Great, but not barefoot - I have these shoes in a brown suede. Very comfortable, I can put my orthotic in it easily. However, the mesh material in this version is uncomfortable to wear barefoot. I can only wear these with socks. Extremely lightweight and comfortable!

Breeze - Love, love, love these shoes! If you are looking for comfortable shoes that look great with jeans - these are your shoes. Perfect fit with no breaking in.

LOVE IT! Wonderful shoe. I needed something to wear in/out of the house on weekends, as I do chores indoors & outdoors. Wanted something BREATHABLE, that I could take on and off easily but that won't slip off on its own while I'm walking. And also something with padding for my bony, bony feet. These do all that.

The only shoe I wear to work - I am a Physical therapist that does home health,and this is the only shoe I wear to work. It is so comfortable and has a great arch support! I do not even need to wear my orthotics with this shoe!

Love these shoes - These shoes are great for traveling and walking all day long! I have bought them for the 3rd time to take on long travel trips. Perfect for packing, easy to wash, and attractive enough for shorts, pants, or long skirts.

Good arch support, light and airy - I only wear Merrell now because I need shoes that are durable and which have good arch support. I have medium to high arches so the arch of the shoe needs to come up to meet my foot arch. I remove the insoles to this shoe and put in my own Lynco orthotics and that does the trick, but this shoe alone has pretty good arch. I walk the dogs 4 miles a day so I can't be fooling around with shoes that don't support my feet. I highly recommend these to everyone...

More! More! More! What a wonderful shoe! I live in these shoes...they are great for walking, shopping or just "on your feet"...I wish I had them in every color...needless to say, they are not for dressing up...but for casual living...the best!

I LOVE these shoes! Started buying them about 5 years ago. I have one in every color (almost). I was waiting for the navy blue! Now all I'm missing is a brown! A denim color would be great. Very lightweight, very comfortable, great in any weather (well, in California), good for light workouts - excellent for post-surgery physical therapy (I know —I had a hip and a knee replaced during the last 2 years). I highly recommend them.

The best - This is the second pair of Encore Breeze that I have ordered. I have some lower back problems and knees that feel each step on hard flooring--this shoe helps both problems. They are unbelievably light (good for packing on trips), well- made, and infinitely comfortable. I wore them on a long vacation with lots of sightseeing, and they not only made walking so very much easier, but also they still look (one year later) practically new. If you need to be on your feet all day or just need a shoe that will absorb the impact of walking, these are for you. It's an amazing shoe for the price.

I Love Merrell's!! As a previous buyer (many times over!), I KNEW without trying on my most recent purchase that they would look and feel great. I was not disappointed-- they're the best in my book. Must also comment on the service. I could swear they were delivered "before" I ordered them --- that's how fast & great the Zappos service is!

Great Shoes - These are my fourth pair of Merrill's. They are definitely my "go to shoes" for comfort. They're light weight and wear and wear. My latest pair are great also although for some reason they ran a little large. This has been my first experience with Zappos and I am IMPRESSED! What service!!

This is my third pair of black Encore Breeze shoes...they are wonderful! I especially like them for travel as they are great walking shoes (and very lightweight).

Love my Merrell's!! These shoes are so comfortable that I forget that I have them on. I work in a salon and am on my feet s lot. I wear a 5.5, so I could never find these shoes in my size at any shoe or department store. I was so excited when I went to Zappos website and they had my size. I ordered them on a Wednesday and had them on Thursday. What service!! They fit perfectly. I ordered them in black and beige. Thanks Zappos.

Super comfort! I had several friends tell me about Merrells and that I was crazy not to try them...finally I did- now I'm waiting to get them in black to send to my daughter- keep hoping they'll tell me they are in her size! I'll order more in the future for sure!

I love these shoes! - I love shoes in general but now have to wear orthotics. The inner sole is removable and so I can fit in the inserts. I now have black, navy, grey, aqua and am now thinking about buying the wine color. I never thought I would get complements on my shoes when I had to the orthotics but they are noticed frequently.

The best shoe for the "on your feet all day" job - I am a critical care nurse and I work 12 hour+ shifts in a hospital. Standing, walking, and sometimes running during a 12 hour shift can be brutal on my legs and feet. Luckily, however, I discovered these shoes on Zappos. They're light-weight, well ventilated, and offer good arch support. Consequently, they've become as essential as my stethoscope in getting the job done. My shoes size varies from a 5, 5 1/2, or 6 depending on the manufacturer. With Zappos, I ordered all 3, chose the 5 1/2, and sent the other 2 pairs back. What other on-line shoe store let's you do that? Zappos is great. These shoes are amazing.

Merrell breeze a breeze to wear - Merrell makes great comfortable shoes. This shoe is light weight and very comfortable...great to take on a trip.

Fantastic! These are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I've found in the past decade. I have very valgus knees, with little or no remaining cartilage, complicated by surgery on both knees nearly 50 years ago, which makes me a poor candidate for knee replacements now. These shoes are attractive, give me the support and comfort I need, and best of all are easy to slip on and off for my work as a Pilates instructor.
