Blue Encore Chill Stitch - I was specifically looking for a "dog walking shoe" that I would be able to slip on, even without socks, to take the dog for a walk. I needed something that was fully lined with fleece or fur. These Merrells are cozy, comfortable, warm and fully lined. I found the perfect shoe for my needs. Merrell Encore Chill Stitch - Absolutely love this shoe. I am a teacher so I am on my feet all day. I also have lunch/recess duty for 2hrs per day several days per week. These shoes are so comfortable and warm. I have not had cold feet yet and it has gotten VERY cold. Temps with highs in the teens and 20's and I stayed toasty warm. I am telling everyone about them. I also get lots of compliments on how cute they are. They go well with jeans and twills alike. These are well worth the money. LOVE THEM.

Warm, comfortable shoe - This was exactly what I was looking for. Snug on the heel without squishing my toes. My feet tend to sweat a bit, so I wear it with a light sock. Perfect for around the house, but study enough to wear out as well.

Not as good as last year's model - Fine, mostly like last year, but they should last more than one season and the stitching is some silly nod to Tyrolean style, which makes them look ridiculous. Back to solid black please -someone tell Merrell that they're design team needs to leave well enough alone. If it ain't broke, and it sells well, don't fix it. Still as comfortable, but needs softer/better arch support.

Merrell Encore Shoes - These shoes are great and very comfortable. They have good traction in the snow and are very warm. Zappos is the only way to order shoes. They have a great variety and SUPERB customer service. Plus FREE SHIPPING both ways!!! They can't be beat!!

Cozy and comfy - Perfect fit, snuggly warm and soft. I tried another slip on before I settled on this one, this one is marvelous.

Perfect airport cold weather travel shoe - I wanted a warm shoe that I could slip on & off fast to get thru airport security. This was perfect! It's okay with thin socks, not too snug, and definitely ok without any but I hate going barefoot. This is now my favorite Friday casual shoe with jeans for work. Coworkers have asked about the brand.

My winter 5AM to 9PM shoes - I love them so much because of their warmth. I usually wear wide shoes but these regular widths fit me to a tee!

Wow! I have plantar fasciitis and high arches. And anytime I wore anything other than "comfort shoes" (e.g., Birkenstock, Dansko/Sanita, Haflinger) for more than one day, I would be in pain! Well, these insoles did the trick. Now I can wear dress shoes and not be in pain. Wow. Shoes and not be in pain. Wow.
