These shoes are cute and extremely comfortable. When I first put them on, I thought they were a little snug but found that they form to your foot nicely. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful shoe and very comfortable. I am on my feet all day and these shoes are great. I get a lot of compliments. I tried to order another pair, but they are out of my size. I wore out the first pair.

When you put these shoes on your feet, you know you are going to be comfortable. You can wear this shoe all day without kicking them off every chance you get. They are outstanding!

Ara shoes are terrific shoes for their support, style, and comfort. I have arthritis and bunions and these shoes have an excellent padded sole. This is my fourth pair of Ara shoes. I have this style in black and wanted a brown pair. I recommend these shoes to anyone who is on their feet all day and has sensitive feet. Happy feet in PA.

This is an incredibly comfortable shoe! I could wear it right out of the box. I have a wide foot around the front and it has a nice roomy foot bed. Cushiony and perfect heel height. Smart looking too. I usually wear Mephisto and this is just as comfortable and a less expensive alternative.

Love this shoe and brand. The color is not so versatile. I got the Lava Croco leather and was surprised to find that they color is not really the beige-y grey seen on the computer but more of a beige with moss green tint. I love it. It looks great with any of my green or khaki slacks. So comfortable, too. I wear an 8.5 usually and I have these shoes in an EU 6. The toe is a bit more narrow on these shoes so I think that's why the 6 fits better.

These are very comfortable shoes and look great with slacks and jeans. I had to return the first pair for a half a size larger. I just returned from NYC and wore them all day walking the city. They were great for the first few hours but I was wishing for my athletic shoes by the end of the day.

Beautiful shoes! As lovely in person as in the photo. They are even lovelier on. Fit my feet like gloves, with plenty of cush in the heel. They feel like dancing shoes - snug but very flexible. If your feet run wide, think about ordering greater width. I do tons of walking in my work, but need to look sharp and well dressed. These shoes definitely suit the purpose!

Excellent quality. Classic look - would be a bit stayed if not for the patent, crock, leather and thick sole. Great with jeans. Quite comfortable - wore them right out of the box - all day. Good 10.5 fit. In fact, I wear them with a thicker sock and they are even more comfortable.

Best shoes ever - Comfort - they fit like a glove. Style - perfect for work and after. Patent leather and suede, it doesn't get more stylish.

These Ara Rachels run a little narrow for a Medium. I ordered them in my size, and then I ordered them again a half size up. They are pinchy up by the little toes, definitely the narrowest Medium I have tried on recently. And usually when I try a wide, if available, it is too wide, so I think I'm a true medium. Since this is my first pair of ARAs, I don't know whether it is the brand or just his shoe that is narrow.

I love zappos and sing your praises to everyone. I ordered these about 10pm and they arrived the next day. I like ara because they fit well and have good support. There is one problem that I have encountered --- each pair has a tie that will not stay tied. Two were leather and I had to take them to the cobbler to get sewn down and this pair can be re-tied easier because it is a woven string, but will probably take them for a permanent solution, too.

Ara - There is an unpleasant smell, perhaps it is the glue used inside the shoe. That is the only objection I have. Have the same shoe in brown and beige and they are fine.

Loved this shoe right away. I am very difficult to fit with shoes as my heel is narrow and two different sizes. I LOVE the squared off toe! I wish there were more shoes with the squared toe! Would love this in a platform look!

This is a very classy shoe with a lower heel. It's expensive but it looks very nice and is comfortable, although the sides ride a bit high on my foot so I have to mind my ankles. I normally have a narrow to medium foot and this shoe is definitely on the narrow side. I also normally wear a 5.5 M US and ordered the 3 EU and it was a very good fit.

These shoes are wonderful for walking. I can go several miles in them without any rubbing or discomfort. I also get a lot of compliments on them.

I finally found a loafer that fits and is comfortable! This is a beautiful shoe. The elastic around the top makes a great fit.

These shoes have a built in arch support which makes them especially comfortable. They are beautiful as well. I have bought two pair already.

Sometimes it is helpful to paint a picture...I bought these shoes in both grey and tan. Both colors are perfect; so classy looking for an office setting. I put the grey pair on right out of the box at 5:30 a.m on my way to the office yesterday; I was immediately confident they were keepers. I wore them all day at work. Walked up and down several flights of stairs and walked around at lunch for some exercise. Went grocery shopping after work. Went home and carried the shopping up two flights of stairs. Put the groceries away and went we out for dinner with friends. Stopped at the store to pick up a few things after dinner. Got home at 9:30 p.m and checked my Pedometer. I had worn the shoes for 16 straight hours and had walked over 11,000 steps (5 miles). Picture how blissfully happy I am with these classy, absolutely perfect right out of the box shoes! A true-to-size (8) treat for my busy feet!
