Shoes are excellent! I work on my feet ten hours a day so comfort and stability are a must. These shoes deliver great performance.

I just lost 23 lbs in 4 weeks wearing my new New Balance shoes. True story, I spent 2 weeks straight working out in these shoes at the Pritikin Longevity Center in Miami. I find these shoes to be very comfortable and they provide good support. I love them. I would definitely buy another pair!

What can you say, this is an American icon. Great shoe. Long walks are a joy, even with my shoddy knees. Buy with total confidence. These shoes have been around for a long time, and probably stay a while longer! I have two pair and I alternate. They also breathe well in the hot Florida summers.

Surprisingly sturdy, on our gravel roads, they haven't looked grungy yet. They have a generous toe box good for thick socks. I am reluctant to take these off they are so comfortable.

Actually placed order later in the day and was advised they would arrive in 2 days. Sure enough they arrived the next morning. Fantastic service.

I haven't gotten much use out of this shoe yet, but from what I have experienced, this shoe amazes me. The padding seems perfect and the shoe is very light feeling, but doesn't feel or appear to be shoddily made in any way on inspection. When putting them on the first few times I worried that the heel cup was too lose, but now I don't notice it, and in fact it almost feels better. Toe and joint support is strong. The laces feel loose, but I've never had a problem keeping the shoe snugly strapped to my feet. I will be putting it through the jogging paces soon, but I'll only update the review if it manages to pull a 180 and not live up to the hype.

A great shoe that is well-cushioned and instantly comfortable. I wear these all day for work and can keep them on into the evening. A big plus for me is they are made in the USA. I've been a Zappos' customer since 2005 and they have never let me down with their service.

Well, they are very comfortable and fit perfect, I recommend these shoes to anyone. However, the price is kind of high.

Like strapping pillows to your feet! These shoes offer great support and supreme comfort. To top it all off, they are made in the USA! Wish there were more USA, made choices like this.

The pair I received was oddly much larger and wider than the identical pair (same model, size and width) purchased last year.

Great shoes. I would recommend to anyone who had a problem with sweating feet in tennis shoes and wanted also great comfort. Don't understand why they have a white pair?

These shoes are very comfortable and much lighter than the earlier generations of the 990's. Delivery was fast and accurate.

My 2nd pair. Excellent for narrow feet, great support. The shoe holds up better that the insoles, so new insoles can double the shoe life.

For the past 10 years I bought running shoes made in a foreign county. My feet hurt, I could not wait to take them off. my wife suggested New Balance (USA Made). Comfort and stability for my feed, like wearing slippers. Hate to take them off, wife says I cannot wear them to bed. Great shoes try them!

I have always loved the New Balance, but on this pair they overdid the "Made in the USA" theme.

Excellent quality, very comfortable and visually very elegant. These are the best looking New Balance I have ever owned. Aside from the Made in USA text in the front of the tongue I wouldn't change a thing. Its cool that they are US made but it looks huge and frankly detracts from the overall aesthetic of the sneaker. Wide and long enough for my size 12 and 1/2 foot. I have two pairs of the gray model but these are the best looking ones. If Steve Jobs uses this model I am sure it has to do with it's quality and design.

This is my sixth pair of this model NB shoe. They fit perfectly (I have narrow feet) and they are very comfortable during my fast walking regime. They are great shoes!

My son has flat feet and gets shin splints when he runs. These shoes are great for him. No complaints since he's been running in them.

All I have worn for the last 10 years are New Balance 993's. They are the most comfortable, longest lasting shoes I have ever owned. So for Christmas I decided to buy my dad a pair. He loves them as much as I do.

Love the shoe, price and Zappos customer service. The shoe runs a half size smaller, and slightly wider than Asics.

Shipped fast! Really wonderful service. We ordered the wrong size first and then realized after we placed the order. Zappos was so helpful and they fixed it immediately and shipped them out within 2-3 days. Very happy with the order; it is so hard to find wide shoes!
