Let me start by saying I love zappos.com! I always have the best experience with zappos and I always get my shoes 2 days after they are ordered even if we order on a Sunday evening. I now have my husband hooked on zappos.com also. now as for my Patagonia boots, they were a great purchase. I bought them to wear to Idaho in the snow and they were everything they promised. they kept my feet very warm and very dry and they look pretty darn good too. I wore them on the plane so I would not have 2 pack them. coming home our flight was delayed then turned around mid air in canceled. I had them on for hours and hours and my feet never hurt!

These are my favorite snow boots. They're very comfortable, cute, and so far have proved to be waterproof. They aren't very bulky so you can wear your jeans over them if you prefer. I'd definitely recommend these. I usually wear a size 9 and a 9 in these fit perfectly.

I almost sent this back because I thought they were too stiff. I then put them on one more time and they were perfect. I didn't realize that by them being on my porch in the cold, they got very hard, but once they warmed up they were perfect. Great for the person who loves the look of an Ugg, but can't handle the lack of support. These have it all.

I absolutely love my boots. I was skeptical at first because I had never purchased any boots other than Uggs but I was ready for some more durable and yet fashionable shoes. These shoes rock. They are so comfortable and waterproof. And the soles have more tread than other boots but it isn't bulky. I ordered a size 8 which is around the size I normally wear. They were tight the first few times I slipped them on because they don't have a zipper but after that, they molded perfectly. They are very warm. I am so happy to be buying from Patagonia, a company dedicated to the planet and uses pig skin instead of mutated sheep. I really enjoy supporting such a good company.

I'll start with saying that I ordered 6 different pairs of expensive boots trying to find the perfect boot. I have a narrow, flat (no arches) size 10 (sometimes 10.5), foot. I was looking for something tall, warm, with arch support and ankle support and that was waterproof or waterproof-able. I did not find a perfect boot, but this boot was pretty close. Based on other reviews I ordered the 10.5. So I want to note that if you have a narrow foot you do not need to order up, the 10.5 was a little too long. The arch support was fair (none of the boots had great arch support) so I bought a full foot insert, put it under the removable footbed liner, and that took care of the extra room and arch issue. (I could not have the extra insole in if I had bought the 10.) Otherwise I love these boots. I've been wearing them with leggings and skirts and they have been great. I've climbed the high snow piles, splashed through slush and walked for ages. They are less clunky then Uggs and much more supportive for trekking about NYC. When you first try them on they don't bend well at the ankle, but that stiffness relaxed after a week of wear (I almost sent them back but I am so glad I kept them). In other words, I love these boots.

I love these boots! No problem getting them on. A little resistance, but you want that, to know it will fit! Snug around the outer arch, and good toe room. Best of all is the back of the boot - the heel is smooth, no seams. Doesn't rub or seemed pre-formed. Wore them out in the sleet storm in NY and stayed warm and comfy! Would love to have tried these first and went through four different pair of other boots first! Would love to get another pair in a different color.

Been wearing this for the tail end of the brief Texas winter here, and I have to say they have lived up to nearly all of my expectations. I was looking for a relatively attractive boot that is entirely waterproof and provides enough tread to actually work - I run a non-profit horseback riding program and stand around a lot in damp, cold conditions when I'm not riding or directly working with the horses. No water has gotten into these, they look good under or over jeans, and I have never once been let down by a Patagonia product. I will say that they can be tough to pull on and require socks. They are so warm that your feet will sweat with any amount of walking or working, and the sensation isn't very pleasant. They aren't like a shearling (Ugg-type) boot inside. Just as warm or warmer, but you'll need a decent pair of socks to go with. All said, I would buy them again!

These boots look great on the website and I was looking for something warm to wear to the hockey rink!
In a blindfolded test, you would not be able to tell the difference between this boot and a ski boot. As for the warmth? As I sit and type this review, my toes are colder in this boot than in my wool slippers.
On a positive note, the sole is heavy duty and the only attribute demonstrating Patagonia quality. To be specific, the footbed is narrow, the shaft tight to my shin, the lining is fleece instead of shearling.
Something else of note, I could not get either boot off by myself. That said, I'll stick with my Uggs. Thanks, Zappos, for the free return shipping...you are awesome!!!

Great boots! I agree with the other reviewers, the boot was difficult to put on. I almost returned them, but then put my hand inside the boot and just lightly bent and twisted the shank and heel and now the boot goes on and off without any difficulty. The boots fit very well and are quite warm. Highly recommend these, don't be discouraged when you first try to put your foot in the boot. Just wiggle the boots a few times and they'll fit great!

I like them once they are on, and they are the correct size, but you need to wrestle them on more than I would have expected.

loved the boot and it was exactly what I wanted and what was advertised! Great service and it arrived the next day and I didn't have to pay for shipping! This was all amazing because I was on my way to China and I couldn't find these boots anywhere and Patagonia couldn't get them to me in time and so they suggested Zappos and Zap they were here! I live in northwest Montana in the middle of nowhere. So I will definitely use Zappos again!

Very disappointed. I could not even get the boot on my foot! (And I have really diminutive feet.) They are nice-looking. Patagonia should consider a side zipper.

Exactly what I was looking for. These have become my favorite outside winter boots. Very warm and comfortable. The soles provide great traction. At first they are a little hard to get on because there is no zipper. As you wear them and they soften, it becomes easier. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, good traction winter boot. They are worth the price.

I am petite (5'4") and have a fairly athletic build due to tennis. I ordered this in a 7½ and had to return them. I could get my foot in, but could not get them off. I had to return as I was going to be traveling by air and they need to come off easily for airport security check points. I ordered the Sportos Kristen instead. The Zappos customer service team is the best and friendliest I have had the pleasure to work with. Thank you for your tremendous help!

I bought these boots in January. They were perfect for many miles of dog walking, keeping my feet dry throughout the snowy winter. This year, however, they have ceased to be waterproof - I just took out one of the footbeds and found moisture beneath it. Zappos is graciously accepting a return "as defective", despite their having been worn. I've given them just one star. I bought them for the waterproof quality, which failed. This is surprising for a Patagonia product, and I'd be willing to try another boot they make.

Works as a really cute rain boot. I walked through 6-7 inches of water in a storm and my feet stayed dried. The top of my jeans only got wet because I splashed around. I normally wear 6.5 or 7 so bought 7 and they fit well. I have no problem getting in and out of them.

Can't put my foot into the pretty boot. So frustrated. They are handsome boots and with Patagonia name I'm sure they are also functional. Too sad they have to go back. I made sure that they have wide enough calf width before I order boots with no zippers, but the entry point at ankle is too narrow for me to get my foot in. To make sure they are not mis-labeled with wrong size, I took out the insoles to match with my feet, and they do match.

Perfect! I will wear these every day this winter. Great for work, for walking in the rain and snow, for going out at night. They are cute, true to size, warm and truly waterproof.

These boots are impossible to get on! Too narrow for your foot to get through at the ankle, even a foot 2 sizes smaller (I had my daughter try to get her foot in). Not a fan - back to Zappos they go.

I ordered half a size up from my dress shoe size which worked well. The grey is a little bluer than I would have liked, but they still look good. Can't decide if I want to keep them, but if I knew we were in store for another winter like last year, I definitely would.

Cute and durable. I get complements all the time. Also, Patagonia uses recycled materials and does not use sweatshops.

The first thing I did with this shoe when I received it was pour water over it and I was very pleased to find that it was truly waterproof. It's a wonderful mix of substance and style. Felt a little tight at first but I eventually broke it in. I'm a petite girl so my calves weren't wide enough to fit the upper portion of the boots but other than that, I recommend them. I can't wait to use it for winter and waiting to see how long these last. They seem pretty sturdy.

It is difficult to get your foot into these boots if you have high arches. Also, these boots are waterproof, so your feet won't breathe and will get sweaty. I also do not find them very warm.

Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my foot into these. My instep must be too high for this boot. Other than that, they had more of blueish tint to them in color...not as charcoal gray as the picture depicts.
