This shoes are not only comfortable, they are very nice looking too. I have problems with the clogs because my arch, but with this Mary Jane I get not pressure on the top of my foot. Looks great with pants or skirts. Highly recommended to Dansko lovers.

Much better... ...than the Professional oiled pair I bought a month ago. Initially felt fine, but I found out by wearing those that I have a high instep...my toes went numb from the shoe pressing on it! Not so with the Marcelle. Having an adjustable strap lets me enjoy all the other benefits of a Dansko fit without the discomfort. The Hickory color seems like it may go well with browns or blacks...They seem to fit true to size, perfectly 9 for a 9 foot. I am hoping for some lighter colors in the future...I expect to get a lot of miles in these shoes.

Irritating seam - I really wish these would have been comfortable because they are soooo cute. There is a rough seam on the inside of the shoe on the lateral side near where the widest part of your foot would hit. It was so uncomfortable, definitely not something that would "break in". The rest of the shoe fit great. I ordered it in a 39, the same size I wear in the professional. I was going to try ordering a 40 just to see if that made a difference, but they were out of stock. I ended up ordering a pair of Myla's which fit great and are gorgeous. I'll have the sharpest looking shoes in the OR!

Best arch support, great for walking or standing all day - These Danskos have cured my lower back pain and are super comfortable for standing on stone floors all day. I need the best arch support for my high arches, and as I walk a lot in the city, need a comfortable shoe that won't chafe or leave blisters. These are great! I returned two pairs of other walking shoes before I found these, and now I'll keep buying Danskos!

Dansko Marcelle, the best mary jane! I have nerve issues in my feet and these shoes are the best! I can wear these without any foot pain! I can't even say this for my best running shoes. I have gotten tons of compliments on these, I had to have another pair! I wear them everywhere with skirts, jeans, and pants! These are my best Danskos yet! Thanks Zappos. Keep carrying new styles... I'll buy them!

Fantastic DANSKO! THANK YOU ZAPPOS! I couldn't have asked for a better 1st time experience! I had the shoes IN HAND in < 20hrs. I've received SO many compliments on these Mary Janes - and they required NO break-in period at all. Immediate comfort & fantastic support. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back to Zappos when I need more shoes. 5 Stars all the way around!

The Classic - I ordered these to replace an identical pair that I bought 3 years ago. I have worn these with regularity for 3 years...and the outsides are starting to look rough, so I wanted a shiny new pair to wear for those days when the shoes need to look perfect. Love this shoe.

My new favorite shoes. These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are much more feminine than The Professional (I also have a pair of those and wear them with pants) and can be worn with skirts. Although I work in an office and don't stand on my feet all day, I can wear the Marcelle shoes and not feel I have to take them off as soon as I get home.

Great shoes - These Danskos are just what I was looking for. The comfort is typical Dansko. The color is great, I can wear them with blacks and browns. This shoe can be dressed up or casual.

Rockin' the Dansko Marcelle - I was in the market for a new pair of shoes that would not make my feet hurt and was really excited to find a pair that accomplished that and looked awesome at the same time. I didn't have to sacrifice fashion for function.

Run small - They are great to work in. I stand and walk around all day and I love them; however, they run small. I normally buy a 9 1/2 or 10 and I buy an 11 in Danskos!

A great shoe from a great company. I am a huge Dansko fan and I own several pairs. When these came out, I admired them online for months before I finally decided to buy them. Once I got them, I found them to be more adorable than they are in the pictures. These shoes are comfortable and stylish. They look great with jeans, slacks, and skirts - not to mention capris. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. I own them in cordovan and brown latigo... would it be too selfish to order the black ones, too?

Best Dansko’s of all! I'm happy to say that I now own a pair of these in each color. My life is now complete. :)

I heart these shoes - I ordered these shoes two days before leaving on a three week vacation in Italy. I got them the day before and wore them on the plane. Everyone told me what a bad idea it was to walk all over Italy in new shoes but I've had Danskos before and they have never done me wrong. Not a single blister, no sore feet, not a blessed problem at all. I love these shoes and I can't picture ever wearing anything else for long walking vacations.

I have 5 pairs of Dansko and I got them from Zappos. The Marcelle are comfortable, but not as comfortable as the Professional because these are a little narrower in the front. But these look much nicer though and easier to wear clothes with different socks to match your shirts. They run a little small so I had to exchange for 1 size larger than my usual size.

Great! Make sure that heel isn't touching your foot. These are my first Danskos, but many of my friends were already wearing this brand. I learned from them that the best fit is when your toes can wiggle a bit in the box and your heel can move up and down without any rubbing from the heel. In other words, your heel doesn't really touch the back of the shoe if fit properly. I usually wear either a size 6.5 or 7 in other shoe brands, and I have a wide foot. A size 37 in Marcelle was perfect for me. These are one of the few pairs of shoes I can comfortably walk and stand in on the UW Madison campus. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who has to walk or stand for long periods of time. Plus, they look great with jeans, pants, and skirts!

Fabulous shoes! This is a wonderful Dansko style. It's comfortable, has plenty of arch support, and just plain fun to wear! I know you will love them.

Great shoe! Bought these for my daughter to wear to school with her uniforms and she loves them. She is on her feet all day... going to class to class and even outside to different buildings and her feet aren't tired and worn from the long day. Everyone at school is in love with her shoes and all want to have a pair!!!

Love these shoes - I could not ask for a better online shopping experience. Received my shoes in less than 24 hours, which I adore. I am a size 7.5, 38 worked great. When worn with socks, heel does move up and down freely. Being a nurse I look forward to wearing these shoes everyday.

New to Dansko's - I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and my MD suggested Danskos. Thank goodness for the ease of Zappos returns because I have been through many styles. I wear an 8.5-9, but found that in Danskos I needed a 40. The Marcelle is comfy although a bit wide for my foot. Still getting used to the fit, but my foot/heel already feels better. I just received the Professional Oiled Clog and the Madrigal. They seem to fit slimmer and I think I will wear them more than the Marcelle. Overall a good shoe, probably great for someone with wide feet, but there are other Danskos that seem to fit me better. It is also great to get to read all of the reviews from other buyers. It helped a lot when I made my purchase. I work 10 hour days as a nurse and have been telling all my coworkers about the great service at Zappos. Thank you!

Remove the hard plastic at inside heel - I really love these shoes, but the hard plastic at the inside back heel was rubbing my foot so badly I started to think I would never be able to wear these without band aids. Even with socks, that one part of the shoe was horrendously uncomfortable. I decided to chance it, got out my exacto knife, and cut the plastic out. I highly recommend doing this. Be very careful not to cut yourself or the leather of the shoe: if you just cut in small increments, you'll be able to do it. Getting that plastic out leaves the nice soft leather, no horrible rubbing against the back of your foot, and my feet don't bang up against the toe bed hardly at all, which was also a problem. Now my Marcelle’s are perfect.

A Saving Grace - These shoes are a life saver. I am currently pregos and work in the medical field. They are all that I wear and they're more attractive looking in person. I am personally for responsible for getting my fellow workers hooked on these shoes.

Love 'Em! I read some less than great reviews on these (mostly having to do with the seams rubbing against the foot) and so far, knock o wood, I haven't had any trouble. I absolutely love them! They look great with pants, skirts, capris... my only caution is that I typically wear a 39 in the traditional clog and had to get these in a size 38. They are a tad snug but the 39s were too roomy. Overall, great!

My favorite Dansko’s so far! I own three pairs of Dansko Professional clogs, which I adore. They are the only shoes that do not kill my feet...I ordered the Marcelle’s in cordovan Cabrio, on the suggestion of a friend. This was my first time ordering from Zappos. The shoes arrived in one business day as promised, and they are HEAVEN. Every bit as comfortable as my clogs, and SUPER cute. I'm wearing them to the theatre tonight! I have a very wide foot, and usually take a size 10. All my clogs are a 41 and are a tad loose (which is ok, because I like to wear thick socks, and have terrible bunions so the extra room is good). I ordered my Marcelle’s in a 40, knowing that I could return them if the fit was not right. The 40 is perfect. Just right with hose or light to medium weight dress socks. Thanks Zappos, I will definitely shop with you again.

Happy Feet! I saw these in red and had to have them. They are so cute and comfortable, I hardly take them off. My only complaint is the red bleeds onto my pretty patterned socks I bought to wear with them. Since they are the most worn pair of shoes I own, I don't wear the socks with any other shoe. --Problem solved! Cute with jeans, slacks, capris and skirts, they are very versatile. I wear a 6-6.5, usually, and these fit true (37). I feel like "Dorothy" in them, with my ruby red Danskos.
