These have been the perfect boots this winter! They are light and easy to walk in, all while keeping my feet warm and dry. I followed advice and ordered a half size up, and they fit perfectly.

First time wearing Keen and what a discovery. A bit above average in price but absolutely worth it. Love them so much I am going to order more Keens. Zappos is simply outstanding for great products and especially availability of sizes. Thanks.

Great boot for cold, snowy weather. Keep my feet warm and dry. Very comfortable--I've worn these for hours at a time.

Love it! Great timing, received yesterday...ice storm today. Added Traxx to them and felt very comfortable walking today. Boots really comfy! Fit well...I wear an 8.5/9W. Read other reviews and ordered 9.5 glad I did! Thicker sock room & wide enough & not too heavy. I've worked for a Keen competitor before, but will tell my friends how great these Keens are!

These are by far the best boots I have ever owned. The are so comfortable and warm and waterproof. I did order 2 sizes so I could try both on, I went up 1/2 size from my keen sandals that I wear without socks. Definitely worth the money and more!

Love these boots! This is a record month for snow in CT and I have shoveled more than enough snow to last me a decade! These boots are great, they are so warm, fit so good and are waterproof! they are also not bulky, heavy or awkward. I could easily wear them with a skirt and leggings if I wanted, they are really cute (not a big attraction for warm winter boots but it's definitely a plus). The heel is a little on the narrow side, I normally wear an 8 and I ordered an 8 and they were a little tough to get on (I almost considered getting the next size up), but then they did slide on and fit like a glove. Love the zipper rather than laces, just great boots!

Excellent winter boots for the city. They look much cooler than the photos and they keep my feet dry and warm. I've had radiation therapy and I'm not as strong or flexible as I once was, but these boots are lightweight and the combination of the side zipper and the loops at the top make them very easy to get on and off. Another issue I have is going up and down stairs, but no problem with that either. The soles are not bulky and they feel steady on all surfaces, even cold metal cellar doors on sidewalks. The size 11 feels true to size and fits my wide calves. I even like the posture I have with them on! The traction is good on slippery streets and I've walked through puddles at least 3" deep with no water seeping in. The lining is comfortable and thick socks are not necessary. No rubbing, no break in period necessary. When I put these boots on I feel ready for action and unafraid of what the weather will throw at me. I had other boots in my shopping cart but Zappos let someone else buy them before I could even checkout (my only complaint, but that's not cool, guys!) but I'm glad because now I love Betty.

Ordered these boots after reading every review on every winter boot. I love them. Keen's are a little stiff at first in general but this boot was worn in and comfy within days. It is definitely warm & dry...exactly what I was looking for to make it through the snow and muck. These are boots that I can wear all day and still find them comfortable. A little big, but not in comparison to other utilitarian winter boots. My fashionista daughter actually said they were kind of cute.

Great boots and tested in the Blizzard of 2010! My feet stayed warm and dry through hours of shoveling.

Great winter boot, with just enough room to tuck in my pant hems snugly. Only problem is that I seem to be just between sizes and the size 6 is a tad too small, but the size 6.5 is too big. I went with the size 6 because I couldn't find a better-fitting style of boot.

This is my second Canadian winter with the Keen Betty Boot. I absolutely love this boot - it is lightweight, comfortable and warm (even in -30C weather.) I walk my children to school - 1.3 kms, or just over half a mile - each way, and my feet feel great and are still warm. My only problem is when the weather gets a little warmer - causing slushy conditions, there is a bit of water seepage by the zipper at the ankle. Otherwise, I have no concerns and would definitely get another pair.

Was very satisfied with this boot. It was true to size, comfortable from the start and warm. Well made, I plant to have these for a long time.

One boot was incredibly comfortable. However, the zipper on the other boot did not lay flat and rubbed my ankle bone raw when I wore it all day. If it had not been for this defect, I would have kept the boots.

These boots are just as pictured. They aren't incredibly bulky and seem to be very rugged. I seem to have a bit too much room though, even with ski socks on. Maybe I need to go down a half size. All around good buy though.

I love, love, love my new boots, the only problem is that since I bought them there isn't any snow. I love the boot and the fit, and the service from Zappos rocks. Jackie Z

I got these boots in anticipation of the rainy season here in northern California. I'm still waiting for rain, so I cannot attest to their water-repellent, but I have worn the boots a couple of times to keep my feet warm. They are lightweight and supportive and not at all clunky. I have a wide foot but these fit perfectly. The price was a bit of a stretch for me, as it might be for others during these hard times, but I expect these boots will last a long time. I recommend them highly.

I just wore these for two weeks straight up in Tahoe. They are great! I couldn't be happier. They are warm, comfortable, and kept my feet dry. I did a 5 mile hike in them one day over dirt, rock, and ice and was comfortable during and after. I'm ready to replace all my athletic shoes with Keens. Like other Keen shoes, they do run a little big. In a snow boot, that made room for my thick sock. I'm very pleased with these.

This is an awesome boot! They are easy to put on and take off. They are super warm and comfortable. They are stylish! This was a great purchase.

I have really loved the past 4.5 years out of my Keen sandals, and I'm excited about these boots. While walking outdoors today in a few inches of snow in blustery Western Massachusetts, every part of me was cold...except for my snug, happy feet. I plan on bringing these boots to the Swiss Alps for 3 months and have high hopes for them. I originally ordered a size 8 (my regular shoe size and also my size in Keen sandals) but returned them for a size 8.5. I recommend listening to other reviews encouraging you to go up half a size! I probably could have made the size 8 work, but my right foot felt especially tight (outer portion of the toe box), and when I removed the boots from just wearing them indoors while sitting on the couch and walking around the kitchen, I already had noticeable creases from where the boots had pinched my toes and slightly indented the skin. The 8 was tight with thin socks, but the 8.5 doesn't rub/cramp my feet at all, despite wearing super-thick socks.

Very nice fit. I was looking for something that was lightweight, flexible & feminine. Also, I did not want to deal with laces. Have not tried in the snowy conditions as of yet, but looking forward to it.

Love them. Warm, comfortable and lightweight. After reading other reviews I ordered 1/2 size up & they fit perfectly.
