Lakai Manchester Selects... I've had these shoes for 3 weeks now; they've already started to wear down most of the outsole to where I'm almost completely to the suede. Keep in mind I do a LOT of flip tricks, mainly Tre Flios, Big Flips, Fakie Tre flips, varials, Switch Tre flips, and so on. These shoes look GREAT at first, but one you skate then for a week or so, lose their luster. I do highly recommend these shoes though. The grip is STILL IN ALMOST NEW SHAPE! Buy these shoes, their great!

Looks good - won't last long - Bought for my son, he wore 3 weeks and it started falling apart.

Attractive and comfortable, but do not last! This shoe is very nice looking and comfortable. True to size, fits very well overall. Unfortunately, the Lakai symbol has already come off of the left shoe, after only a week's time!

I purchased the Blue Lakai Manchester selects in May of 2010, I got them 2 days after my order. I started wearing them the day I got them, And Within 2 weeks they were dirty and starting to rip everywhere. By the end of June you couldn't even tell the shoe's were ever blue. By the end of July every single lace had ripped on the left shoe and I had to replace them. Around mid August I started to notice the heel area on the bottom of the shoes start to rip off, Now that it's November the back's of both shoes have worn down and water just comes on in, There are huge holes in the bottoms of the shoes now, I've tried duct taping them back together but I've had no luck. I don't skateboard, But if I did I wouldn't imagine these lasting anymore than a month since I was able to destroy them in 5 just walking! Do not buy these!

The Lakai Manchesters are supra cool looking but there is no comfort and I skated in these for the first time and the laces ripped and there falling apart but if you don't skate these are perfect for you!

Rips, I have had these shoes for about two weeks and have not skated in them at all. They are horrible. I have gotten small rips in the bottom. I don't recommend.

These shoes rock! They took a day or two to break in but when they did they remain very comfortable. They look very stylish and are great for skating.

I ordered these shoes for my 26 year old son, he perused long and hard and chose this color. They look great and are comfortable. He has ordered this brand before and they run true to size and are very sporty and clean looking in a colorful way.

Eye catching design without being too flashy. Laces can be put through holes or loops inside the shoes for a cleaner look. Great to wear untied and slip-on.

I bought this same model last year and really liked it so I bought it again. It seems they made some changes and I'm disappointed. The tongue had less padding and no elastic to keep it centered. the sole is different and less comfortable. I won't buy this shoe again.

These are great looking shoes. They are exactly as pictured. The sizing is accurate. The fit is comfortable!

Quality stitching and construction. Good sole and support. Great vulcanizing around the edging. Seems like this a weak link in shoes that are of this style and type of rubber.

My boys really like this brand. So do I cos they are cheaper than Vans. Also better quality andnhas a touch more arch support than Vans too. Sadly Lakai don't make half sizes after size 12 so both my boy are missing out now as they are 12.5. Tried both the 12 and 13 (was hopeful) but they ran true to size and were too small / big respectively.

Excellent shoe. A nice low profile look. It's very comfortable, with enough padding in the sole and mid, but without being bulky. Fits true to size.

You really can't go wrong with Lakai. I dig these shoes, great for whatever you choose to utilize them for, and obviously very well made for skateboarding, and I'm pretty hard on shoes. These are holding up.

Awesome shoe. I can't believe I ever stopped wearing Lakais. True to fit. Great vulcanized sole combined with cushioning that other skate shoe companies wish they could duplicate. Durable materials. Great style - understated, not hipstery at all... just a great shoe.

I've owned several pairs of Lakais, but I'm wearing my first set of Manchesters right now. Extra padding around the ankle and tongue, along with some perforations in the toe area make them extra-comfortable right out of the box. They don't break in as fast as Vans, but they last longer. They also look really good. No skate shoe will last particularly long if you're skating a lot, but Lakais have been the most durable of the skate shoes I've tried, and the Manchester seems as sturdy as the others (the differences between models are fairly minimal).

I bought them in all the available colors. They are good looking casual shoes and the are actually functional in that I skate board in them.

These are such a good skate shoes day in and day out. With so many gimmicky models out these days, the Manchester stays true to the basic need for a tough suede upper and a grippy vulc sole. They do not have some flavor of the month pro name on them, so the price is down to earth and there are always a ton of colorways. The quality seems to have quietly improved over the years (which is the opposite of what I can say about Janoskis).

Great shoe, very comfortable. Somewhat shorter and narrower than I would expect from sizes marked, as noted by other reviewers. Laces slightly on the short side.

These are great shoes that are very comfortable. I normally wear 9 but purchased a pair from brick and mortar in 9½ (only one left). I then bought two more pairs on Zappos. The black and the red pair. The red pair is very cool. I use foaming bubbles to clean the white rubber soles, it works great and makes the shoes look a lot better.

Felt a bit snug and tight at first but they broke in quickly. The first day I wore them was walking all day at Disney World and my feet felt fine that night. I skated in them too and they are a great skate shoe. My first Lakais but not my last, happy with them.
