The shoe is very comfortable but have little arch support. But still love them.

Too tight across the instep. Tried on in store and they fit, but cost more. These may need to be worn a little to stretch out, I don't know. I recently had foot surgery and I am having a difficult time finding comfortable shoes.?? Quality shoe just not fitting my foot at this time.

Comfortable slip on shoe. I have a tough time finding comfortable, attractive shoes with arch support but this is nice for fall/winter in New England.

I wear these shoes a lot because they are more comfortable than most, but I have to say they look a little dowdy to me and they make my feet look even bigger than they are (size 9). Still, I wear them, so I must like them enough.

I wish this shoe had a little more arch support. Otherwise, the toe box is really comfortable, not too narrow, the leather is good quality and lasts, the sole is nice and supportive. I finally, after having these shoes 3 years, put in Dr. sholes arch support and now they're perfect. Perfect enough I'll buy a new replacement pair and immediately add in the dr shoals. Otherwise, they are just good not as excellent.

Just not quite supportive enough. My foot rolls inward. Other than that, it's an attractive, simple loafer style shoe that is slightly on the narrow side of medium (which fits me perfectly). Not much arch support either, but that seems to be how Rieker does shoes! The "smoke" color is a nice dark chocolate color.

A comfortable shoe for those with wide feet. Not very cushioned, cannot take out insole to put in an orthotic like some of the other Rieker shoes. Gives the appearance of a boot when worn with jeans. Not much support.

Very nice looking and fairly light weight. For those needing arch support, unfortunately, these do not provide much. Otherwise, a very nice looking and well made shoe.

I would've loved this pair. They are comfortable right out of the box, and the leather material and the insoles are soft. Unfortunately, the right side was larger than the left. The left side for me was the correct snug and fit, but the right side was slightly longer and looser. I had to send this back. I do like this brand.

Although I liked the look of the shoe I have a very high arch and couldn’t even get the shoe on so I can’t give an accurate description of the fit, comfort and arch support. The support for the ball of the foot area was more narrow than what the pictures snd the video depicts

A bit clunky. I use as a work shoe and it looks fine with most pants.

It felt like I was walking on the pavement. They made my feet hurt.

The shoes were beautiful and true to size, but I was shocked at how "unsubstantial" they felt. I a replacing a 5 year old pair of Clarks Unstructured shoes, The soles on the Riekers felt thinner that the Clarks out of the box. There was also NO arch support. I have several trips planned and these were to be my go-to shoes for tourist activities during the day and dinner in the evening. They have the form but lack the function. For $100+ shoes, they need to have both form and function.

These are very roomy for those of us with narrow feet, and there is not much arch support, but with thick socks and my own inserts they are very comfy, and the best part is that they are all leather inside.

These shoes are beautiful and the first time I put them on they felt like an old slipper. However, reviews from Barking Dog Shoes said they had a roomy toe box (which I need due to a bunion) and narrow heel. The narrow heel was correct but the bunion started to complain as soon as I'd taken a few steps. I have flat feet and need support but this shoe doesn't have any at all. I bought an over the counter arch support but that made it tight across the instep and caused discomfort there. I'm still trying to figure out a way to keep these shoes that I love and yet make them comfortable enough to walk in for any amount of time at all. I got them in whiskey - love the color!

Sadly, I returned the shoes. I own a pair of this style that I bought from a local shoe store two years ago. They held up beautifully but it is time to replace them. I ordered a pair online and the color isn't as dark and rich as shown in the photo. Also, the leather material feels cheap. Huge disappointment.

The Reiker brand seems to be made much cheaper than it used to be.

Fit to large, feels like there is no padding in bottom of shoe. I have other rieker shoes (older shoes) that have twice the padding. these sure are not worth the price .

I really wanted to like these shoes as I like the look of them. However, there is not a lot of insole padding on this shoe. I would hate to think of what it would be like if walking on the sidewalk or rocks. There was a little arch support but for me, not much.

Be warned. If you're looking for a shoe with some level of cushioning in the sole and decent arch support, this is not the shoe for you. I wish the shoe would have worked because it's a shoe that is very comfortable in the toe box, at the heel, and in all other respects. But there's zero arch support. Also, for me this shoe ran very true to size. I wear a size 7, and the 38 fit perfectly, with enough allowance for socks. The smoke color is really nice, and is neutral enough to go with many colors of pants.

There was a hard lump inside right shoe in heel area. I could not wear the shoe because of the hard lump.

Ever since Rieker changed their sizes--I can't buy from them. Nothing fits. This has been my favorite shoe forever. Sadly,I only have one unused pair left. This one is going back. Now I have to find another brand. It's unfortunate.

This is the 4th pair of this style of Reiker shoes and for my feet they are perfect. I am so glad they are still part of your product line. And Zappos workers your delivery and service continues to be A1 ??

This is a very masculine looking shoe. Also, the biggest drawback is that the insoles that come with the shoes cannot be removed from the shoe! So, if you have custom orthotics, I doubt that this shoe would work for you.
