I live in a mountain town and hike my dogs daily regardless of weather. These are my new winter boots and I love them! They are extremely warm & comfortable, like hiking in bedroom slippers. The traction seems best suited for fresh snow or packed trails and equally as great for snow shoeing. They may not be the best choice for navigating on ice -- parking lots, etc. I highly recommend them.

This is one amazing boot. I needed a pair of boots that could protect my ankles from snakes in the jungle. These were incredibly comfortable and supportive despite bad ankles and rough grounds. Not for warm places though; they're fur-lined. Now it's winter and I was thrilled to have them. I haven't have this kind of ankle support in years.

These boots have excellent support as my walk to work is 1/2 mile, they keep my feet warm but not sweaty. They appear very rugged but I haven't used them in snow yet. Great boots!

I love these boots but they hurt my ankles and rub until I get blisters. I have to wear heavy socks and band-aids over those areas so I don't get blisters. It might be my feet though. They do fit my feet perfectly. They are super warm (I live in Chicago), are sturdy boots, and have great arch support as well. I am giving them to my daughter though and looking for a different style this year.

My foot is 9.5 on the narrow side of medium. I tried boots from LL Bean and Lands End before I settled on these. I wear running shoes in a 10 and found that size 10 boot fit perfectly. The boot is very comfortable on foot, ankle and leg. Lightweight, too. I live in an area that doesn't get much snow so these boots won't get a lot of use -- therefore I can't comment on that.

Awesome! The best purchase i have ever made for my 'winter feet'! They are warm, and super easy to take on and off. Waterproofing is incredible. Was in a puddle up to my ankles, and had no idea!

Ordered these to replace 16-year-old Ecco walking snow boots. Couldn't find the Eccos anymore, so I tried these. I didn't even have to break them in. I put them on and wore them all; I forgot I had them on. They fill my needs perfectly: Warm and secure, lots of support -- including the must-have heel shock-absorber, and a good grip on the ground and sidewalks. The zipper's a wee bit harder to manage than the Ecco boots' Velcro, but then again, I have a cast on one of my hands. The Velcro accumulated lint, dog hair, mud, road salt, and anything else that reduced its hold. The Keen boots' zipper design keeps out the snow and wet very well. I'm hoping the zipper on the Keen boots holds out for 16 years, because it feels like the boots will.

After returning the first pair and ordering a full size larger, I was totally pleased with these boots. I went on a ski trip to Idaho and they worked great in both the snow and the cold which I was out in alot. I highly recommend them.

After living in central PA for a couple of years (and Boston for 6) without a really warm pair of boots, I decided it was time. I really like my Keen sandals, and these boots seemed to get great reviews. All I really needed was a pair to walk and be outside in; no hard-core all-day hiking or anything (though I suspect they would fare just fine with that as well). I wear a 7.5 usually (8 in running shoes), and my Keen sandals are size 7.5. Based on the comments from others, I thought I would need to order up a size, but finally just went ahead with the 7.5. I tried them and really liked them, but I could take them on and off without unzipping, and when I walked around, I felt like I was concentrating on keeping them on. They probably would have been okay with big thick heavy socks, but well, I don't own any. So I sent them back and got a 7. Perfect. They're not tight, but not super-loose like the 7.5 was. Nice and warm, and I love the lining inside.

I love this boot! I'll admit it looks a little space age, but who cares when you have to slosh around in Atlantic City's winter slush. It is the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. The shaft moves with you when you walk, it is lined and warm, waterproof with great tread. Much lighter weight than my duck boots. I ordered a half size bigger because that is what was available at the time, and it fit perfectly.

Love these boots. They are true to size and very snug fit. I wore them to work in 17 inches of snow and my feet stayed warm and dry! They are very comfortable to walk in for long periods and I have talked my sister and mom into ordering a pair also. Great arch support by the way too!

Best pair of snow boots I've ever had. Got them two years ago and they have kept my feet warm and dry.

I ordered the boot for my skiing trip. When I received the boot, it looked exactly like the photo. I liked it. I ordered size 6. And it fits me just right. And it's very comfortable. I don't even need to break it in for a few days. I wore it one day for the snowshoeing. It kept my feet dry and warm. I will recommend it. I give it a thumbs up.

I purchased these books to wear on a ski trip to Breckenridge, CO & they were perfect. I love them! They did run about 1/2 a size small (so go up 1/2 a size), but they are awesome & I would totally recommend them!

I orginially ordered my usual size but they were too tight. Returned them and ordered a half size up which is a very comfortable fit. Walked through snow for four miles and my feet felt great. Very happy with this boot.

I love this boot! It feels so comfortable, and warm. I think the sole will be great on ice. Can't wait to try it out when we get some more snow! I need to send this pair back, because I need a size 8 and Zappos only had an 8.5. I will try to find it somewhere. I have a pair of Keen sandals and slippers. They work well for me.

These boots are so cozy! I loved them in the snow and I wore them all day in the house as well. They kept my feet so warm and not hot and sweaty at all. I highly recommend them! I have a wide foot and I bought the regular width which fit me perfectly with a thin sock.

I love these boots. Moving to Alaska my challenge has been what to wear, these boots have provided me warmth and keep my feet dry. I love that these are easy to pull on and off. I highly recommend.

I love these boots! It's been years since I bought my last pair of winter boots, but they just weren't comfortable anymore. So, I was looking for a pair that would keep me safe, warm, dry and comfortable and for years to come. I think I found them! I usually wear a size 8-1/2 and I tend to buy wide shoes, but only because I need a little extra toe room. These boots (which I have in a size 9) give me the needed toe room, while still hugging my heals to prevent slippage. I also wear custom orthotics for plantar fascia, and these boots have removable footbeds to accommodate my orthotics. However, their footbed and the arch support feels very good on my feet. I also like the furry lining, as it's soft and warm, but not bulky and I think it will wear well. And, if you like the look of Keen shoes, in general, you'll probably love the looks of these on your feet!

This is that sturdy, will never wear out, soft top, trudge along in deep snow bottom, need them in New England boot. Yes, they are somewhat clunky but I feel very secure in them. Easy zip handy when running in and out to clean off the car 3 times a day. Never get wet, not too hot or cold. This is a "just right" boot. Order in your usual 'boot' size (a half size bigger than shoe size worked for me). Toe box generous and heel holds snug. Well made for its purpose which is decidedly not glamour. Zappos sent every Keen boot for me to try until I hit upon these. Free shipping made that possible. Yea for Zappos! Grateful me.

I would live in these boots if I could! They are extremely comfortable and very warm. They slip on easily when taking the kids to the bus or the dog for a walk. The best is that they're fashionable too - I get compliments on them almost every time I'm out in them. I wish I had a $1 for every time someone asked me where I got them. You won't go wrong getting these boots!

OTA college student, and I wanted something waterproof and warm for tromping across campus and then sitting in class. These showed up the day before "Snowmaggedon 3" and have been perfect for the deep snow. They aren't as fitted as my other boots; they remind me more of my Uggs that way. My husband calls them my Power Ranger boots. They are kind of endearingly ugly in that way.

Got these boots for a trip to VT. Hubby by accident recycled one of my old boots. Ordered 5 different pairs. These were most comfortable and warm. Feet stayed warm and dry through tubing and sledding! Ordered half a size up from normal. Medium socks fit well. So happy with these boots!
