just as good as I remembered!

My teenage son loves these shoes! They are comfortable, stylish and well-made. He says he definitely runs faster in these than in skate shoes, and scored three times in touch football the first day he got them. ;-)

This is a great shoe. I have worn NB993 for years, but since I moved up to size 15 Zappos.com was the first place I found that sold that size. I was surprised at the choices is color and style that Zappos offered in the shoe as well. All I had been offered before was the grey color. I used to run in the NB993 but now I walk 100 miles a month and get excellent wear from this shoe. We have used Zappos.com twice now to order shoes and are favorably impressed.

My husband absolutely loves these sneakers. They are the only ones he has worn in the past five years! I am so happy that Zappos carries them since shopping at Zappos is the best way to buy any footwear.

These shoes seem to run a little tight around the top of my foot but are very comfortable after a few miles. I like that they are made in the USA.

I have been buying this model for the past 4 years. They are by far the best shoes I have ever owned. They are very comfortable and fit true-to-size. I have pairs for running and wearing out on casual nights. I travel a lot for work, and they make great travel shoes. Easy to get on and off in security lines. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone.

These are by far my favorite sneaker. I have a pronation problem, and these shoes correct it and give me all day comfort.

A very good shoe. Good quality and overall support. My last several shoes have been NB because I have a very wide foot. This model is more expensive than the other NB shoes I've owned, but I believe they'll be worth the premium. Time will tell.

I've been wearing this classic for over 20 years. I believe I wore them before Steve Jobs. The cost makes it a bit tough, but once you slip them on, you forget. I recently had a defective pair, but New balance CS replaced them quickly. The model has gone through a lot of design changes, and the 993 is certainly tops. I wear them for everyday. I would not recommend for everyday running. I've never seen anyone run in them. They are a classic look shoe for the casual person and the casual day.

These are my third pair of New Balance 993. Zappos had my double EE width and I received my shoes without incident.

Very comfortable and flattering in the soft grey shade. The suede is very nice and doesn't show the dirt. I wear a size 13 which is hard to find, so I thank Zappos for carrying this size.

Are you kidding me? Just buy them because you can't beat them. They are a classic American shoe. They fit comfortably and being a size 14 or 15 in athletic shoes, the 14 fits perfect. You will be happy with this purchase.
