I wear Birkenstock’s probably 90% of the time. Same size/width without fail. These however are way too wide in the toe box. Disappointed

I received my second pair of Boston clogs and was so excited when they arrived. When I opened the box it looked like the shoes were haphazardly placed in ther box and as a result had scratch marks on the top surface. I put on the shoes to try them on and noticed that the button on the right foot strap had come off but didn't know it was from my new shoes until like after 10 min of wearing them and the strap came apart while walking, and even when I tried to put it back on I noticed that the piece it attached to was broken. So back it goes.

I love Birkenstocks. They have been the answer to my foot problems. But these had to be returned because they were so sloppy on my feet that I struggled to walk normally in them. Also, inside under the buckle, a piece was rubbing my foot. So disappointing because I always have good experiences with Birkenstock just not these.

I love Birkenstocks and have worn them for years and years. For some reason this style is really, really wide at the toe and thus felt long and sloppy. I ended up returning mine. I wear a women's size 9-9.5 and always get a 40 in Birkey's. But for some reason this style was really huge on me. I have the exact same pair in black suede and they were perfect but I bought them several years ago so I'm not sure it is a fair comparison. These were so wide at the toe that they were just not attractive to me and I was worried that my foot wouldn't be stable and would slide around. And on my foot they were just really unattractive. I have narrow feet so this might have been the problem. Anyway, I will continue to buy from this brand because they make the best shoes ever but this style was just not for me. I did recently buy a felt pair that were perfect and I love those.

I ordered a 39, which is the size they came in. However, the box was totally torn and had 40 labeled on it as the shoe size. Both shoes had perspiration stains on the footbeds. Not acceptable. I liked the color, the size, the comfort but definitely not the condition.

These are SO uncomfortable! They hurt my feet every time I wear them, but I got them to have an enclosed toe in the garden, so I only wear them for short trips outside. If I am working longer, I wear different shoes! I really hate these - and I used to love clogs, so I don't know what is wrong with the material they used for the toe box!

These were true to size but so stiff and uncomfortable. Had to return.

Size and fit were fine although maybe just a bit wide. However, the leather looked terrible. Was not nice like the picture

I walked around in my carpeted bedroom & the buckle/strap immediately caused some discomfort . Not a good sign Too bad, I did like the style

Felt at least a half size too small and way too wide, I normally wear an 11 1/2 -12 wide , my toes were hitting the front of these shoes and they were so wide I could not walk without them falling off my feet,even with adjusting the buckle ; returning.

The shoe fits but the color is very light compared to the picture.

Too big..... all over

I've worn size 38 birkenstock in many styles for over 20 years. These are a full size too large.

Wished I ordered a size down

I have flat feet and a bunion and thought Birks would be a good choice. Unfortunately, these shoes actually got less comfortable the more I wore them. I suspect it’s because they form to fit which, for me, meant my feet flattened out the arch support and smoothed out the toe grip. I need a shoe that will push back on these problems not cave into them. Of course, by the time I realized this, I’d work them too much to return them.

I was disappointed this shoe was not available in Narrow. I ordered it any way, found it too wide, had to return it, and wasted my credit award.

Controversial as this may be, I think the hype around birkenstocks is a load of rubbish. They do feel like clouds under my feet, true. BUT since I started wearing them I feel like even barefeet is uncomfortable. They seem to be making my feel weaker with all that excessive arch support. Not only that, but I have never had any any dry or cracked skin or calluses on my feet until I started wearing these, and suddenly I have giant calluses from the toe bars, even though they fit perfectly. They’re clunky and you have to grip with your toes to keep them on. I don’t know in what universe that can be good for your feet.

Uglier than the picture shows and not as comfortable as my Birkenstock sandals, but I thought I would give them a try. I just look down and say so ugly! Returning these.

I bought these Birks in a 37,which is the size I wear in other brands. I was surprised, especially since most buyers say these run big, to find that my toes were jammed up against the front of the shoe. They will be going back. They are too expensive to just make do.

Received wrong size!

buckle broke after a few months and birkenstock will not repair -- referred to local repair shops thumbs down birks

Felt like a Birkenstock should, but there was definitely a quality control issue, either with Birkenstock or Zappos, I don’t know which. Both shoes were scuffed and had damage on the top edge of the footbed. They do not look like a new shoe. Will have to return them and try again.

The box that the shoes came in was torn apart. There are scratches on the shoes. These were definitely a returned item that I got stuck with. I need these shoes for this weekend so I can't return them. Nice
