Kamik Heidi boots are attractive and lightweight. They were hard to pull on my high arch/high instep feet. For comparison, the Kamik Olivia is a little easier to pull on. The shoe part is not deep enough for my feet -- that's a fashionable look, but painful for people with high insteps. I have thin calves, so no complaints there. However the top of the boot was hard and pressed uncomfortably into my shin and calf whether I walked or stood still. If Naturalizer still made the Finola rainboot, I would buy that again -- it looks like Kamik Heidi. But Finola was good for high-insteps, easy to put on thanks to the zipper, and when you walked in it, it was soft where the top of the boot made contact with your shin and calf. Not true of Kamik Heidi.

Cute, but a little tight across my instep, and I have fairly thin flat feet.

Loved the style of these however, the trim on the top of the boot was digging into my calves which made them very uncomfortable. It’s too bad they were not made of a more flexible fabric. The boot just seemed too rigid which made it unforgiving around the leg. I have average sized calves so I was surprised at how uncomfortable they felt. I returned these and bought “chooka” brand boots which are super comfortable but aren’t as cute as the kamiks.

I love how the shoe part fit but the ankle up to the mid-calf has no give and walking it kept hitting my shin. I cannot see walking in these a lot as that is too uncomfortable. SO sad as they are so cute!

They fit perfectly in the foot but like other reviewers said, they were tight around my calf and not comfortable. They didn’t give much. I sent them back but they were very cute!

I have thin leg calves, much to my chagrin. I'd read the shafts are narrow but figured the review was from a person with fuller, shapelier legs. Unfortunately, while these red boots are adorable - even with my skinny calves they were really tight. Had to have help pulling them off.

The denim color in particular looked very, very cheap. The black looked really well and I almost kept them but the Columbia Rainey won out in comfort

The black gloss was good looking but the denim color looked cheap and was basically a plastic mold over a light denim cloth. Out of 7 pairs the black made the second but the Columbia Rainey in the dark raspberry or purple color won over in Fit, comfort and style. Both were great in the calf are for skinny legs. Both boots were very comfortable with some thick work wool work socks

These were a gift for my daughter. The color was fabulous, she loved the style but she found the fit really uncomfortable. They hurt her feet.

I wear a narrow width shoe, and have very slender calves (13"). I have searched high and low for a reasonably-priced rain boot in my size (9.5AA) for at least a year, with no luck. (I work in a greenhouse.) I settled on Kamik Heidi after reading multiple reviews stating the boots run narrower than stated, in both the width and the shaft circumference. No. No, no, and no. The people who say it runs narrow in the shaft just have big calves and don't know what they're talking about when they talk about a "narrow shaft." A narrow shaft would be one that looks good on a slender calf and doesn't have so much extra space that water can easily run down into the shaft. That said, having already had multiple fruitless Internet searches over the course of a year, I started experimenting and discovered that two pairs of insoles and one pair of really thick socks keep these from sliding off of my feet. I have to wear pants over the boots, not tucked into the boots, to keep water from dripping into the top of the boot because the shaft is so big. On the plus side, the purple is a FABULOUS color!! I'm keeping these, more out of frustration than anything else.

Cute boots but definitely run small. Would not have been able to wear with pants tucked in. I’m used to my Hunters which have a wider calf and room for socks. Sending back!

It’s pretty good. The boots will keep my feet dry. They are too tight around the calf. I think some kind of gore would be helpful.

I totally have rain-boot envy!! Love the look of these boots and the foot area fits well. The problem is my calves are visibly squeezed at the top of the boot. I acknowledge that I have wide, tennis calves but I’m a size 6 in clothes and this is the first for me in rain-boots. Weird that the shaft is sooo narrow. Wish they made the boot with a wider shaft option. Really wanted this cute boot to work.:(

nice boots especially for the price. had to return however because my calves are too big for this boot. they cut into my calves.

these are really cute. I am an 8.5 and 8s were perfect in the foot. I have a skinny calf and had no problem tucking in pants. Unfortunately, I find the band around the top extremely uncomfortable when I walk, so back they go.

My calves are 16 inches and these boots were too tight for them. They pinched my calves.

Love love the fit around the foot area. Way too wide on top and I have got a normal size calf, if you do not half a wide calf, the rain will def pour in with leggings or dress. The fit is more like a dress boot so way to go Kamik, alas if you really need a rainboot do not see how this will work unless you half a very wide calf and need it for mud puddle walking after it rained, such a pity since it is so soft and love the colors and grip sole!!!!

I really wanted to love these boots. They're good looking and have a comfortable insole. BUT, as many others have said, the calf is so narrow that it's uncomfortable and there's no way I could fit a pant leg inside. So sadly, these are going back.

I cannot get my foot into the bottom of this boot. I normally wear an 8W. The small loop is not big enough to put my finger through and pull the boot on with a little force so it's going back.

I liked the boot, but I ordered the red color, and within 3 wears it had faded to a hot pink- not my favorite. It was a true fit to size, and I liked the quality otherwise.

I love the color and how they fit my feet. Unfortunately, I'm returning them because, like many other reviewers, I found they are too tight on my calves. I had decided to take a chance because I don't have very big calves, but these are truly tighter than normal boots and hit my calf at exactly the wrong spot. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're painful, but they are noticeably snug and uncomfortable. They are just about perfect when I wear them over leggings, but when I tried them with skinny jeans or with yoga pants tucked in, they're just tight enough to be annoying. I live in the Pacific Northwest and need a flexible, all purpose rain boot that I can wear anytime with any outfit, so these won't work for me.

I loved the way these boots looked and fit when they arrived. The color is a deep red- perfect for fall and winter. They fit true to size and are fairly padded on the bottom compared to other boots I have owned. My only complaint (and its a biggie) is they scuff easily. The inside ankle and calf area showed signs of wear after only 2 times wearing them out.

I'm a 9.5 and find because boots tend to run long, it's best if I size down. That was not the case with this. It was way too small, so half sizes, I advise sizing up.
