I love these trail shoes! They're light and flexible enough for pavement and grippy on the loose gravel. They are true to size for thin socks, so I'll get a half-size up for winter socks.

Yeah, they really are all that. I am not a heavy hiker; I am not much of a hiker at all. We have a marsh near our house and the ground is uneven. I work at some outdoor festivals where the ground is uneven, sometimes even dangerous at night. But most importantly I was planning a mildly strenuous trip to the Washington Olympic Peninsula and needed shoes with good tread. I am not experienced or practiced in the ways of regular exercise, shall we say. My friend has these and swore by them. But I am a skeptical shopper. So I ordered these in two sizes, as well as five other shoes of a similar genre. (Thanks, Zappos!) And I tried them all on and wore them all around the house for a couple weeks. The Siren Sport in my regular size fit right from the moment I put them on. Like gloves. And none of the others could compare, as far as my feet were concerned. So after all that, the others went back and these went in the suitcase to Washington state. They were great at the top of Hurricane Ridge, at 5,500 feet looking out over the world (and hardly broken in). They will be great at the events I do, and in the marsh. I am quite chuffed that I broke down and got them. They are well worth it!

Bought these shoes for my wife for walking on our treadmill. She typically walk four to six miles several day in any given week and needed a new comfortable pair of shoes. Never having owned a pair of Merrell shoes she didn't know what to expect, after her first walk with these shoes her comment was they are like walking on a cloud. Needless to say she loves these shoes.

Love this sport shoe. I walk on concrete at my job and this shoe helps me all day. Also at 60, my feet have grown and Zappos has sizes 10.5.

I love this shoe. I had my old Sirens for 5 years and wore them all through Italy. I always do may walking in these shoes. They totally support my food, keep me grounded and I can wear them 10 hours straight. This is by far the best shoe for day hikes, walking, comfort. I love the grey with the blue -- it's a cute shoe. These are going with me to Turkey and Crete along with my Keen Bali slip on sandals.

I bought these to do light hiking on a couple of upcoming trips. I took them out of the box and walked 2 miles without any blisters or discomfort. They feel very stable and provide good support. They were much lighter than the Patagonia hiking shoe I also tried. They are cut a bit low at the ankle which I like but if you're looking for more ankle support, you may want to try something else. I think these will be great for light hiking and walking the dog. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Excellent shoes for cross training. Great arch support and perfect width for wide feet. Look awesome too!

The Siren Sport is simply a fantastic shoe. it was extremely comfortable from the first time I wore it. I wear medium weight socks with it because I like a little extra cushion. Most importantly, I get compliments on them all of the time.

I would highly recommend Merrell Siren Sport. I got mine for a trip to Arizona and started using them the day after I got them. There was no break in time needed. They were immediately comfortable and were perfect for hiking in Arizona and for every day walking. These are my first pair of Merrell's and now I will buy no others; they are worth the money! And as always, Zappos is amazing - received my order in one day! Thank you Zappos and thank you Merrell!

Very well made and lightweight. I have a high arch, and my foot is wide through the ball of my foot. The wide wasn't available in all the colors, but I settled on the one with the pink accents, and they look great. They also feel like they are a part of my foot! Love them.

I wanted a pair of comfortable quality hiking shoes for a trip to Rocky Mt.National Park and I found them with these Merrell Siren Sports. They needed no break-in period, as they were comfortable right out of the box. I did need a half size larger than my normal size 6 shoe size. These shoes are light weight and extremely comfortable and they look good! I love them!

I love these and purchased a second pair. I have been having heel pain for not having correct support and these shoes gave me everything I need for wide foot and high arch.

I purchased the shoe a full size larger so that they would be comfortable wearing with wool socks. I always have to order a half size up in any tennis shoe anyway just to wear with a regular sock. The shoes are very comfortable and do not need any breaking in.

As with all my other Merrell shoes, these are extremely comfortable. I bought them to walk in but have also started wearing them to my boot camp exercise class. I would highly recommend them. I did have to return and get a 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear. Of course, that is easy with Zappos.

Very comfortable shoe. I have had a lot of foot trouble and these shoes meet all my needs. This is my third pair and I hope they don't discontinue them.

It's wonderful to find a size 10.5 shoe so I can finally have a hiking shoe that fits me. The shoe is lightweight and flexible and comfortable out of the box.

Typically I wear a medium width in Merrells. The medium width in the Siren Sport fits very tightly is painful to the pinched nerve in my foot. The wide width is super comfortable and my custom orthotic fits in them perfectly.

I was unsure how my girlfriend would like them but she absolutly loves them. She remarked that she felt like she was walking on air "as if I can fly." Also, she noted that they were true to size. She wants to keep them shiny and new but I cannot wait to take her out on some trails to beat them up and give them a real test run.

I love these shoes! They provide lots of support and are comfortable, too. This is my second pair, I just did not want to give up the first pair!

These shoes are really comfortable. They run true to size, and provide good support. I wore them all day the first day and had no issues. Two weeks later I walked seven miles on a hot day and they were great.

Bought them for summer hikes in the mountains. Very comfortable, great colors, no need to break them in before the trip.

Great shoes! I've been practically living in these shoes for the past week. They're great out on walks and around the house chasing a toddler and baby. They've helped correct my step and you can slide right in and out of them. Plus they look fabulous! Highly recommended. I love them!
