Excellent support, run a little short - I really love these shoes, but I'm starting to wonder whether I bought the wrong size. I normally wear a size 10, sometimes 9.5, and I got a size 40 Dansko. The only problem is my toes really bump up against the toe box when I'm walking outside. Not so much when I'm inside, but I do a lot of outdoor walking to and from work, and my toes are kind of uncomfortable. My friend who is a Dansko-wearer said that the toe box will soften up (and I did try her very broken-in size 40s, and they felt great), so I'm going to keep on wearing them. Next time, I might try a 41, though. With Zappos quick shipping and returns, it's easy to give a couple of sizes a try, and it's a good idea when spending this much money. Excellent support for plantar fasciitis (NO other shoe helped me with that), and for people with high arches, and really pretty with dresses. Worth the money - I'm sure I'll be buying another pair soon in another color.

They're everything I hoped for. I love my Dansko shoes. I'm a 6 1/2 to 7 and the 37 fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I'm on my feet on a concrete floor during the day and these made such a difference! I hesitated for a long time because of the price, but now I'm buying another pair in a different color… and they look great!

My new favorite shoes! I have been a Dansko fan for awhile and these are my FAVORITE! I was a little worried at first that they would fit worse than the Professional Clogs because of the strap, but if anything, the fit is more comfortable.

I love these Danskos! I love these Danskos. They are comfortable for all day wear, girly enough for skirts, safe in a warehouse environment. Awesome. Love 'em, have in wine and black...

Perfect for chronic heel pain! I just got these after ordering them just yesterday! I couldn't wait to get them out of the box. Let me tell you I have actually ordered these exact shoes twice before, I am a size 11ish and not sure which one would fit I ended up ordering a size 41 and 42 DUH! Luckily Zappos has a great return policy. The 42s were way too big, my heel did move up and down freely while walking but my feet also felt in danger of slipping right out of the shoe. The 41s fit perfectly but I returned them BOTH since I felt a bit guilty for paying such a hefty price. I looked around for something cheaper to help me out with my feet. I stand a lot and walk a lot, as the mom of two small kids I really needed something more supportive besides sneakers or Crocs to wear. I also have horrible heel pain from doing a lot of jogging. With these shoes I can walk around the house with NO PAIN in the heel at all. I'm wearing them with bare feet now since these have a natural sock liner that helps keep the feet dry and cool. I guess the real test will be when I walk outside but I'm keeping them!

Love these shoes - Love these shoes; I always get compliments @ work when I wear them. My last Marcelle lasted me 3+ yrs and is still good, but I wanted a new color :) (don’t get white it will get dirty easily). It’s comfy, a little heavy, but you will get used to it. I work 12 hr shifts and my back and feet don’t hurt after all that walking and standing.

Love these shoes! I absolutely love these shoes. I work at a busy Veterinary Hospital and I am on my feet all day long. These shoes are so comfortable and keep my feet and back from hurting even after a 15 hour day. Anyone on their feet all day needs a pair of Danskos!

Dansko Merrie - I ordered these shoes as a more attractive alternative to my other Dansko clogs. Let me tell you--these shoes are even cuter in person! Dansko shoes are very durable and great-quality and these shoes are no exception.

Unbelievable! I recently bought these and am in love! I can't get over how comfortable they are right out of the box. Highly, highly recommend them. I am on my feet much through the day and have decided I need more!

Great comfort, unpredictable sizing - I was in between sizes so I sized down (which was still about 1/2 size up from what I usually wear). They turned out to be extremely comfortable. So much so that I ordered another pair in the same size- which ended up feeling even a little smaller than the first pair. They are incredible comfortable when you find the right fit- if you're trying on, may want to try a couple pairs in the same size to find the best fit! I am on my feet all the time at work and these are perfect. They may not be the most fashionable, but I think everyone in the hospital world has caught on to Danskos so I fit right in :)

Great Shoes!!! I have 3 pairs of Dansko shoes and I love them all. They are comfortable and durable. These are my latest pair and I chose the cabrio color because I'm tired of buying black shoes. They are dark enough to look black with a little sheen of color to them and they go with everything! The strap is cute and fun. Just FYI, the strap isn't long enough to wrap around the heel of the shoe if you get tired of it, so keep that in mind if you think you'll get bored of the mary jane look.

Lives up to its reputation! As a physician, pretty much everyone I work with (nurses, techs, doctors) ALL wear Dansko. I have been putting off buying them for years, but know I need to start taking better care of myself, so finally bought these Marcelles. After wearing them twice, I agree with all the reviews - stitching rubs and they can be tight on wide feet (I'm 11W), but fantastic support and cute (for a clog). They will take a while to break in, but well worth it!

Dansko Marcelle-Love It - I am completely happy with the Dansko Marcelle and the shipping/sizing services of Zappos. I ordered a size too small, sent it back and got right size next day. Strong support for feet. Attractive. Gotten many compliments. Gave pair to my daughter for her birthday the next week. She loves them too.

Really great shoe - I have three pairs of these, in black, cordovan, & red patent! I love them! They go with everything from skirts to jeans. The perfect shoe for a day of shopping. I wear size 42, and these have the added bonus of making your feet appear smaller.

14 hour days with no back or foot pain- lots of compliments - I'm a third year medical student and am standing/walking for the majority of my 14 hour days. I no longer have back pain or foot pain!! I have also had several people stop me in my tracks to ask me where I got my shoes. The only downside I have found is that I have to wear Peds (little stocking foot covers) with the shoes; otherwise the material inside the shoe is a bit rough. I wear a true 8 and the size 38 is perfect. My sister is an 8 1/2 and she wears the next size up. Absolutely love these shoes.

First Pair - This was my first pair of Dansko's. I love them. They were true to size for me. Great arch support and the wine color goes with everything. A WIN WIN Situation.

Great shoes; need breaking in. My only quibble with these is that the spot where the vamp joins the rest of the shoe has a crisscross of leather which isn't taped or glued or tacked down. I got blisters until I taped over those spots inside. Also, in general, they took a bit of breaking-in. After a few days of wearing them a few hours each, though, they're great. I'm glad I didn't return them; I was thinking I might.

LOVE THEM! I've been wanting this pair of shoes forever and just kept putting them off. I can't wait to get home from work each day and put them on.

Great shoe! I'm really liking this shoe so far. I bought the black version, and it's very cute. I'm not a fan of the stapled bottom, but it's not a big deal. The shoe is all-around very comfy, the toe box seems a bit tight around the top edge but I think that will end up stretching out a bit. Plus the heel is free to move around and that helps. It's a VERY cute Mary Jane style, the height is great and the arch will really help my plantar fasciitis. I'm loving this shoe.

I am happy with my purchase - Although they took me a couple of days to break in, I am very happy with my purchase. I think they are a beautiful color (a reddish brown) and they have very good arch support. They seem extremely durable and true to size, aside from being a bit of a wide shoe. But even so they are perfect, very ankle flattering. I would absolutely recommend them.

Great shoe for not-great feet - I have very flat feet and can wear very few shoes that are attractive. These shoes look much better than my normal "old lady" shoes and feel absolutely wonderful.

My Tootsies are Feeling Fine! Ordered the brown Latigo pair late last night and the UPS delivery truck arrived at 4pm the very next day! (Now, that’s what I call fast!! I didn't think they would arrive so soon being that the order wasn't placed before 1pm Pacific time.) In any case these shoes are cute and feel pretty good on my feet. I wear a size 11, so I took the recommendation and ordered a size 42. I have a little extra toe room, but this will be fine since I will be wearing thicker socks. The strap is seemingly sturdy also. The width is perfect! I look forward to ordering more Danskos through Zappos in the future!

Adorable, but takes some breaking in... I love the look of these shoes and the size was right on. However, I found that the way they are cut on the sides caused a bit of discomfort (edge/opening hits the foot bones in a strange place) until the shoes were broken in. Great after that though and I've gotten lots of compliments already. Very cute shoe.

Couldn't be Happier - The shoe is amazing (just as my friend assured me it would be) and Zappos is, as usual, the best place for shoes. I found the strap to be a little tight the first day, but it got a bit looser and is perfect now. I normally wear size 7 (a little wide) and got the size 7 and had no problems whatsoever. I'm very, very, very happy. I wouldn't buy shoes anywhere else.
