I am amazed at Zappos lightning speed shipping! I ordered these Merrells on Saturday afternoon and I received them on Monday. I didn't realize they worked weekends!! These Merrells are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They are lightweight and offer great support. I ordered 1/2 size larger only because I prefer extra toe wiggle room especially since I work outside in 95-100 degree temps in the summer and my feet tend to swell. If my feet do well in these at work, I just might order another color. If not, I've got a great walking shoe for my long walks with my dogs!

I bought these back in August. They were comfortable straight away and after five months of wear they are still best athletic shoes I\'ve had in many years. Excellent cushioning,fit and moderate ankle support. Excellent air circulation, and they look great too!

I really like these shoes! The toe box is roomy, my foot feels well supported and comfortable all day. Plus they\'re so good looking.

I ordered this shoe for an upcoming vacation to Costa Rica. Not yet sure how it will perform on the trail or when wet, but have worn them several times around town and can say that this shoe is very comfortable and supportive. I like that they are supportive enough to wear as hiking shoes, but are styled in such a way that they don't look silly as sneakers, too. I expect to get a lot of use out of these. They are not overly heavy, but if you are looking for a super lightweight shoe, this is probably not your best bet. I'd say it's about an average weight. Other reviews said this shoe ran small. I usually wear either a 9 or a 9.5, and I went with the 9.5, which fit perfectly. Overall, this is a great shoe: looks good, feels good, and seems to be built to last.

Review from Iraq: I was issued $200 combat boots and ended up wearing (and ruining) my expensive running shoes. I ordered these and they are all that I have worn since I took them out of the box. They are great for the dirt, rocks and walking that we do so much of around here. If they can stand up in Iraq, they can go anywhere!

These are some of the most comfortable boots I own. Actually the most. If it's wet or icy out though these aren't the safest.

I take a 8.5M and the 9M I ordered fit. However I found the support, especially in the left shoe to be off. It felt like an arch support but closer to my heel on the left side. It was just uncomfortable. The construction and design is great. I was hoping these would be my new "goto" hikers. But they got returned.

Unfortunately even the wide width was not comfortable for my right foot which has a small bone spur or bunion on my little toe. GOing to try a men's in the same shoe to see if that works.

Kind of a big and bulky shoe. Made my feet look big. Color good.

This is not the shoe for anyone needing good arch support. The inside was hard as a rock and my foot slid back and forth. No arch support. Perhaps the foot bed would need to be replaced by another insole to get it right. Also, the shoes ran short for me even though I sized up a half size. Not comfortable at all for my feet.

These were super comfortable with great arch and ankle support. As I wore them around the house the left foot still fit great, but my right foot did not. It slid forward. I think this had more to do with my weird feet than the shoes. I really liked them.

Definitely shorter in length than a 9 usually runs for me...Also the footbed is very firm not foamy like a tennis shoe. My first pair of hiking shoes so I am keeping, because overall I love them. Ive never worn a 9.5 in my life but may exchange for extra toe room. I have a very high arch and these shoes feel pretty comfortable.

These shoes helped me stay active while my feet were healing from a bad case of PF/heel spurs. Very Comfy for long hikes.

My fiance recommended the Ventilator (Beluga/Lilac). I glanced at reviews for the Moab Edge (Black/Purple), which had better reviews for arch support, so I ordered those too. The shoes arrived very quickly (I <3 Zappos). Right away, the Moab Edge were a better fit. There was a noticeable difference in arch support, and tilt of the shoe. The Ventilator felt as if I were standing flat footed, and the Edge felt like I was in a running shoe, heels slightly elevated. I have high arches and really need the support, so the Moab Edge won. The Ventilator color scheme was attractive, but subtle. The Edge was more fun. I loved the vibrant purple shoelaces. So right away, I knew I was keeping the Edge.

I really wanted to love these and it seems so many people do but they just didn't work for me. SMoke color was really lovely. The bottom felt so cushioned and comfortable but my big toe was hitting the seam at the top and it really started to bother me. My toe felt raw after just an hour of walking around my house. Wasn't prepared to risk a 10 day hike in these. They felt warm, which would be great in a colder climate but I live in the desert so no bueno. Had to send them back.
