Best Mary Jane ever! I received this shoe yesterday in time to slip them on for work. I was so happy! This is a great Dansko for someone that really wants to own a pair except they have a high instep. They are soft and of course have the great support of Dansko. I love them. I wear a 7 shoe and all my Danskos are size 37 and fit perfectly!

Heaven in a shoe - I LOVE these shoes. I've been wearing these bartending without socks since they came and they are soooo comfortable. Everyone wants to know where I got them. I normally wear a size 9.5 and found the size 41 to be perfect with or without socks.

I Love these shoes! I bartend 14+ hour shifts in these shoes and love them! Zappos is really the BEST! I ordered the wrong size on accident and was absolutely astounded by how fast I received the replacement pair! It couldn't have been easier and the operator was a pleasure to speak with! Thank you! You've made me a customer for life!

So cute - I'm so stoked that I found these shoes in the color AND SIZE that I wanted. The Marcelles are extremely sturdy, comfortable, cute, and hip looking. I wore them at my first week back at work and everyone complimented them, “Oh, they're so cute!" or people would stare at them (maybe because I got the claret patent - a deep red and shiny color). I own three other styles in Dansko, but I have to admit that these are by far the "fashion statement" shoes. Get them while they last! They go fast! Thanks Zappos!

Simply put, this is quite possibly the best running shoe ever made that I've slipped onto my feet! The quality is felt and the style of this shoe is impressive for someone of my tastes. I've run competitively in Track in years past for 7 years and I only wish these were out then. I would trade these over any pair of Nikes or Reebok running shoes any day of the week. They are so light weight, yet comfortable which is so important when running short distances but especially when running long distances. I've even played some flag football in these shoes and they are impressive. Well worth the money--I'm even considering buying another pair just for wearing out since they look great with jeans too.

Great Shoe - These Dansko's are so amazing. They are very comfortable. FYI these shoes feel very big when you wear your regular size. I wear a 41. They are meant to be bigger than normal. I guess that is how they can be so comfortable. Sometimes when I am in a hurry, I wear them without any socks or stockings and feel perfectly comfortable in them as well. They are very stable and appear that they will never wear out. Very well made. Zappos customer service is absolutely amazing.

These are the BEST shoes I've ever worn - I TOTALLY disagree with the person who said these are bad for walking... I work in a hospital and spend ALL day on my feet... these shoes gave me the first full day with NO back or foot pain at the end of the day. They're cute, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The shape of the sole takes some getting used to, but it took me only a couple of hours to do that. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

This is a shoe that would be perfect for a jumper or skirt. It seems to run much larger than the size that I wear in a Dansko. I feel like I need to keep tightening the straps.

Dansko Marcelle - The look only gets three stars because I would only wear these with scrubs, but they are ultra cute as casual, VERY comfortable shoes for 24 hour shifts etc. I do get compliments on them from other health professionals. These shoes are a bit heavy, but if you aren't trying to run around they are perfect for walking around all day. They have excellent arch support. The heel cup is a little scary, but it didn't rub at all--they have this plastic extra heel cup lining the leather. There is also a seam on the lateral aspect of the toe box which is a little worrisome, but I didn't have blisters or a hot spot or anything at the end of a 9 hour shift on the first day wearing them. I only wish I had seen that they came in different colors. I got the lightest brown which is cute, but I think the cabrio colors would be much cuter. Oh well, again they are not a fashion statement as much as a necessity. Zappos is amazing--I ordered MANY different Danskos before settling on these. I have a HIGH arch and they don't squish the tops of my feet like other Danskos do.

Nice looking shoe - I love Dansko and the Marcelle is a cute shoe that looks good with many different types of outfits. I have plantar fasciitis and the arch support is outstanding! I wear a 9.5 but had to order the 41. The definitely do not look like or feel like an 11. Wish Dansko would do half sizes. a 40.5 would be my perfect fit. Zappos customer service is by far the best out there. Ordered the shoes at 9 pm on Wed. got them at 1pm on Thur! Even the UPS guy was impressed!

So cute and comfortable - I'm getting ready to purchase another pair of these because I've worn out the pair I bought last year. Out of the other two pairs of Danskos I've owned, these are my favorites! One of the best details of this particular Dansko pair(besides being totally cute) is that the strap allows for those of us (me) who have a higher instep to have a better fit compared to the more traditional closed Dansko design. I walk 3-4 miles a day and these never let me down. Buy!

Comfortable - I need a shoe with a very wide toe box because of toe problems (I need surgery to correct it but have been postponing it). This shoe is comfortable, relatively stylish, and has an extremely roomy toe box.

Great shoe - best shoe if you have Morton’s neuroma - I have nerve pain at the base of my toe with most shoes - this is the only shoe where I am completely pain free. Comfortable and cute! I am usually an 8 or 8.5 and I wear the 39.

Love my new Marcelle’s - As always, Dansko is so true to size. I can always count on a 37 being a perfect fit. I love the brown/black combination that I chose, as it goes well with both brown and black slacks. I would recommend these to anyone.

This shoe is so cute, and it's so comfortable too! Versatile enough to wear with dressier casual clothing or just jeans and a sweater to go to the store. Love it!

I'm hooked! I love this shoe! From comfort to looks, it has it all. I have a pair in the dark brown and I will be getting them in black as well. The service I received at Zappos was the best. I am a very happy customer.

Cute, comfy, short. I love the look of these shoes and they are comfy. I found them to be a bit shorter than other shoes, I will get a larger size next time. Good for being on my feet all day and they look cute with everything. I have the bright red oiled leather, adorable!

Incredible comfort. I have the worst track record with shoes. My high arch makes most uncomfortable from the very start, or by the end of the day I'm covered in blisters no matter how long I wear a pair in. Not so with these shoes! I almost didn't buy them because of the cost, but wow were they worth it. I wear them non-stop, day in, day out, and they have been a pleasure to own, no shoe has ever come close. Their arch support is fantastic, and no part of the shoe binds. They do feel a little big due to the European sizing that doesn't really accommodate half-sizes very well (I'm a 9 1/2 and had to go with a 10), but the width feels lovely- my feet are a bit wide but not very. All in all, I love these shoes, and would heartily recommend them to anyone who suffers from pained arches or constant blistering!

Great shoes! I've always worn the Dansko Professional size 41. I had some surgery on my foot and have only been able to wear clogs for the last year. A friend recommended these as a way to “vary my look” and actually wear skirts. I was able to wear them comfortably right out of the box and they do have a different look, but the same wonderful Dansko comfort.

This shoes are not only comfortable, they are very nice looking too. I have problems with the clogs because my arch, but with this Mary Jane I get not pressure on the top of my foot. Looks great with pants or skirts. Highly recommended to Dansko lovers.

Much better... ...than the Professional oiled pair I bought a month ago. Initially felt fine, but I found out by wearing those that I have a high instep...my toes went numb from the shoe pressing on it! Not so with the Marcelle. Having an adjustable strap lets me enjoy all the other benefits of a Dansko fit without the discomfort. The Hickory color seems like it may go well with browns or blacks...They seem to fit true to size, perfectly 9 for a 9 foot. I am hoping for some lighter colors in the future...I expect to get a lot of miles in these shoes.

Irritating seam - I really wish these would have been comfortable because they are soooo cute. There is a rough seam on the inside of the shoe on the lateral side near where the widest part of your foot would hit. It was so uncomfortable, definitely not something that would "break in". The rest of the shoe fit great. I ordered it in a 39, the same size I wear in the professional. I was going to try ordering a 40 just to see if that made a difference, but they were out of stock. I ended up ordering a pair of Myla's which fit great and are gorgeous. I'll have the sharpest looking shoes in the OR!

Best arch support, great for walking or standing all day - These Danskos have cured my lower back pain and are super comfortable for standing on stone floors all day. I need the best arch support for my high arches, and as I walk a lot in the city, need a comfortable shoe that won't chafe or leave blisters. These are great! I returned two pairs of other walking shoes before I found these, and now I'll keep buying Danskos!
