These boots are a great investment! Not great for deep snow as they are only 10" tall or so, but definitely waterproof and very warm. Wide enough to tuck jeans into, but you would need flared legs to go around (boot cut will be too narrow). I wish they had the Dried Vanilla color available when I got these last January!

I bought this boot for my first real winter in Germany. We have had a ton of snow this year and I have walked more than a couple of miles in these and my feel have stayed warm and dry. As for the interior, I would still prefer the inside of a Merrell, but I have no complaints about the way these boots feel, my feet have never hurt. They have also held up exceedingly well. I occasionally brush the suede to help the knap stand up after I've gotten them wet. I would absolutely buy these boots again.

I bought these boots to wear to Canada in February, they keep my feet warm and dry. I walked in them through snow and slush. The only problem with them was when I initially put them on, they were very tight to get my foot in. I ordered a 7.5 and they were a good fit after the struggle. Heavy weight socks were out, but after spending 8 hours in them in Canada, my feet were warm all day. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

This boots are not flattering at all. Not only is it hard to get on, it is chunky and short. Not fit for deep snow. I returned these to Zappos because it was not going to cut it! Might as well get the Uggs.

These boots have to be the best purchase I made this winter. They are warm and extremely comfortable. It doesn’t even feel like I have boots on when I wear them, they are that comfortable. I can tackle snow banks without any problems. I highly recommend these boots!

I tried on many pairs of boots and these are awesome. I love the chocolate brown, they are well insulated, well made, and comfortable. I prefer a boot that doesn’t lace up. I’m confident that these boots will last for years. I personally do not like Uggs.

These boots are awesome. They fit great, are warm, waterproof, and look even better than I expected. I spent more than I was planning for boots in this category, but they are/have been sooo worth it. Tried other brands and styles. I wanted to like more, but I knew when I put these on they were the ones.

I love these boots. They are true to size... a half size smaller wouldn’t even pull on. These are great in the snow... good traction!... and in the city.

These boots are comfortable, but they are a little hard to get off and on--with no zipper, and they are a tiny bit short for me (I wear an 11). However, my feet have never been cold while wearing them. I would highly recommend them.

These boots are exactly what I have been looking for! Toasty warm, waterproof and pull-on. At first I was disappointed because I can’t wear a thick sock with these boots, but the insulated lining is so warm that a lighter weight sock works fine. I think these boots will serve me well through many Minnesota winters. And, as always, Zappos has the most amazing customer service and super fast delivery. Thanks, Zappos!

Nice boots; attractive, with a firm sole that grips well in snow. Could be a little warmer, but with a warm sock and activity, they’re fine. I ordered the browns and liked them so much (despite the price) that I also tried a pair of blacks. Had to send those back, though: they fit quite differently despite being the same size. (One pair rubbed up against my ankle and felt smaller than the marked size; the other did neither.) So, watch out for size variations.

I have thin Florida blood and needed a warm boot for a trip to Germany. These boots were AWESOME!! They are cute, comfortable, and most importantly - WARM!! I wore them everywhere - walking in the snow, sledding, around the city - and my feet never got cold. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone!

Love this boot! Just got it in today and it is great. I read the reviews that said the boot is a bit snug and to order up. I am regularly a 9 1/2 and I ordered at 10. I am so glad I did. Although the boot is a bit roomy in the toe without socks, I believe with socks it will be perfect. The boots are very comfortable, with the only stiffness being at the top of the ankle (think not super easy to walk up the stairs), but I believe with wear, this problem will be easily solved. I have large ankles and calves and have no problem tugging in skinny jeans and there is quite a bit of room at the top of this boot. I am unsure about the reviews saying this boot was snug in the calf circumference because I have a circumference of 16 at the thickest point of my calves and these boots fit great. Inside the boot is made of polartec (the same stuff used inside many North Face jackets) so it’s really warm as well. Thanks Pagatonia for a great boot and Zappos for great service!

I was dubious about how water proof these would be, but they’re amazing. Kept my feet warm and dry during a recent cold snap where temps were regularly near zero degrees Fahrenheit and there were 4-6 inches of snow on the ground. I like that I can wear them indoors without clomping around. Still a little slippery on ice, but a great, comfortable, good looking boot. I ordered my normal size and the fit was dead on.

These are wonderful boots. I took them out of the box to try them on and ended up wearing them around the house the entire day. Outside they keep your feet toasty warm, inside your feet are comfortable, not sweaty. Great arch support, great for walking. They are waterproof, too. They look great with jeans. I have narrow feet, but these fit me fine with socks. I recommend these boots highly.

Love my boots! Very snug to put on and take off the first few times. Fit close to the leg. Very warm and dry. I am very happy with my boots. I read other reviews that recommended ordering up one-half size larger than normal, and that does seem to be the best fit. So thank you also to the previous reviews!

Oh man, I love these boots. Very cute and stylish, warm and comfortable, and they fit me perfectly! Hooray! All of that being said, you should know that I have a narrowish foot and very slender ankles and calves. These boots are perfect on me. I can cut my (skinny leg) jeans into them, but I don't think anyone with thicker calves would be able to do the same and would probably find the boots to be too tight. Still, there are plenty of boots out there for wider feet/thicker calves (I know, because I have tried on many of them) so I rejoice the creation of the Patagonia Lugano. They feel very sturdy and well-made. I expect them to last for years. Oh, one last thing. I normally wear a size 6.5, but the size 7 in these fit like a glove.

I was a little disappointed with these boots to my dismay. I thought they looked like inexpensive knockoffs of Uggs. They didn't have the same comfortable footbed, but on the plus side, they were a cuter silhouette, less clunky. I wear a 7 1/2 and that's what I ordered. My foot slipped around and didn't stay in the heel. I felt for the price, it would have had a better insole and a nicer fleece lining on the outside of the boot. The suede is pretty and made to wear well. This boot has more pros than cons. I think if you are an Uggs fan, you should stick with Uggs. On the plus side, these are waterproof and Uggs are notorious for having water seep in. Nothing like dry, warm feet when shoveling, walking or hiking in the snow.

This is a great boot! The fit is perfect. I've worn this boot for hours on end and find it extremely comfortable. I was looking for a warm, stylish, water repellent boot and I could not be happier with my choice!

I've never written a review here and have shopped many times. This site is wonderful for selection, shipping practices, and customer service. This time I ordered the Lugano and it's very lovely, but it was too big. I got size 9, which is my norm. The stats say more than 80% people felt it was true to size and I do look at those stats when placing orders, so just thought I'd give my 2 cents in that for me they felt larger, both in length and width. Only about half size. I wanted to try to make them work, but I know leather will stretch anyway, and they already feel sloppy, so I'll just return and purchase smaller.

These Patagonia boots have given me back my childhood! Waterproof, extremely warm. I tested them yesterday, trudging through a park with over 8 inches of snow and subzero temps on my way home from work. Perfect! I felt like a kid again. I even forgot to take them off when I got home. I walk to and from work and am on my feet all day as a kindergarten teacher. They were very comfortable (and I have problem feet). Caution: They are narrow and a very close fit. Order a size up if you want wiggle room, but there is no need to wear thick socks. Order maybe 2 sizes up if you have wide feet. The shaft is also narrow. I have narrow feet and skinny calves so I love them. It's hard to find boots to fit my legs and feet. These are very well made and feel like they will last a lifetime. Patagonia has finally proven themselves in the shoe department. Way more stylish than the Uggs everyone else is wearing. Zappos: Upgraded my shipping for free, fast delivery. Perfect.

These are the best pair of winter boots that I have ever worn. They are extremely comfortable; the day after I bought them I wore them to an outdoor college football game and had no problem being on my feet literally all day. Normally in cold weather (30 and below) my feet get cold and uncomfortable quickly, but that never once happened with these boots despite temperatures being consistently below 30 degrees. They are stylish, comfortable, and extremely warm. They are even waterproof as advertised: I wore them sledding and had absolutely no problems. Plus, the tread pattern on the bottom made them extremely reliable in the snow. They fit close to the calf, so if you plan on tucking in jeans, these may not be the best boot for you. Overall, I love these boots and would highly recommend them to anyone who has to deal with a harsh winter. I look forward to more trips up north so I can have an excuse to wear these boots more often!

I just received these shoes today and love them. We just moved overseas and I really needed some waterproof boots. These boots are not only waterproof, but they are adorable. I searched and searched to find a pair of shoes that looked cut and feminine, but kept my feet warm. A harder job than you think! Buy these shoes, I love them!

Now is the time to check reviews. It's been hovering around zero for a week in ChiTown, and of course it's worse or tough in many areas. I have had these boots for 2 months. I tried 4 other boots, all with shearling lining. These are the warmest. The faux fur is hi-tech, no doubt. To me the real test for warmth is when I am not walking, like when sitting in a frozen car or in a drafty room, and stuck there for a while. They are definitely waterproof, and I have yet to have any problems with salt and chemicals all over the streets here. These boots also are the best for comfort, with a nice 'real' cushion insole, which you can also easily remove. Width is wide enough for a slightly wide foot. My foot does not look like a 9 in these, how nice. They also have a nice medium arch; it's not low or high, but it's excellent. (My arch is X-high.) They slip on very easily, and my foot stays put. The black is as dark and rich as any velvet. Worth the investment.

Love these boots! Wow! Best boot I've ever bought. Comfortable and warm. I have pinched nerves in between my toes, so I am careful on what shoes I buy. The toe box here is adequately roomy, and the arch support is quite good, so no pain. The first times putting them on can be tough until they loosen up a bit at the bend, but the sizing is correct.
