I love these shoes because they give me great support. I take the insoles out and put in my orthotics. I walk three miles a day and these shoes make that possible for me. LDM

The shoes were very, very narrow; toes through I'm very disappointed in manufacturer. Thank you Zappos for your excellent and efficient return policy.

My husband has a pair of these shoes in men's and swears by them. I tried walking in them around the house and they seemed comfy. However, my first time on a short walk with them, the inside of the top of the shoe rubbed my ankle raw near my instep. The pigskin top of the shoe next to the elastic insert seems to curve inward slightly, just enough to rub my ankle when walking. I don't know if this can be remedied so that I can wear them.

I have wide feet, so I always get a 1/2 size larger, however, this shoe is true to size and the width was perfect. First pair of shoes that I didn't have to breakin.

My overall satisfaction was only 4 stars because I would have preferred a different color, but other than that these shoes are great in every respect. I got my size and width in black and that will work, but I would have preferred a natural shade in my size. Must be popular since they were not available.

Very comfortable shoes for everyday wear. I ordered these Merril slip on tennis shoes in a color called “Burlwood”, which looked like a warm rosy brown color online. In reality the color is more pinky- purple!!

I am a long time fan of the Merrell Women's Jungle Moc and have several pair. What is happening with Merrell ? I have recently ordered a 7.5 and an 8, and they feel to be exactly the same size with NONE of the previous arch support. Even with Zappos super easy returns, this product degradation and inconsistency with Merrell's is tiresome. Just hope my older pairs hold out.

It is very comfortable, and good fitting.

Fit and comfort perfect out of the box. Love the color, especially the fact that the sole/surrounding base of the shoe is a darker shade of green instead of the usual black. Allows me to feel a bit more stylish wearing the shoes I need for overall support.

I bought these shoes in size 5.5, and kept them. Wish I had exchange them for size 6 so I could wear them with socks. Anyway, the shoes are comfortable and offer wonderful support. I wore them for a whole day withtout a problem.

Have these in another color as my go to all around shoe. Recommended by my podiatrist for support. Wanted a pair to wear for casual outings and the green suede with a slightly darker green support, instead of black!, is perfect.

Excellent footwear

You know, the shoe is just great but for those of us with a high arch, the medium width is quite snug, even after maneuvering into the shoe. I've just returned my 9.5M and ordered another pair in wide, to see if that makes the shoe more comfortable, without me "stepping out" of it. Hope springs eternal. Sorry that a similar shoe with a zipper, as was available at LLBean until about 7 years ago, is not available anymore. I totally wore out two pair of those. The zipper made them easy to slip on! These Merrills are a struggle.

wonderful fit, 8.5 W and I'm ready for fall. great workmanship and quality material. the only difference I would make if I could is to add a touch of femininity. but I love 'em and love Zappos.

Love this shoe, have 3 pairs. I'm on my feet all day at work, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Nice color varieties, too. Highly recommend.

I am glad I didn’t listen to the size that was recommended to me which was a size 8.5 because I never wear that size. Typically I wear size 7.5-8 but mostly 8. I bought the olive greenish looking pair to match most clothing and I also have two pairs of olive green cropped pants. I also wear them with jeans.

I just love that this shoe comes in a wide width. The fit is awesome. I wear these shoes everyday when I take my dogs for a two mile walk. They are perfect for walking!

These shoes were comfortable from the beginning of putting them on. Size was true to fit. I'm very pleased.

The MEN’s version of this exact same shoe has much thicker forefoot padding inside (better bottom front foot cushion). I purchased my husband’s pair at REI and wore them a few times outside. The thick foot bed was like a 4x4 out walking on the gravel & rocky areas of our 5 acre property. The men’s version had greater traction & comfort than many of my KEEN hiking boots. I didn’t want to keep poaching his shoes, so I ordered the women’s version, but out of the box I knew the front-bottom-inside-cushion-foot-bed was much thinner. We did a side-by-side comparison walking on hardwood and both determined the women’s version of this shoe was wimpy compared to the male version. Same shoe exterior, style, tread, but built with less material to protect the female foot, yet same price. Buying the men’s version of this shoe.

Great fit! Burlwood color is interesting. Look to be pinkish, mauve, or beige depending on lighting, but still a neutral, so I can wear with a lot of my wardrobe :)
