These are the best walking shoes that I have had. I suggest that you buy one half size larger than you usually wear as they run small.

I have been buying this same shoe for several years (it's been updated a couple of times, but basically the same shoe). I have a very narrow foot, and this shoe fits perfectly. When my new pair arrives, I just put them on and do my normal walk of 4-6 miles. No breaking in period necessary for these shoes. Extremely comfortable and a great shoe for narrow feet!

I have worn the last two incarnations of this shoe and I was pleased to discover that the 845's are just as comfortable as their predecessors, feeling familiar and at home from day one. I have small, wide feet, and the toe box allows for plenty of wiggle room. These are my vehicle as I commute to work on foot. When I developed plantar fasciitis last year, my doctor recommended I invest in a good pair of running shoes, explaining that they would provide more cushioning. Not so. These shoes are more cushioned than any of the three pairs of runners that I tried. (Thank you, Zappos, for your generous return policy!) New Balance\'s grid of last types was very helpful in finding this boxy toe I was looking for. I have cut off the elastic bands holding the tongue in place because they made the shoes feel tight over the instep, and this has made them even better. I\'m back ordering another pair while they are still svailable. And yes, the town was here before the actor!

If most sneakers either squeeze your toes or slip in the heel, you should definitely consider these. New Balance makes these and their WW926 model on the same last--wide toe, narrow heel, high instep--which perfectly describes my foot. I\'ve been wearing 926\'s for about four years, and recently bought a pair of these. They\'re both very comfortable and perfectly suited to my foot. These may be slightly lighter than the 926\'s, but the difference is minor. A lot of women with "wide" feet actually have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. If that\'s you, try these. They (and the NB WW926) are the only sneakers I\'ve found in years of searching that fit right.

I use to wear the 844s and they were great, but the 845s are better. There is more toe room and my orthotics fit better also. If you do wear orthotics, this shoe should work for you. I must say, Zappos, you rock!

I've worn this style for the past year, love it. Since styles change so quickly, I bought two more pair to cover the next two years. I love the shoe...and I have arthritic feet. I heartily recommend this walking shoe.

It is hard to find a shoe that claims to be narrow and is narrow. These are great; not only are they narrow, but they give you good toe room. The best thing about dealing with Zappos are the customer service people. They are so courteous and helpful. Just another reason to shop Zappos.

Great shoes! I walk a LOT and I have plantar fasciitis and chronic achilles tendonitis. Along with my orthotics, these shoes help me to be almost pain-free. Great fit, too. (My only complaint is kind of silly -- the laces are too darn long!)

I recently had foot surgery and will always need to purchase supportive sneakers. My physical therapist recommended these shoes and they are wonderful! These shoes are so comfortable and they make my feet look smaller (hard to do with size 11 wide). I have had a hard time finding sneakers that were not tight in the toe box, but this pair did the trick! And (again) Zappos' service is fabulous!

First, your service is terrific. I received a call from my sister in Canada asking if I could get her these shoes - one week before I left. I ordered the shoes on a Wednesday nite and recieved them Friday Morning. That\'s SERVICE.\r\nMy sister loved these shoes and said they fit her perfectly. Fabulous, comfortable shoe. I have high arches, wear orthotics, and have 4 Morton's Neuromas, 2 on each foot. It's very difficult to find comfortable good looking athletic shoes. These do the job! They have a wide toe box, yet somehow don't look as clunky as some of the other New Balance shoes with a wide toe box. I'd been wearing the 926's. Though very comfortable, well, my friends called them my "nurse Nancy" shoes. I got the white/blue and they look just like normal athletic shoes. Bought the wide and went up 1/2 size to fit in my own orthotics. Great right out of the box.

Love these shoes! I love the fact that New Balance has so many options for fitting a shoe. It makes it so much better to buy a shoe. I have a wide toe box area, but narrow heel, and they have a style for that. These aren't the cutest shoe in the world, but when I'm out walking I don't really care. I want my feet to not hurt and they don't with these shoes. As always Zappos is the best!

I love my New Balance shoes. They are so comfortable!!! I have orthotics that I have to wear inside my shoes and these shoes are roomy enough for me to wear the orthotics in them comfortably. I love getting my shoes from Zappos.com too!!! It is so easy and convenient to shop from home and be able to return shoes if I need to.

I bought a pair of these shoes in 6 1/2 2E after reading the reviews. I also wear foot orthotics, but loved the shoes even before I put the orthotics into the shoes. I did not order a 1/2 size larger, but will consider it in the future. Because of these shoes and my orthotics, I am walking more and will take part in a 10-mile walk in September.

First I got an 8 1/2,this is a half size larger than I usually wear. It was too short. I called and talked to one of the very nice reps and she gave me the length percentages for the next two sizes up. I so dreaded sending the shoes back, again, I opted for the 9.5. However, the nine probably would have fitted me better. The 9.5 is okay with a thicker sock. The shoe really does have an excellent shock-poof heel. Very comfortable.I still must put arch supports in, however. Also, the AA is still a bit wide for my foot. But there are no AAA's available. Again, I need the thicker sock. All shoes of this ilk does look a little ugly to me, but this shoe is not too bad.I have the white with the blue trim. And it really does absorb the heel strike jolts.

Gorgeous handbag! One thing the pictures don't show is that there are some side pockets on this handbag that are very handy for quick find items like cell phones. These pockets are between the inner large pocket and the outside of the bag. One is big enough for a water bottle! Also not obvious in this picture is that the material is very soft. I love it (and love the looks), but it does make the handbag "slouch". If you want a more stiff material that sits upright, this is not the right bag for you. The quality is fantastic and I will love to have this bag with me for the summer!

I took the advice offered by previous reviewers and bought a half size larger than I usually wear. I also have custom orthodics for plantar fasciitis, so the half size larger was perfect. I started wearing the shoes regularly, and my foot felt better. I would recommend this shoe for those suffering from plantar fasciitis.

I have been buying this sneaker and its various re-designs/upgrades since 2003. Since I walk vigorously 5-6 miles a day, I go through 3-4 pairs a year. They wear well, always comfortable and have a wide toe box. The latter is especially a must for someone with a wide foot like me. I've gone to the local New Balance store and have tried and bought other models. None has the comfort and light weight of this sneaker. I never feel like I have to "break-in" a new pair. They are always perfect. I have to check the wear on the sole to see when I'm due for a new pair. I think New Balance just tweaks this sneaker every couple years so they can increase the price. Zappos' price is always the best.

Love these shoes! I am back for my 2nd pair. They lasted me 2 years; pretty good for a pair of shoes. And the comfort when you walk -- they are a joy to walk in.

Very comfortable shoe that cushions your feet as you walk. I ordered a half size up due to the reviews and they fit perfectly. This is the first shoe that I've worn with orthotics and they are easy to wear with the shoe. My only complaint is that they look a little clunky.

These shoes are fabulous! I had been experiencing hip pain while walking on the treadmill and it has completely disappeared since wearing the new shoes. They do run small, so order up at least a half-size. I did not even need to "break in" the shoes - they were comfortable immediately.

Excellent support, very comfortable toe box, great for my arthritic feet, helps me through 8 hours on my feet at work.
