I have had a pair of these for several years and they are still in good condition. The nicest thing about them is the extensive foot cushioning built into the sole not added as an afterthought. This is important to someone with a new hip and old knees! The only problem is that my feet have grown with advancing years and I decided to replace them with a half size larger. Unfortunately I mis-read the label and ordered the same size again! The size I now want is on back-order so I am now expecting delivery today of Timberline white ledge in my new size.

I gave these boots as a gift. The first pair that arrived were defective - the boots were different shades of brown obviously each from a different dye lot. Called customer service and they were excellent at remedying the situation. UPS picked up the boots for free return the next morning and a new pair was shipped 2 day express. The second pair are fine and the person likes them a lot.

This purchase was for my husband who is very picky and fully thought I'd have to return them. He liked them right out of the box, said they fit great. They look very nice. Very happy with them!

Timberland Chocorua Trail Mid Waterproof: Men's Size 14, Width: EE - Wide Dark Brown Full-Grain. I ordered a pair because of the many reviews indicating it was a wide shoe. I was concerned when I received the first pair because they appeared to have small scuff marks and the leather appeared mildly broken-in. I immediately called Zappos to inform them so they would note on my account that I didn’t damage the shoes. Zappos customer service was great! I received a second pair. With a second pair to compare, I realized that this type of leather shows rub-marks very easily. It’s just a characteristic of this type of waterproof leather and it appears to be a good quality leather. The second pair also appeared to have a slightly broken-in appearance and it appears this is due to the supple nature of the waterproof leather. Regarding size and fit, both pairs I received from Zappos were marked with the exact same product codes and sizes yet the second pair fit noticeably tighter than the first, to the point that I could not wear the second pair. I really like the comfort and fit of the first pair I had received but be aware that the fit of this boot can vary significantly. You may need to order a second pair to compare. About The Reviewer: I’m 70 years old, five foot ten inches, and 160 pounds. I use professionally made arch supports and I add a flat foam insole on top of my orthidic for extra comfort, which forces me to buy larger sizes and widths. I typically buy a men's 14 wide, which can sometimes feel tight around the ball of my foot depending on the shoe. I like a shoe with a large toe box.

Very nice boot but it is very narrow and hard. I tried to wear it around the house to break it in...but it was very uncomfortable.

These shoes were a gift for a friend. He especially loved the grip of the tread.

I ordered the 11.5 first as I had enjoyed the same item for 3 years. They were a little tight so I ordered a 12 and they fit perfectly. Hope this model is still available in 3 years when I need a new pair. Great product.

My husband is on his 4th pair of these work boots. He is 6’ 8” and wears a size 15 shoe. So hard to find that size- and in a pair he likes!! These are comfortable, supportive, easy wearing, lighter weight (than most in size 15) and he has a bad back; so all is a factor in his shoes. Also; they meet my criteria for decent looking. He manages a feedlot and we farm and ranch. So style and durability are needed! They do seam to wear for about a year.. then start to break down; keep in mind, he’s is hard on his shoes and wears them everyday! And being the cost doesn’t break the bank. Well worth it. Thanks.

I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 in a wide. These fit in a 10 1/2 wide, so I think they run small. A Georgia small batch boot in a 10 was way too big. Sizes on shoes are all over the map anymore. Other than that, they seem to be good quality, but at this point, they're just breaking in. They may be a bit warm, but I prefer boots without all the padding , because my feet get hot. A plain leather lining, no goretex is my preference unless I'm in snow all day.
