Shoes are very lightweight yet very supportive. Feel like your wearing pool shoes or socks. Love 'em. Use 'em in the gym all the time. Great warm weather shoe too.

I bought these shoes based on advice from someone at my Crossfit Gym. They are excellent for lifting and super lightweight for Crossfit. I highly recommend them for Xfit, I have ran in them and they are not comfy for long distance, they also run a half size smaller than my other sneakers. Overall very satisfied with these.

Best workout sneaker I have ever bought! Buy the shoe a half size smaller than your normal shoe size and it will hug your feet like a glove.

Great shoes! I use them for workouts due to the light weight and minimal sole which maintains proper foot alignment for lifts but still offers protection for my feet during runs. Will be buying more.

I was looking for a pair of minimalist shoes that could be used for the trail and the road not to mention I could wear in uniform since I am in the military and found these. Ever since I first slid them on my feet I have been in love with them! I have used them extensively both on and off trails and for runs up to 14 miles without any issue. Since these were my first pair of minimalist shoes I did take the time to make sure I was doing the right thing. I took the time to get use to the style of running after having come accustomed to running in a shoe with large amounts of cushion on the heel that promote heel striking. I know own three pairs of the F 230 lights that I currently run in and have retired a pair or two. They hold up well but I prefer to make sure I rotating my shoes since I putting on yesterdays sweaty shoes is not only nasty but not recommended by any runners I have ever been mentored by. I get asked about them often and have converted others to inov-8 who have all shared in my excitement once they tried them as well. And since there are not a lot of people that wear them I've noticed on more than one occasion how I end up talking to others that wear them when I show up to a race. It's like sub-cult of running a kin to motorcycles or Jeepers. I have no intention of buying a different running shoe for years to come!

These may be the best running shoes I have ever owned. I really enjoy running in these. They are comfortable, light-weight, and good looking. After some months of use part of the tongue on one has started to come unstitched, but I should be able to sew it back together.

I typically wear a 9 1/2 in other shoes and the 9 fit perfect. The shoe runs narrow, but I like that because I have a narrow foot. The shoe grips gym surface perfect! This shoe is so comfortable that I find myself saying, wish I could wear these all the time! I wouldn't use for long distance running, felt okay for 2-3 miles.

Started Crossfit 4 weeks ago and these shoes have helped me stay on my heals in Oly lifts. Great shoes, very comfortable.

These were my first pair of Inov-8 shoes and I read a lot of positive reviews about them for CrossFit, P90X, Insanity, etc. I primarily use them for Insanity workouts and I am extremely happy. I went from using Nike Flex's to these, and the support is unbelievable. I plan on buying another pair of Inov-8's for trail running, most likely the Talon. I have 2 Tough Mudder's coming up this year and these will be perfect. Thumbs up!

I just purchased my second pair of these shoes. I bought my first pair in January 2012. I use them for CrossFit. The shoe is light weight, durable, and has adequate padding in the sole for all CrossFit movements. I also use these shoes for light weight oly lifts that appear in WODs. The longest I have run in these shoes on pavement is 2 miles. I have done 100, 200, and 400m sprints (also on pavement), but would not buy these shoes for that sole purpose. I have a wide foot, but bought these shoes in my true size and packed them out. This did not take long as the toe box is a soft material. Once broken in they fit like a slipper.

These shoes are amazing! I own multiple pairs of Inov-8's. I still prefer my Five Fingers at the gym. It's about time they made a bare foot shoe that is socially acceptable to wear in public!

This is my 2nd pair of shoes from Inov-8. I like shoes that are lightweight and that feel like you're essentially in bare feet. These are perfect and allow you to do more varied sports than the Bare-X I use for running.

Yes other reviews are correct. Good shoe. I never tried a minimalist before so I tried on about 10 other shoes and settled on this one. Very happy. Bought my wife a 195 which she loves. My only complaint would be the tongue on the shoe slip down. Still great shoe. I bought a 1/2 size smaller than my normal running shoe.

These may well be my favorites shoes I've ever owned of any kind, not just for track/running/workout. The minimal design feels as close to barefoot as I've experienced, featherweight and comfortable. Yet they have a very attractive look, you don't have to worry about odd stares like you get with toe shoes. I wear them at the gym, for running, and with jeans and casual trousers for everyday use. After four months regular wear they still look like I just took them out of the box, flawless. I plan to buy more of these, just love them.

Awesome shoes. I use them for crossfit & like the added padding compared to the 195. This being said 230 still is "minimalist" enough for your squats & other bar-work.

Amazing Crossfit shoes. Grips the floor to get a perfect squat, enough traction to prevent any slips on massive amounts of burpees, but I'll probably go half size smaller next time.

These feel like really good running shoes and are amazingly comfortable without socks and prefer to wear these that way. The bad thing is I have gotten used to minimalist shoes and so I feel that these have a bit more support than for my liking and prefer walking around/working out in my Xfs-210 and F-lite 192s even in socks except that these help in front squats due to the 6mm differential from heel to forefoot. I feel more rugged than my 192s and I still like them.

Easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, hands down. They feel like they were made just for me. I was worried because I a have a slightly wide foot, but these shoes are a perfect fit. I could not be happier with them!

I hate running, so I don't. I do work out though on a RevMaster, heavy bag, and with P90X discs so I do run in place and move around a good bit. I wore out my Saucony cross training shoes and started looking for new ones, which led me to reading reviews by very knowledgeable runners and others (thank you!). Their talk of angles, ratios, joint pain and lack of, and minimalist shoe types was enlightening and directed me to this shoe, the Saucony Pro Grid Mirage 2, and Nike Dual Fusion Run. I ordered all 3 and ran some test laps in my house. No contest - I instantly loved this shoe. Hesitant about no 'stable platform' I was astounded at the control I had in this shoe. I have 12.5 narrow, thin, flat wuss feet and these fit unbelievably well, and my knee pain is virtually gone. I will order a couple more pair in case they're no longer available in the future. Never loved a shoe before this one, except for the billboard graphic on the sides.

I bought these shoes a little over a year ago and they're still in excellent condition. Great for training and looks fabulous in casual wear. It's very light and flexible. I get many compliments how nice they look or where I bought them. I would recommend buying a half size smaller than your average shoe size. I love them so much I'm buying a second pair in another color.

This track shoe is very light weight and worth every penny. The material of the shoe I believe will hold up to my marathon running. Excellent support and fits true to size.

I read a lot of reviews before making my first Inov-8 purchase. So far I am extremely pleased. They do run a little big, I normally take a 7.5 and had to get them in a 7 and the color is slightly darker than appears online, but still a good looking shoe. If you are looking for a minimalist shoe with great support, this is the way to go.

I have been wearing these while doing insanity workouts. I love them. I ordered my regular size. They are a little roomy in the toe area, but otherwise fit fine.
