Love this shoe, but it really runs small. I usually wear a 9 and, based on other reviews, I ordered a 9.5 but they're still a little too small in the toe. Other than that, no complaints - very supportive and looks great.

I'm very happy with this shoe and I'm glad that I have a comfortable hiking shoe that does not rub me in the wrong places. Other shoes have given me horrible blisters that took a long time to heal. I wore these shoes to complete my first fourteener last year and now this year, I've put nearly 25 miles on them hiking Colorado mtn terrain. The shoes provide good support, are light weight and make me a happy hiker.

These shoes were great! I've had problems getting walking or hiking shoes that fit well and looked good at the same time. These fit the bill. I wore them around the house for a couple of days and still wasn't sure, since there was pressure around the ankle, but I had to commit for an upcoming trip. I ended up hiking around the northern Arizona canyons for 5 days with no problems. Plenty of space for the toes (I sometimes need to order a wide shoe), with good arch and ankle support. I'm thrilled with how these shoes fit, feel and look.

These shoes are perfect for active women, especially with kids. I searched specifically for the Q-Form option because I have very high arches and these are the only shoes comfortable enough to wear daily - at the store or at the park.

These are the best shoes for a lot of walking. I like them so much I now own two pairs and will probably not buy any other kind. I wore them on a trip to South America and walked most days all day for two and a half weeks. They have a comfortable sturdy sole that provides a lot of stability on uneven terrain. The upper construction (toe box) is big enough that there is no rubbing and therefore no uncomfortable raw spots on the toes. They are light weight. I didn't need the ankle support that comes with hiking boots. These were just perfect. Sometimes in regular shoes I wear a 9, but sneakers of all types require me to go up a size, so I have been ordering a 10 in these shoes.

Love these! No break-in time needed. Straight out of the box and on the trails with the dog. Although I'm a big fan of Garmont trail shoes, I am much happier with these. Great traction on rock/mud/sand etc. even in wet weather. I don't believe these are waterproof, but my feet stayed dry during a hike in the rain. Very happy with my purchase! And of course, Zappos rocks as far as delivery and customer service.

I can't even begin to tell you all just how comfortable these sneakers are and how much support they give. I have really "bad" feet and have had a surgery (unsuccessful) on one foot and contemplating surgery on the other. I got these, tried them on in the house for a few minutes and went for a three mile walk! They are light-weight and not too hot. I would recommend them to anyone. They ran true to size and there was plenty of room in the toe - both in width and length.

I like Keen, too.

I am a Merrell fan -- shoes generally true to size and very comfortable. This pair was no exception. Wore them immediately on a trip with lots of city and countryside walking.

Phenomenal shoes. Had read plenty of reviews prior to ordering them. A good majority felt the shoes ran large. In my case they ran small. Normally take a size 9. Had to return and reorder a 9-1/2. Exceptional comfort. Exceptionally good looking. They hug your feet. Merrell shoes never disappoint.

Bought these shoes for a trip to Sedona, AZ because we were going to do some hiking. Did not break them in at all. Wore sneakers for our first two hikes and my legs started hurting so decided to wear these shoes and give them a try. Felt great as soon as I started walking in them and legs felt much better! Wore them for the rest of the trip and I will wear them for walks at home also. Great support and very comfortable. So glad I bought these shoes!

These are very comfortable, and look reasonably ok for a hiking shoe. They are a little round, giving a bit of a "moon shoe" look, but hey, it's a hiking shoe. They fit very well. Much more comfortable than any hiking boot I have ever owned.

This is the second pair of Moab Ventilators I've purchased. Love these shoes! No break-in time. Comfortable from first day. I'm sure they won't be my last Merrel's. And as usual Zappo's fast shipping and customer service rocks.

I wore the Moab Ventilator for the first time on a rainy day and they were great. I hadn't rain-proofed them but they still did a great job with traction and keeping my feet dry. They were very comfortable. I'm glad others before me let me know they ran a little small, so I ordered the 8.5 instead of the 8 that I usually wear and they fit perfectly. I have been in search of a pair of comfortable hiking shoes for years. I usually wear Keen's, but have found a real sizing problem with them and can't seem to get the right size in any of their hiking models. I like the cushiony feel of these shoes. I don't know how they'd be on a real hike because they feel really light, I don't know how efficient they would be in the woods or on a trail. I bought them for a trip to Bryce and Zion National parks for this coming summer, and I don't need to break them in, they fit perfectly already. The one problem I did have with them is they pulled my socks down constantly. I'm hoping it was a problem with the socks and not the shoes...I will try them with different socks and see. I really recommend these shoes for all around walking, very comfortable!

Great shoe! Runs a bit small though. I had to return for a larger size. Not as comfortable as I had hoped, but love the look of them.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. From the first time I put them on, they felt like I had been wearing them for weeks, no "breaking in" needed. I would recommend these shoes for walking/hiking/or just every day wear for comfort.

These are perfect. I purchased them for a trip we are taking in April to Hawaii, where we will be doing lots of hiking. In the meantime, here, they have weathered a couple of snowstorms perfectly. They are incredibly comfortable as well. I can't wait to see how they work out for our trip.

These are just like another reviewer said: wide toe box and narrow heel. That combo works great for me. They are true to size and extremely comfortable. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the most, the arch support is a 4.5 The inner sole is removable so the shoe accepts orthotics but you probably won't need to switch it out. The shoes are very sporty looking and have great traction on wet surfaces.

Love these shoes! I wear them for walking through the woods, when it's a little icy outside and just because they are comfy. Needless to say they look great with jeans & a sweatshirt! Depending on the thickness of socks determines if they feel true to size. I have a narrow heel but wear semi-thick socks so they fit me great. Merrell shoes are well made and last forever. I can always count on Merrell's to fit my feet perfectly. Highly recommend them. A+

The reviews on this shoe are all true. 5 stars. No break in period was fantastic. I choose to go up a size so I could wear them with thick socks.

I need the wide toe box and these have that and look great. I use a new balance orthotic and it fit in the shoe perfectly. After I wore them I purchased the black ones too.

I am returning it because it runs small and is too small for me but it feels comfortable otherwise.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever owned. I paired them with a Birkenstocks insert. I can walk for miles without getting sore feet, which has been a problem for me in the last few years. I highly recommend them.

These are very comfortable shoes for hiking and walking. I have gotten many compliments on them and couldn't be happier. The fit is exactly as described. I have a very narrow foot/heel and they fit perfectly without any looseness. I got the regular fit; someone with a wider foot might need to order a wider size if available.
