Great shoe-boot! I bought a second pair! The insole is a little stiff and my normal size in this style is a little big; but, I took care of the problem with a wool felt insole which improves the warmth on the bottom and should also mold over the original insole with time. Some reviews state that they are hard to tie. But I find them easier than other shoes because I just put my foot on my knee and the laces are right there-no bending over.

Great shoe - This shoe is a great everyday walking shoe! I have knee problems and my physical therapist thinks they are a great shoe. Very comfortable, even with orthotics. Feels a little wide at first, but I got used to it. I loved my New Balance, but these are even better! I did have to go a full size larger than I normally wear.

Great shoes - I have worn a version of this shoe for the past 8 years. I am on my feet all day at work (hospital) and these shoes as well as looking great keep my feet happy which then results in me a HAPPY person.

Comfortable to do anything with them on!!! Roomy, comfortable. I can wear them all day long without having problems with my leg!!!

Great walking shoe! I have arthritis in my knees and my podiatrist recommended Merrills. I can now power walk again! Love these, very comfortable.

Love this shoe!!! I walk an hour every day and have had foot pain. These shoes are the best and most comfortable I have ever had.

Alp walking - Needed a shoe to walk on leisurely mountain walking along with other hiking trails. Wore them for the first time on the trip and never had any problems with my feet. I have bunions and another problem on one foot, but these were great. Good grip on the trails and great support.

Comfort & utility - I bought these for hiking in the Canadian Rockies. I loved them so much I bought a second pair when I got home to put away for next summer. They are ventilated, but very sturdy. I like the look and now have one pair each of the 2 colors offered.

Great light hiking shoe - I use this shoe for hiking. It is extremely comfortable but for a normal width it seems a bit wide. Still there was no break in period, just put it on and started out. Not as cute as I would like but you can't have everything. Great all around shoe.

Fantastic! These shoes fit perfectly, look great, and are perfect for hiking trails. I hate to have to break shoes in and these were comfy right out of the box.

Love the shoe. I had to buy a half size larger, but re-ordered and have worn the right size on my hikes. You guys are great, all the way around!

Fantastic shoe for arch/heel support- plantar fasciitis - I LOVE these shoes. I have worn various forms of the Merrell Ventilator (they always get better) for 5 years now and wouldn't be without them. I had developed some pulled muscles in the arch and around my heel. Very painful and the doctors couldn't do anything other than recommend I stay off of it but the pain would always return. Then I found these shoes and no more pain!! As long as I wear these shoes when I am walking or doing anything strenuous, the foot problems don't return. Great support and comfortable the first time you put them on. I only wish others with "plantar fasciitis" knew the secret!!

Great shoes! A little wider than I expected - Very comfortable, good looking shoes. I wear them all the time. I have to wear heavier socks than normal because they are a little wider than I expected. All-in-all GREAT shoes. I will buy again (just narrower!).

I'm extremely pleased with Merrell's shoes, so far. These are my second pair and I plan to buy at least a couple more. Very comfortable; no breaking-in required. I can easily wear these shoes all day and my feet won't tire. I highly recommend them for looks and comfort. Excellent arch support.

I believe that if I have to break it in, it's the wrong shoe for me. This is a great shoe, comfortable the moment that I put it on. Cool and light, the perfect summer walking or light hiking shoe.

Wonderful support - I'm planning to hike in SE Asia this summer, and normal hiking makes my feet hot. I couldn't imagine finding a cool, comfortable and very supportive shoe. But these are the shoes. I put them on and hiked 2 miles, they were like old friends! I love them. The only con is the same one that I have for all Merrell shoes/boots; the shoes laces must be double tied. Small price to pay for these great shoes.

Great sneakers - These sneakers are probably the most comfortable sneakers I have ever purchased. They are true to size.

Great Walking Comfort - This shoe is very supportive and well-cushioned. Very similar to Merrell Moab which I wore frequently until peripheral neuropathy started getting better and my previously numb toes started hurting. I ordered these in a 1/2 size larger and have been very happy.

I loved them, I could tell they would be super comfortable but I need a half size larger. Will be ordering the half size up as soon as these are returned!

After reading others reviews of this shoe I decided to order. Comfort wise it isn't up to my standards. I kept the shoe cause I like the way it looks and hope that in different terrain it will be more suitable to what I was looking for.

I liked these shoes very much but I will return them for one reason only: the arch was a bit hard for me (which is my personal problem, as I need to recover from messed up feet) and not quite centered (closer to the heel), so it hurt to wear the shoes. That could be only me, but it might be helpful to you to know this. These are the pros: great fit (minus arch issue), soft and flexible, yet sturdy. I liked them a lot when I first tried them. I think that these shoes would be better for the fall.

I've been a Merrell hiking shoe wearer for 6 years now...my last pair finally gave out [after 6 years] so, I replaced them with the Moab Ventilator. It's a good shoe but, I still loved my last pair better [unsure the name but, they were 100% leather uppers and I cant find any Women's Merrell hiking shoes that are made with 100% leather uppers]. Definitely buy a size larger than your normal. Another thing that has changed...Merrells used to be true to size...not the case now. So, all in all this is a good comfortable shoe with lots of support.

I am on my feet 12+ hours a day at work. These shoes are comfortable with moderate support. The only drawback is that they do make your feet sweat (I'm assuming due to the fact they are waterproof). Definitely get a 1/2 size larger than usual. Overall, a good fit.

Very nice shoe, lightweight, nice colors. Unfortunately I need size wide which is not available. Too bad.

In general, these are great shoes. The only negative I found was that they are not as soft on the inside as I had hoped. I need to wear thick socks for optimal comfort.
