This shoe is great for crossfit and running. It's very light and has a comfortable toe box. I was afraid of how this shoe would fit because I don't have a narrow foot, but I was OK. I usually wear an 8.5W but bought a 9W/7.5M.

These shoes are incredibly light and tough. I have worked out with other minimalist shoes in the past, but the inov-8's are really functioning at another level. Comfortable enough to run in, stable enough to lift in - all while being amazingly light and breathable. I highly recommend them.

First shoe from Inov-8. Was so light, I was afraid it wouldn't hold up. But after 30 miles of rugged backcountry hiking in Utah, they still look brand new. Even more surprising is the soles of my feet felt fine without the shank I'm used to from hiking boots. I now wear these everywhere: for yard work, riding the regular pedals of my single-speed mountain bike, around town, etc. Love 'em.

The shoe is great, the fit is fantastic. However, be careful as the 230s don't have Ropetech and would tear from climbing ropes.

Very comfortable walking shoes or just to be around. Very light feels like you are not wearing shoes. I would not recommend them for running specially if you have knee or foot issues. I wear them with my walk-fit inserts and they fit fine.

Love these. They do run a little big. I had to get a 1/2 size smaller. And they are narrow, but that's perfect for me. Yes, you will have trouble if you have wide feet. I use these for CrossFit. Would not use on a longer run unless you get used to them and build up to it.

I bought these for cardio/strength training and cross-fit and they are great. The shoes are very light and let you feel very "connected" the ground. Not sure I would get these for pure running as they may not have enough shock absorption, but for what I do, they are great.

Very comfortable minimal shoes. The material on the toes has begun to look wavy after a couple months of continuous wear, but that is easy to get over. I wear them a minimum of 10 hours a day, and running and walking, without an issue. Very pleased with this purchase!

I absolutely love these shoes! I would recommend sizing down a 1/2 size as others have suggested. I usually wear wear a size 9, but ordered these in an 8 1/2; they fit perfectly. I'm usually extremely picky with my workout shoes...they have to feel right in every area. I have really struggled in the past to find a pair I truly love. I have loved these since the second I slipped them on! I Crossfit 5x/wk and these have held up great. I wouldn't recommend them for distance running, unless you like the minimalist feel, as they don't feel very supportive for that type of workout. For Crossfit, they have met & exceeded my expectations!

These shoes by far are the best shoes I have ever owned for lifting weights and circuit training type of workouts. They are perfect for squats and deadlifts. They fit true to size.

Love. Man, you get what you pay for in shoes. I bought these to train all last year for a Tough Mudder. Ran probably 150 miles in them, and then ran the race in them and they survived! I thought for sure after they were literally soaked in mud all day they would be trash, but they had been wearing so well I decided to try to wash them out. It took a long time, lots of water and a couple of wears after that to get the sand out from the shoe by carrying it away in my socks, but now they are back to useable and no glue separation whatsoever. No stitching came undone, they are still comfortable and still rock solid. I will never buy another pair of exercise shoes except this make and model as long as I live.

Shoes have been great... I use them for Cross fit. Fine for running short distances (0-3 miles) and the flat soles make Olympic lifts much better.

I'm just in love with these shoes- this is my 4th pair of this model. They are incredibly comfortable (I tend to wear them without socks) and they get a ton of use from me. I walk about 7-10 miles a day in them and wear them around the house. Because of that amount of use they do wear down somewhat quickly but I've yet to find a more comfortable pair for me.

Great fitting shoes. Plenty of support where I need it. Durable for running as well as Crossfit. Good for short, low volume running.

I have worn the F-Lite 230 shoes for every crossfit workout for the past two years. They are my go-to training shoes and I have never had any problems with them. I get new shoes to train in after about 6-7 months. So now I have many "retired" pairs that I wear with jeans because I think they look cute. If you do any weightlifting or other crossfit related workouts, these are the best shoes around. Solid shoe, very pleased.

I really like these inov-8 shoes. I wanted to get something more bare/basic to use during CrossFit workouts and lifting. These shoes seem to suit the need adequately.

Awesome shoes, worth to be tried and worn. These are my favorite shoes for Crossfit. Initially, I tried the Reebok Nano 2.0, but returned them as they did not provide enough arch support for me. These are quite extraordinary. The lacing system grips the foot and provides awesome stability and arch support, without impacting the toes comfort. I'm on my way to order a second pair. Love the ones in black.

An outstanding shoe, and by far the best athletic shoe I've ever owned. I use these for running and weightlifting, and occasionally I just wear them to walk to the store because they're just that pleasant to have on. One caveat: The lightweight construction of the shoe necessarily means that the upper is made of very thin material. If you're going into rough terrain where the upper is likely to come into contact with pointy branches, jagged rocks, and the like, I don't recommend going with a different pair of sneakers.

Very light shoes, yet strong as my standard gym shoe. Easily and comfortably goes from soft dirt and rocky trails to asphalt road. I'm really enjoying them and I'm just getting into trail running, so having a great quality and light pair of shoes has noticeably helped out.

I consider these shoes the best bang for your buck in the fitness world right now. I lift, Crossfit, trail run, and road run in them and they change tasks without hesitation. They may not be the best at any one thing but you will not find another shoes that can do this much so well!

Very comfortable lightweight shoes. They look good too, I've actually gotten compliments on them, which is very unusual for running shoes I think.

Never tried minimal shoes before and was a little bit skeptical. However these shoes feel amazing. nice clean fit, feet are closer to the ground so you get used to actually using your feet rather than being up on 1-2 inches of heel. Went running in them and my calves burned like none other. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone that wants to break out of the norm and get their feet and legs working the way they should be working.

Very cute training shoe. It is lightweight with minimal support, so seems best suited for training that does not involve much running.
