I've bought 3 pairs of these shoes over the past couple of years because they are super comfortable and they look great. They are extremely fragile and wear very quickly. Not a single pair lasted more than 3 months without significant wear and holes forming in the fabric itself, not even the seams. I'd still buy them when there's a good sale, but for $50+ bucks they are a complete ripoff.

Poorly aligned right canvas. Seems not properly sewn on sole.

I've was told these are the most comfortable shoes. I order size 12, I normally wear 11.5. These were too tight with socks to fit. I took the insoles out and I was able to fit into them but no cushion. Without socks I can keep the insoles in. After reading many reviews online I see that these are prone to shrinkage and if I would of know that I would have ordered size 13. Overall comfort is average

I bought these to replace my first pair, which had worn out at the toe really quickly. I was assured that this problem had been rectified so I took a chance. What was disappointing was that the comfy insole had been replaced by one with all sorts of bumps and nubs - is this supposed to be a foot massager or a pair of shoes? Very uncomfortable. Luckily I still had the old pair and was able to swap out the insole. Yuck.

Have worn original santa for years and loved them. These are the same size in name but are like 2 sizes smaller. Can't even fit in.

Love the shoe...but the insert is not as comfortable as the old ones. They need to use the smoothe insert. Much more comfortable

I've owned at least 6 pairs of the original Santa Cruz and was thrilled when I saw this new sleek design. Unfortunately of the 3 pairs I've purchased none have lasted more than 90 days without the heel portion of of the cushion footbed ripping off. The other issue is that the black canvas color fades very fast on the pressure points of the shoe looking like white dirt. I wrote customer service and hope they fix the issue with the shoes as they are still my favorite in regards to comfort.

I've been a Croc owner for years. I've owned over 10 pairs but in the last 2 years the comfort of the styles (mainly insole) has taken a turn for the worse. I can't find the same shoe I love. Especially the Santa Cruz. Other than the sole wearing out sooner than I want they are my most favorite shoe. I've worn out over 6 pairs. Now I cannot find them anywhere. The new version has a rubber like insole that is uncomfortable unless socks are worn (what's the point) and makes the feet sweat. The old version had a cloth covered foam that worked. While I'm a fan of memory foam the bumpy rubber like covering doesn't work for me.
If I'm missing something let me know. I can't find the foam/cloth insole in any style, but prefer the loafer with frayed edges.

These used to be great shoes. They are always well cushioned with good support, but they recently changed the insole to have these rigid bumps on the bottom instead of being smooth. I got mine in the mail the other day and wore them around the house. Time to send them back. They will definitely cause a blister if I decide to walk around for more than an hour due to the stupid bumps rubbing against my sock. Why did you change perfection??

I was looking for the same great comfort and roominess as the Santa Cruz this version is not it. Do not like the insole of this shoe as compared to version 1. If you like the relaxed fit of the Santa Cruz you won't find it here. Don't know if the Santa Cruz is being fazed out or not but I'll wait to buy any more of the Santa Cruz loafers until I find out. I won't buy this version again. Just not what I wanted out of this shoe. Going to a brick and mortar store to see and feel the product I buy from now on

My husband has a high arch so there was not enough stretch. Remember your Rheumatogist does not want you to wear Crocs because if you go sideways it will cause you to fall if you are older.

The memory foam insoles were awesome. Like a Sanuk but better. Ordered these to replace puppy eaten pair and has that awful rubber Croc insole now. Have very sensitive feet and the rubber nubs hurt my feet. Guys stick with what works please.... :(

I bought these shoes five years ago and they were perfect. Now I guess to a different manufacturer they are narrower and come up way too high in the arch area. I liked my first few pairs better than these two I just purchased. I guess it's time to find another shoe manufacturer that's comfortable right out of the box.

Nothing like CROCS. I could barely get them on and they the toes were too short and the whole show is too narrow for anyone that likes Crocs for their width.

The shoes are great. One thing that does concern me is that they all have a small hole in the heel lining. Is this normal? My previous crocs do not have this hole, and as I tend to wear them without the inner soles, I'm concerned they'll wear out more quickly around these holes

I was disappointed. I typed in Avast and this shoe came up. I thought I was ordering Avast with the smooth insole. As I found out when I got the shoes this has an insole similar to the sandles. I then called customer service to ask if I could get some smooth insoles shipped to me and was told that you had none and that the Avast shoe had been discontinued. I know many people that are going to be disappointed. I know I am and now will have to find another shoe that is as comfortable as the Avast is. Disappointed...

I ordered these Crocs for my husband because they look very similar to the ones he really liked but wore out after two years (hole on fabric near big toe). I couldn't find the exact ones so ordered ones that looked similar in style. Unfortunately, they ran a bit large and they didn't seem to conform to his feet properly. I had to return them. Next time we'll go to a Crocs store and try on as they all fit a little differently.

All of my 13-yr-old's other shoes are a size 7 and fit just fine. This shoe is way too small, his toes are jammed up at the front. So I tried the 8 and they're so big that they just fall off his feet. I'm so disappointed. I guess you can only wear crocs if your feet are someone else's idea of the perfect size. At least his feet are still growing. Mine are stuck at a permanent 8.5.
And yes... I tried the 9. Must be nice to have perfect feet.

Color was lighter than expected. Thought they would be more charcoal instead of light gray.
