More than a year and counting... I absolutely adore these shoes. I have the reddish brown leather ones and I will find any excuse to wear them. I currently live in a country where I walk (A LOT) and small-dainty-feet killing shoes are the rage. HANDS DOWN... BEST SHOE EVER!!! SUPPORT. COMFORT. FASHION. (I even wear them with skinny jeans...)

Very comfortable for a lot of walking. I have had trouble for years trying to find shoes that are comfortable. These were definitely a good buy. I bought the red color and they are very unique!

BEST WORK SHOE EVER! I am in love with this shoe! I work in the medical field and am on my feet for 12+ hours a shift. I was miserable with back and leg pain. I tried a pair of Nurse Mates, and they made my feet hurt worse than tennis shoes. This is my first pair of Dansko's, and I am definitely a converted person!

Love these shoes - I love Marcelle's, and the red patent ones bring such a fun twist to an outfit.

This is a good shoe - No complaints with this shoe. I have received a lot of compliments on them (I got the red patent) and it is certainly different than the run-of-the-mill mary jane. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is "heavy". Not like you are walking with cinder blocks heavy, but it isn't as comfortable as say - a bedroom slipper or a running shoe. I wouldn't expect anyone ordering this shoe would think that it would be, but I guess most of my other shoes (Birks, Keens) are more lightweight so I just noticed that this shoe is a bit more "luggy". It is comfortable, and as mentioned, stylish and something different. I would recommend. Oh, and you do have to remember that your heel will move around and flop slightly. I like my shoes to fit loose, so that was no big deal for me, but I would suspect some would find that annoying.

Pretty and comfortable - Very pretty cute and comfortable, excellent arch support. Just a little bit heavy for walk, but not bad at all.

Wonderful - most comfy ever! Great fit, great look - wish I had in every color, but the red patent sure is keen! Nice even for my wide foot.

I love these boots so much. They look excellent with wide leg denim trousers and even floral dresses. If I'm feeling particularly sassy, I throw on my straw cowboy hat, too. I wanted to post a review of these for two reasons. First, in my opinion, despite other reviews to the contrary, these boots do not run large. I usually wear a 7.5 in most shoes, but I needed an 8 for sure in these boots. My foot is wider at the ball and narrow at the heel, and although they initially felt snug on my toes, they have stretched and now fit my foot just right. They are a bit long, but I wouldn't sacrifice the width so I could have a shorter length. On a narrow foot, they might run larger. Second, I have sensitive skin, and my legs become irritated if the inside of the boot touches my leg. I have to wear tall socks to prevent this. Not a major issue, but I thought I’d let others know in case they have very sensitive skin as well. Despite this, I still love these boots! They may be a bit heavy, but I can comfortably wear these all days, even to grocery shop and run errands in.

Very comfortable - These are my first Danskos and so far so good. Although I wear a 7 or 7.5 in running shoes, I think I'm between sizes with Dansko so ordered the 37 and 38. The 38 was way too big. I kept the 37 and once I got used to my heel coming out with every step, they are actually really comfortable. Love the shiny red color and have gotten many complements.

Amazing shoes - Love these shoes! My husband got them for me and they are even cuter in person. Great fit (I am a 10.5 and ordered the 41) and very comfortable. Love Dansko shoes.

Extremely satisfied - I ordered the Dansko Marcelle shoes for my daughter for Christmas. I was amazed at how easy & quick the transaction was. She is a nurse and loves how comfortable the shoes are. I was nervous because it was the week before Christmas when she told me she wanted these... I ordered them online on Sunday and was told it could take 3-5 business days. To my surprise and amazement they arrived on Tuesday!!! I would rate my overall experience and comfort 10 stars!!!

I love these shoes! They feel wonderful. They are not the first pair I own nor will they be the last. I am hooked! I am a teacher and these are wonderful for those of us up on our feet all day. I don't have to give up style for comfort!

Great work shoe! I'm a nurse & spend 12 hours a day walking & standing. My feet feel great! It took a few days for the leather to soften up, I had to put band aids on my small toes to prevent rubbing on them, but now their fine.

Ruby Slippers! I absolutely adore these shoes. I bought them in the claret red patent and they are so pretty. They provide a little splash to my wardrobe! People call them my ruby slippers! They have the same great comfort as the clogs, only with the added security of the strap. They are very comfortable. I have a small foot, so it's difficult finding attractive, yet grown-up styles. These fit the bill in every way.

Awesome! This is the second pair of the Dansko Marcelle that I have purchased. I wore my last pair for over 3 years, working in a busy ER as a nurse. They are wonderful for my feet and back, and I get tons of compliments about their appearance. They are well worth their price!!!

Dansko Marcelle - The Dansko Marcelle is an adorable & comfortable shoe. I have several pairs of Danskos in which I normally wear a 39; however, in this shoe I wear a 38. If you like Dansko shoes, this is as comfortable as any other although if worn without socks, your feet do tend to get sweaty.

Very shiny! I got the Marcelle in Claret. The top portion above my toes was quite tight at first and the first 2 days were painful to wear, but after that the leather softened a bit and they are now perfectly comfy. I'm a little worried about the quality of the strap - it's held on by just one little grommet, but we'll see. So far so good! They are very shiny and sometimes get dusty very quickly. Normally I have to get 2 sizes bigger in Dansko, but with this shoe I did not.

Looks cute, feels great. I've had a hip replacement and was concerned that the shoe felt too hard for me to wear. It is surprisingly comfortable and now I want to buy more! I bought the red patent leather mary jane - so cute! I wear a 7 in sandals and 7 1/2 in shoes with socks. I purchased the 37 and it fits perfectly with socks.

I love this shoe - CUTE, comfy, versatile. Had to chooose between it and Mae... I may get this one eventually, but it squeaks when I walk, so sent it back for now!

My new favorites - I've been a Dansko Professional clog wearer for several years. The Marcelles are my new favorite. I haven't had patent leather shoes in decades and they are fun. The fit is the same as the regular clogs. The strap is perfect. I worried that it would be too tight on my high insteps. They are cooler than the clogs. I can walk for miles in these shoes.

eS...ok. Not the best shoes ever, they rip fast and the sole becomes detached when they get wet, and their very thin. On the plus side they look sick, so if you get them you shouldn't skate in them.

Perfect for any job - Wore these shoes to work (in an office atmosphere) and fell in love! So cute, very fashionable and COMFORTABLE! How many colors do they come in? I have two other pairs of Dansko and these have become my go-to shoe for everything!

Fallen for Dansko - I love everything about this shoe, including the added height it provides (1.5") to my short stature. I wear a 7.5-8 in US sizes and took others advice to order true to size, since with the Marcelle you can use the adjustable strap to tighten it up a bit. The 38s are perfect. So far I've gone without socks, but there is room for slim dress socks too. I have worn them many times and get compliments with each wear. Comfortable right out of the box for several hours at a time and walking around town. And the fact that I placed the order and got them the NEXT day is amazing. I will continue to be a Zappos customer. Now I'm eyeing the Dansko pull-up brown clogs.

Cute! These shoes look good with jeans, skirts or slacks. However you want to dress them, it works. The Marcelle fits great, especially if you have a high instep. The adjustable strap is a nice feature. I usually need to try on several pairs of Danskos to get the right pair, but not so with this style. They fit right out of the box. I usually wear a 7, sometimes 7.5, and a 38 Dansko works perfect. Get these shoes, you'll like them!
