Others have written that these shoes were too tight. I found them relatively easy to put on. The problem was that after wearing them for a short time, they were too loose. They are a casual shoe, but I wore them with a suit and longer pants and they weren't too bad looking.

I love Merrell's normally, and have several pairs of differing styles. But I found this shoe impossible to even try on once I had it - it's incredibly narrow at the opening, and I'm not a contortionist. My foot wasn't going in there no way, no how. A shame, because I really liked how it looks, but it's being returned for another Merrell, perhaps the Eden Moc.

Great support, very comfortable if you\'re standing still (although it is pretty hard to get on). I really wanted to keep these, but the leather seemed very stuff and the way it bent across the top middle of the shoe concerned me. I worried that it would hurt my foot there and also look bad with a giant crease.

Getting my foot into these shoes without a shoe horn was very difficult with socks or nylons on. Too bad. Decided to return.

This shoe was so difficult to put on; I had to return it. It is extremely tight by the band surrounding the opening, and almost impossible to put on. Also, it isn't as attractive as I'd hoped. I usually like Merrell shoes.

Love the way they look but the shoe is very narrow. I have another pair of shoes from Merrell and it is not as narrow. I took them into have them stretched and they are moderately tolerable now. I bought them for a trip to Las Vegas, that was a miserable night. I thought they would give after a little while. I was wrong. I wish I hadn't worn them so I could send them back.

My go-to trade show shoes. Great for travel. I can walk all day in these. This is my second pair. Not fashionable but when your feet hurt, you don't care. Great with jeans and trousers.

Very comfortable shoe, classic style, good quality leather, very easy to clean, the sole is very durable, arch support very reliable. I like the brand because all the Merrill shoes that I have are very comfortable to walk.

this is my second pair of the exact same shoe. I wore out the first pair after many years of use. Good shoe. Good support. Can be on your feet all day long in these shoes.

I love this shoe! Its my third pair! You can put them on right out of the box and wear them all day. I've only found this shoes at zappos so order up!!!

I have worn this shoe for years and it continues to be the workhorse of my wardrobe. It is narrow and I do need a shoehorn to get it on, but the arch support is great and the way it hugs my foot gives me firm support for walking as fast as my legs can carry me. Never stop carrying this shoe, Zappos!

This is such an amazing shoe! As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day and these Merrells are so comfortable! They look great with jeans and black pants. The leather on the toe has worn more than I would have anticipated, which is the only negative.

Love them! This is my 10th pair. I wear them for work-10-15hr days 3-5 days a week. They last me about 6-8 months. They require no break-in time because of the soft heel. Very comfortable and true to size for me -a 7M Style- well they are not exceptionally fashionable but comfort is my biggest requirement. They do have a small heel that I like, but not too much that your feet are hurting at the end of the day, actually my feet feel just as good as the beginning of the day. Did I say I love them!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. This is my second pair of the same style! No other shoe delivers such comfort.

Bought these to help heal my plantar fasciitis. They are wonderful. Not for a wide foot & I must use a shoe horn to get them on, but they have excellent support.

An annual gift for my girlfriend. She's on her feet all day for her job and these are the most comfortable shoes we have found. Because of the price, we have tried many others, but we always return to these.

I absolutely love these shoes! I wore the Spire for several years until they quit making them. The stretch Spire is a bit more snug to get on, but holds my foot in better. Super comfortable cradled get my foot and the Q-form heel is fantastic. I have fibromyalgia and knee problems/surgery and these are as kind to my body as wearing sneakers. I highly recommend these shoes and wish I could get them in brown and grey. Appropriate look for the office, and the 9 medium fit my wide foot just fine.

I have been purchasing and wearing these shoes for many years. I always have at least 2 pairs, one for casual and one for more formal occasions. They are great! I've even bought them for my 90 year old mother who loves them.

Great shoes! I read the reviews before I ordered these shoes and was somewhat hesitant about ordering them due to some of the reviews. I AM SO THANKFUL I ordered them. They fit me like a glove and I ordered my size 8. I also think they are a very nice looking shoe and will wear them with jeans and dress pants. They are a very comfortable shoe...can't go wrong with this shoe! AND a huge shout out to Zappos for their speedy delivery and just being awesome. My No.1 FAVORITE shoe store!

The are very comfortable, the arc support is great. The are the perfect match for slacks. You can spend 8 hour walking, or simply in your feet all day long and still feel comfortable.
