Husband’s 9M foot is thin so any shoe tends to be loose. The Naot Velcro straps help make the fit snug although frankly they could be shorter for his unusual foot configuration. However the look & the comfort outweigh that issue. He loves them. The leather is very soft and footbed is wonderful. The look he wanted was to have a more dressy, masculine sandal and these are perfect!

Ive hiked into the Grand Canyon and up Half Dome (twice) in Yosemite with these. They are very lightweight but give decent ankle support and provide protection from muddy, wet areas. VERY comfortable out of the box. They seemed a bit small and narrow to me so I had to up one size and get the Wide version but once I got the right fit it was perfect. As someone else said I'll keep buying these as long as they keep making them. Im on my second pair. The first I wore the soles right down but I put lots of miles in them so no complaints.

I wear these hikers for work. They have great cushion, lightweight and easy on my feet. I owned my first pair for 3 years before they finally separated. Keep in mind I work around water all day. These hikers are highly recommended!

I purchased this boot for my Father for Father's Day. He's a farmer and he doesn't wear anything but boots. So all his other boots he wear out as well as work. So I purchased these for him to wear out and he loved them. It put a smile on his face and it let me knew I made a great choice.

This is my third pair of Chocoruas. My second pair has such a worn-down sole profile, that I started “surfing” on trails.
The first two pairs were identical; I wear a men’s 8.5 and that was perfect the first two pairs. Now, I had to send back the 8.5s and re-order for a size 9 and the widest width to get the prior fit.
Overall, these boots are awesome. My first two pairs took me through 11 years of Alaska bush living (mit winter boots), sled dogs mushing, etc. Love them!

false advertising, goretex and timberdry is mixed, for this boot there is no more goretex but timberdry. timberdry is almost same as goretex but just build differently
