This was my 3rd attempt at getting these in acceptable condition. I never thought I would have to use the term "acceptable" In reference to new footwear I did not grab from the dollar store. Today, I am simply speechless. Sad...I will miss spending entirely too much money on footwear at Zappo's. But, This company is sorely in need of some quality, in their quality control.

Box came completely damaged and shoes were worn and dirty

The Right and Left did not match in color or dimensions. Two different colors of exterior and footbed. Even worse is the leather goes up higher on one. See photo.

The shoe fell apart less than 1 year later. I only use it at home...

Birkenstock rivet on strap was missing...

Too high of arch support

These are listed as a men’s 8.5, an EU41 arrived. A men’s 8/8.5 in EU sizing is a 39. Very disappointed recipient. This was supposed to be the exciting surprise gift for the end.

Hard leather. Color was not like the picture. Ordered my normal size as I do in all Birkenstocks and this one was way much wider and and bigger. Not only that, I found it cheaper on Amazon. The suede Bostons fit much better and are true to size. So I would definitely not recommend the oiled leather unless you have very wide feet.

I was hesitant to buy these because of all the mixed reviews. Well I should have listened. Ordered these not knowing they were the wide and they were huge. I don’t even think they give the option for the narrow. I went ahead and ordered the narrow on birks website and they were too small! They are just really all over with their sizing and super uncomfortable with the arch.

Shoes hurt my feet like crazy!

The size was a little tight but true to size for Birkenstock. My issue with this purchase was the condition of the product. These shoes were delivered scuffed and in unacceptable condition. I'm requesting a full refund.

The fit was way too wide compared to my old ones of the same size (39). I will try to order the narrow in the same size.

I love this brand. It is one of the BEST relaxing shoes to wear. it takes getting used to the fit initially, but once you do it is Wonderful !!

The “leather” was full of scratches and the color did not match the picture. Very disappointed in Zappos quality control. Will be returning, sadly.

Size was true. Footbed was nice and felt like it would get nicer over time. The problem was the upper. The buckle is really annoying, and the strap was very uncomfortable. So despite the nice footbed and sole, I found these unwearable. Easily the least comfortable clogs I have ever tried on. Sent them back as a result. Found an alternative with no buckle or strap, and I'm much happier with that.

I was very disappointed in this pair of shoes. The shoes looked used and resoled. the leather was severely textured with scratches and their color was faded and mottled, appears to be damaged by water. The soles were also concave. It baffles me as to why an inspector would allow these shoes to pass a quality code for retail sales. I'm never ordering from Zappos again.

These are so big and I am surprised because I am at this time wearing the same size Birkenstocks. Also. The leather upper had many blemishes like light scrapes.

Right shoe was a half size too big and left shoe was tight and had a high arch. Returning. I own 5 pairs of Birkenstock’s, one a Boston clog and I have never had this problem. I tried this exact shoe on twice in two different brick and mortar stores and both were fine. These must be 2nds.

Super wide Sole hard as a rock Horrible uncomfortable

These are the most uncomfortable Birkenstock's I've ever owned! I now have bumps on the tops of my toes that I didn't have before wearing these shoes. I'm holding on with dear life with my toes or they will fly off my foot across the room and that's after adjusting the top strap to the tightest setting! I love Birkenstocks, but skip these ones!

These fit a full size larger than expected. With some shoes this is not a deal-breaker as there is some margin for error, but with Birkenstocks, the fit must be near-to-perfect because of the foot-bed's unique design. I'd purchased a pair of Bostons, just like these, back in 200 and had loved and worn them for roughly 5 years. I'd hoped these (just ordered and returned) would be a replacement No dice. Though I ordered the same size as last go round, they were enormous. Birkenstocks seem to have been, like so many lines, "up-sized" over the past decade.

These shoes were way too wide, I slopped all over in them. So I am trying again. My feet are very narrow, buying shoes is difficult but I need them. These are not narrow as indicated.
