Great shoe! Comfortable right away. The only thing I like less than other Merrell's I've had is the I like the stretchy, no-tie thing, and these have regular laces. they're not too clunky and lightweight. The arch support was a little less than I wanted, so I stuck an insole in and presto!

One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They have been great for work and hiking. Good support with little added weight. The toe area cracked and tore away pretty early though. Will still buy another pair.

Moab Ventilator is really comfortable, true to size and has great arch support built in. However, they are not as breezy as you may think due to the suede design on the shoe. I would recommend this shoe if you are looking for a really comfortable fit.

Merrel Siren Sport is my highest recommendation, it is lighter in weight and the ventilation is top notch!

Almost perfect - These are my 'street walking' shoes - meaning I walk around the city - a lot! I wore out my old Merrells and these are my replacements. They're the right length but seem a bit large overall. Wish I could have gotten them in a more neutral color but, y'know, they'll be just fine for the next year of 'street walking,' plus they are VERY comfortable.

Almost perfect. The only problem I'm having with these shoes is in the heel area. The rest of the shoe is wonderful. I've had this problem with previous pairs of Merrell shoes - the fabric in the heel area wears very, very quickly and ends up tearing/fraying way before its time. It also seems as if the area is "breaking down" and getting lumpy. Rather like if I had worn them without my feet totally inserted - which I would never do! My last pair did the same thing, but I thought it was just a one-time problem. I should point out that this doesn't happen with any of my other shoes, so I'm pretty sure it's not something I'm doing. Although I love the look of their shoes, it appears I will have to try another brand.

The shoe looks great but did not have enough arch support. My foot tires too easily in it.

Fit my orthotics - Okay, so I am at a point in my life where I can only wear shoes that fit my orthotics. These do, and they don't squeeze my bunions. Went hiking in New Mexico 3 times in one week and no blisters – woo hoo! Only issue would be that one day I got some pebbles in my shoe because they are low. I would think for winter snow stuff I would need a mid or higher ankle boot.

Okay but not great - I don't like these as much as the "mesa ventilator" they are replacing. These are not quite as lightweight or flexible, just more shoe, a bit bulkier. Tongue and top of shoe bulky and a bit uncomfortable at first. They get wet easily, but also dry quickly. Probably best for dry environments. Definitely a summer shoe for those of us who live in the north. Serviceable, but not as good as old design. When compared with my old mesa's you can see and feel the shoe is heavier and bigger.

Good for long walks - Good in both outdoor rural walking areas & on more uneven city surfaces.

Its a good looking shoe. A bit heavy. I'm normally a size 7M. Based on the reviews, I ordered half a size up, but sadly, still too small. My outer toes hit the side wall of the shoe - not what you want when hiking. These are going back.

Order 1/2 size larger. Wide in toe area and ankle. So, if you normally take a narrow size, these might not work for you. Felt like a sneaker, not a low hiking shoe which is what I was looking for.

These just weren't quite what I expected. I knew immediately upon putting them on that they weren't going to work. If they don't feel like pillows on my feet I don't want them. I need shoes for work and these just didn't fit the bill. Maybe they would be good for hiking but not for every day comfort.

I like these shoes because they were so comfortable. They were hard to break in, but they did not wear well. I have had them less than a year and the leather pieces are pulling away from the shoes and the stitching is blowing out. I am super disappointed. For the price these shoes should last. The soles look brand new, but the uppers just cannot take wear. I only hiked in them a few times. I mostly wear these at the office! I have worn Merrells for years, but I will not buy these again.

These are a very stylish looking walking shoe. They are not, however, breathable or ventilated, which was my main reason for purchasing them. The mesh outer has thick padding on the inside (unlike the Merrell Siren Song/Ventilator shoes). In addition, these shoes are smaller than the same size in the Siren shoe which is the same style. I think perhaps Merrell may have made the shoe smaller internally when they decided to add the extra padding. This is unfortunate for me as it's not worth my while financially to return them, having ordered them from overseas. I have attempted to discuss my issues with Merrell but, so far, they have not replied to my messages.

Like the support but the size isn't right. I'm always a 10 but after reading the reviews bought a 10.5 which felt much too wide in the toe area. I returned for a 10 and thought it would be ok but part way into my first hike I knew they were too short. I will not be wearing again.

Not crazy about these, particularly because of the soles. The sole feels thin, and sort of cradles the foot on both sides so it feels almost like there's an arch support on both sides of the foot. Even though my feet are on the narrow side, it took a few weeks for the outside of my foot to adjust to the sole. I probably would have returned them but for the fact that I stupidly wore them right away. I do like the appearance of this shoe, though.

These are lightweight, relatively cool boots, good for hot, dry areas, but after only 6 months of moderate use on groomed trails, the inner lining in the heel area completely failed. I know Merrells have a good reputation, but I'll think twice before buying another pair. Zappos is still my favorite site to shop for shoes and boots.

This is my third pair of Merrell shoes and they are awesome. I have never had to break them in. They always fit perfect from the minute you put them on. I spend a lot of time walking and they have great support and last a long time.

I absolutely love these. I am kinda sad because I guess Merrell has updated this version and some people are saying it's not as good as the original. I will have to test the theory next purchase.

Bought these for hiking through the rain forest in Costa Rica. So glad I got them. They have really good treads so I wasn't sliding around in the mud. Very comfortable, no blisters even though we did some serious hiking and I didn't get to break them in first.

I am really happy with this shoe. Bought it for a trip to Machu Picchu and Galapagos Islands. They served me well - comfortable, good support and sturdy. Would highly recommend.

This is an excellent walking/hiking shoe for those looking for a lot of arch support. While I usually fit into this category, I actually felt this shoe had 'too much' arch support for me. Also, the foot bed is extremely firm. This can be great for those that like stiff orthotics, but I have recently found that a softer insole is gentler on my feet. Sadly, I had to send them back.

I bought these for a trip to Rome, Italy. These were the BEST for all the cobblestone walkways we were on.
