I bought these Jungle Mocs by Merrell since I have a pair of similar ones I wear during the cold winter weather and wanted something to wear the rest of the year. These shoes are comfortable and great since they slip right on. They are supposed to be waterproof but this past weekend, while in the Catskills during endless days and hours of rain these shoes finally leaked. I can't really fault them since the ground was saturated and I had already been walking for over a 1/2 hour. During normal wear in a storm I would say they are waterproof but in extreme rain situations they weren't. That being said, I still love them as they have a nice fit and look OK too.

Merrell Moc -
I love the look of the Merrell Moc and I feel it is a well constructed shoe. The only problem I had with it is after wearing them for a short time I felt a pinch at the top (not the toe, the top of the shoe). I had worn the shoes outside, so I could not return them, my bad.

Although I can find cute looking shoes, the comfort of these totally over-ride the heavy look. I have three pairs and soon will be ordering same brand different style. GREAT for standing all day at work.

Not the prettiest thing, but a foot saver!
I feel like Merrell changed their design somewhat, because my regular 9.5 feels larger than the 9 and I certainly can't wear a 9, that's why my overall score is low.

This is a great answer to slushy, snowy, messy weather. It's warm and can take the mess in stride. Slightly on the short side but not overly so. A true medium width; socks fit nicely inside.

Shoes are very nice but just not a good fit for my feet. Felt like every time I took a step, my heel was slipping back and forth in the shoes which made my walking unstable. I have tough feet to fit, these probably are fine for the majority of buyers, just not for me!

Used to have the same style from Merrell many years ago which was super comfortable. They wore out and decided to get new ones. Not comfortable at all, very hard feeling when you walk. Not much cushion at all.

The sizing in length and width seemed very good but the side backs dug into my ankle bone and hurt before I even tried walking in the shoe. It's being returned!

Fit is good, comfortable shoe. The problem is the color of the shoe is light, which I like, but they arrived looking worn. Faded dirty marks on several points both shoes, toe of left shoe with suede nap scrubbed up & worn looking. Like someone worked hard at removing stains.
The upper has some odd looking waves or ridges. Wondering if the shoe got very wet and then dried.
I'm sure any shoe I buy will not stay looking new forever, but I expect it to start out looking new.

This is probably an awesome show. Seems well made. Unfortunately, the size 9 is too long and wide for me. Couldn't keep them on while walking. I have another similar Merrell which is 8.5 from 20 years ago, which has since felt too short. Perhaps I will order this in 8.5.

I ordered these to replace a pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs (also gunsmoke color) that are 5 years old and showing their wear. The shoes I received were grey, not chocolate brown as shown on the box and website. I would have kept them, but I already have a grey pair.

I am a true 8. These were tight all over and short. Too much arch support for me & not in good place for me. Only can wear a very thin sock, so not versatile for sport. Will try 8.5w.

I've worn my jungle moc's several times. I noticed the shoe rubs against my (out side rt) ankle and the toe curls up (too high) in the front. I also noticed my right shoe feels as though it leans inward. I have been purchasing these shoes over 10 yrs and the quality is slow deminishing.

Shoes felt nice on my feet and seemed to be well made. The width of the shoe was nice and didn't bother my bunionette. However, the portion of leather coming up around the heel was too tall, or the bed of the shoe was too deep. It rubbed on my ankle bone and was uncomfortable. I tried adding a heel lift but it still was not a good solution.
