Merrells are great - These shoes fit like a glove and look great.... Very comfortable, great arch support! I have many foot issues, Plantar Facia and achielles tendon injury and need supportive shoes. Merrells fit the bill. I generally wear a size 9.5 but buy a 10 in Merrell and always have a great fit.

One of Merrell's greatest hits! I have a brown and black non stretch version of the Spire which I've worn to death, so I was very happy to see that Zappos now carries at least this one version (alas, available only in black) this year. They fit like a glove, true to size, and the foot bed is oh-so-comfy. They are best for cold weather, as they do cover the whole foot. Heartily recommended!

Merrell's a favorite! I bought these shoes for a trip to London, where I expected to be doing a great deal of walking. Excellent Merrell quality as usual, extremely comfortable, true to size (maybe a little small for hard to fit feet) but I am an 8.5 and these were perfect. No "break-in" time at all - felt good right from the start. The "stretchy" fabric around the top makes it very comfortable, but they do need a shoe horn to get on easily (Merrell should include one in the box)! Looks nice under dress pants or jeans. Not sure there is any room for an orthotic if needed. Would buy again.

Great shoe, great fit, love it! I bought this shoe a couple of days before my trip to Europe. I needed a shoe that was comfortable yet high enough for my pants that are a little longer (this heal is 1.5 inches high). This shoe is Fantastic! I bought 2 different Merrell shoes planning on keeping only 1 pair. I loved them so much I kept them both. This shoe is great looking and looks good with jeans and dress slacks. I never had any problem with my feet and I did a ton of walking on cobble stone roads and sidewalks. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Great shoes - I had these same shoes a few years ago and loved them. They are still a good shoe. Very comfortable and they have a European look which I like.

Best walking shoe ever! This is one of the best shoes I have ever worn rather for working and being on my feet all day, or walking on cobble stones in Italy. I hope you continue to carry the shoe.

Love this shoe!!! A really sharp shoe that's also extremely comfy & versatile. Looks good with jeans or dressy slacks.

Merrell's Spire Stretch Shoe - This shoe has very good arch support and all over support for your foot. I work on hard surfaces and climb a lot of hard surface steps and my feet feel comfortable all of the time. This shoe also allows for you to put in your own orthotic which I use. This is the second pair I've purchased. Girls - you can shop till you drop in these!

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I originally bought this shoe at a department store in a size 6. I ordered a size 6 from you and it was too tight. I then ordered another size 6 and a 6.5 and the second size 6 fit perfectly. As you know, sometimes when they cut the pattern it can be a little too small or too large. This pair fits perfect.

Very comfortable! I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I bought them for work and at the end of a long day my feet do not hurt anymore as they used to. My back seems to hurt less also. They were a bit tight at the beginning, but after a wearing them a couple times they fit perfectly. They also clean up very nicely.

Awesome! I bought this shoe so that I'd have a comfortable shoe to stand around in all day, but be professional looking. This did exactly what I wanted it for. Excellent comfort, great looking, and fast shipment. Only con was that it took a little while to feel comfortable enough just to slip on and off, but after a few days of wearing it all the time, that was taken care of :D

A very comfortable shoe - This is my second pair of Spire Stretch in black. The first pair I bought at a shoe store and paid more than what Zappos charged (no tax or shipping either at Zappos). I am a teacher, and I am on my feet all day long. Since I bought these shoes, my feet feel as good at the end of the day as they do at the beginning. It took a week for the shoes to feel great. I wear them every day and absolutely love them. I wish they came in brown as well, but they do not. Can't go wrong with these shoes.

Start walking... I just grabbed these shoes out of my closet, slipped them on, and started out. They were comfortable for a whole day of being on my feet on concrete. I have trouble with my back and have to wear good shoes, especially on concrete. I give them high marks!

Great for 14 hour work days! I am a physical therapist, working long hours. These shoes are as comfortable as a pair of sneakers, and they give such a professional look.

Runs snug - Usually wear a 10 in merrells but this one needed a 10.5 because of the snug band around the top of the shoe. Great looking dress shoe for pants.

Merrell - This shoe is fantastic! Very comfortable. It is more of a casual shoe, but can be worn with slacks as well.
