Best sneakers on the market, hands down. I've bought 3 pairs of these over the past 6 years (they last a long time). Every time they have been a perfect fit and are very comfortable. You will not regret getting these shoes.

Been buying New Balance for 20 years; this is one of their better shoes. When I received this shoe on Friday, Saturday power walked 5 miles. No problem.

I have been wearing these shoes for about five years now, and have never found anything better, or as good. I keep a pair for work, and one for working out. These get my highest recommendations!

Outstanding walking shoe for travelers with wide feet. I bought them for a European trip that included a lot of walking in UK, Netherlands, France and Italy. They held up and kept my feet very happy and not sore at all from walking in the summer heat.

Excellent! One of the best shoes available. Great stability and a clean look. I am so glad that NB has keep the basic design of the 990 series. I buy them a half size larger than my normal size.

I called my former supplier to order a shoe I had ordered before. The receptionist forwarded me to the Men's Department but no one answered after numerous rings. I tried again; same problem. I tried Zappos on the Internet for the first time. They had my shoe, my size, no shipping fees! They were delivered on time, the correct shoe, the correct size. Will order from Zappos again!

My husband has plantar fasciitis and I have had podiatrist recommend New Balance. My husband never owned a pair and I wasn't sure of his size in this bran. I ordered the 13M and they were perfect. Zappos made ordering, tracking and delivery very easy. I especially like the free returns if something doesn't fit as expected. I will definitely shop Zappos again.

Very comfortable shoe. I take a 14 wide and this shoe seems to be quite accurate in the size. I have always had a problem in finding shoes that fit right and I am happy with these. Its arch support is insignificant, but I always use inserts so that was no problem. The inserts fit in quite well even with the original insole.

Bought for my husband at the recommendation of our son who wears no other shoe for working out. They both said this is a very comfortable shoe, although my husband wears them for walking around and this looks better than a stark white shoe with jeans.

I've been running off and on for over 15 years and this is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned or even tried on. It's a shoe you'll hate to take off! I've started buying them for my relatives for Christmas presents because everyone should know what it feels like to have such an amazing shoe!

This shoe is terrific. I have never spent this much on a pair of athletic shoes. I wear them all the time. They look dressy with a pair of khakis or jeans and casual with shorts. The support and comfort have help to take stress off my bad knees. If you can get past the price, you will not be disappointed.

The quintessential all American running shoe! Hands down and this is the best New Balance shoe money can buy! Great looks and extremely comfortable. I am flat footed and so I wish there was more arch support but I will buy inserts and that's how much I love this shoe!

These shoes were recommended to me by my orthodics doctor. They have turned out to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have worn,not the most stylish though. I had ankle surgery a few months ago and these are the only shoes that have provided me with the needed arch support and motion control.

I have been running and jogging in this basic shoe for over 20 years. Its previous designs were heavier and I liked that because of the better and longer lasting cushioning. The delivery and service at Zappos was, as usual, 5 stars!!

I owned a pair of 992s and now purchased the 993s. They are by far the best casual, kick-around, daily wear shoes I have ever had. Love them! I work out in them, too. I am not a runner, so my opinion of them as a running shoe would have no value. A lot of people look at the price of these and think it's too much, but my first pair lasted about 3 times longer than other shoes that I had. Plus the 993s seem to look great much longer, too. I highly recommend the 993s. There is just something that New Balance has done with this line that makes them very special, durable, comfortable, and an over-all great shoe!
