Very warm and cozy boots. There is a zipper on the side and a little fabric hook on the front and back to make them easy to pull on.

These are Rugged and Warm!! They're kind of cute too.

These boots were not as warm as I had hoped. My feet started to freeze after about ten minutes waiting at the bus stop in 17 degree weather. They are comfortable. They style is ok. The front of the boot looks too big on my small feet.

Really wanted to love these boots. Was unsure about the color when I ordered but liked them when they arrived. Usually wear a 9.5 and only had 10 available so got them. Too big and had to return them. They had the blue color in a 9.5 so I exchanged for them and even though they fit me in the foot, they dug in around my ankles so am returning again. Wanted to be able to break them in and soften them up, but they were just too painful to even give that a shot.

I was looking for a good waterproof winter boot to walk in snowdrifts and to wait at the bus stop in NJ (wind chills down to 11 F). I've always bought boots at Walmart, but everyone was out. After reading the reviews I bought a 9. Tight fit even with my narrow feet. The insoles were really comfy though. Replaced their inserts w/ Dr. Scholls. Still a little snug, but tried it out. By day 5 the boot loosened up. Wore it in Maine and felt no cold. Warm up to the boot tops. Wished I could find gloves and a coat that would work as well.

Comfy boot. I find it warm, for the most part. However, I suffer from poor circulation to my feet - and on very cold days my toes still get cold. I will say that I also have large calves and this boot zippers around my calves easily.

I purchased these boots for the severe winter in Belarus, where I am now until June. I am in a smallish town and the ice and slush abound. They have been wonderful--perfectly insulated, easy to walk in the snow in, and not even that unstylish. However, I have found that I slip in the ice, which is a disappointment because I had expected them to be okay. I would still buy them, however, because I can't imagine any other pair being alright on icy streets. In terms of size, my regular size did fit me but a half size larger was much more comfortable.

Wanted a warm, low boot with a big lug sole for walking on snow piles and icy patches. These boots have been great this season. They're easier to zip up than the tall Keen boots which I tried last fall and had to return. There is plenty of room for wearing thick wool socks.

After trying 11 boots, this was the most comfortable, particularly over an arthritic lg. toe joint. Very warm. Only wore them 4 days in snow but they appear waterproof. My only complaint was poor traction on icy areas.

These are great boots. They are warm and very cool looking. The molded foot bed adds really good stability, especially when walking in snow. They are a bit wide though. And for me, they lack adequate arch support. I can't wear them more than two days in a row. If Keen made them with a snugger fit around the ankle they would be perfect.

I normally buy shoes in 10, but have crazy long toes and should probably buy 10.5, which is what I did with these. Even with the 10.5, they were a bit snug in the toe with a slightly thicker sock, but completely, crazy-loose in the heel. The lining is super soft and slick which made my heel go up and down even more. When standing still, the shoe's arch felt awesome, but the shoe simply didn't fit my heel at all and even if I could have fixed that with inserts, I was afraid the toe was tight enough that it would make my feet cold if I was outside in the snow for long. I ended up keeping a pair of Sorel Waterfalls in 10.5 which are a bit too big, but feel nice with thick socks or inserts. The color was also more rust than red and less vibrant than in the picture. They are nice boots.

Based on the reviews of others, I sized up by half a size but still my toe hit the end of the boot. So, back they go.

I'm sure these would be very warm and dry, but they are very tight across the instep and difficult to get on and off, even with the zipper.

Great snow boot. It was a bit too much for what I need. Feels a bit like a "moonboot."

Once again Zappos you out did yourself! I ordered these boots at 4pm on a Wednesday and had them in less than 24 hours. That's pretty impressive. I didn't rate this boot 5 stars for only one reason...I really struggle to get my heel into the boot! It seems excessively narrow. But once they are one my feet they are very comfortable and warm. They are not stiff and feel more like a sneaker to me. The style is nice, but a little masculine looking - could be better. More color choices would be nice too. Other than these small issues, great boot!

This boot is great, the only issue I have is that the zipper can chafe a bit from time to time. I've found wearing decently thick socks works well to avoid this problem.

This boot is really comfortable and lightweight. I plan to use it as my winter dogwalking boot. It's unobtrusive, which is good since it's not much on looks, but hey, it's a snowboot, so what do you expect. The only issue was that it seemed to run small. I usually wear an 8, but the 8½ was snug on my foot.

Well, These definitely keep my feet warm and water out, but.... the shaft of the boot bends on the outside, right at the ankle bone, and rubs very annoyingly. I have tried thicker socks, but it does not really help. REALLY BUGS... too bad, otherwise a very nice boot. Not too heavy, and the lining is very nice.

Great lugged sole and fit (arch support, snug heel), but the design is a bit too sci-fi for me.

The Betty boot is a little loose. The space between my ankle and the boot is quite roomy but since I love its sturdiness and the awesome lugs, I may keep it and wear it with thick boots. I didn't expect the girth because I have wider feet and calves, so this is a surprise. In terms of length - very true to my size 7 feet.

Mostly comfortable boots. I have a high instep and these could become a little tight depending on the socks I wore. These boots did get me through a Chicago winter with warm feet and minimal slipping on sidewalks.

Found the boot after searching high and low on the Internet. I missed out on color selection, but didn’t want to miss out buying my own size. Pleased with the price and fit. Sizing was pretty accurate; I wear 9 riding boots. However, don’t wear heavy socks. I have the Keen water sandals so figured the snow boot would be of the same quality. As for arch support - better than most.

Love the boots, but they are loose on the heel area so I wear tall thick socks. The plus side is that you don’t have to unzip them when you put them on, you can just slip them on and tuck your pants in there, too.

I love Keen shoes, in general, and I loved the way this boot looks. It fit good on my calves, though I was disappointed with the lack of arch support. I usually wear a 6-6.5 and bought a 6.5 boot. They were out of 7 in the color I preferred. I haven’t decided whether to keep them or not, as I think a 7 may be a bit better. The toe box is not as big as the other Keen shoes I own. Overall, a good boot.

I bought these shoes mainly for walking the dog in what is proving to be a rough winter and they are perfect for that purpose. They are also very good for shoveling, playing in the yard, and walking around icy parking lots. They are great in snow, slush, mud and even ice. I was able to walk my large dog on an icy road without falling thanks to the lug soles. The main drawback of these shoes is that the leg is rather wide. I have athletic but not large calves and the looseness of the boot makes them rub a little on my leg. Also, my heel lifts up a little, again probably due to the width of the leg area. It causes socks to get pulled down into the boot. However, you can easily wear these without socks since the fleece lining and -32 insulation keep your feet toasty during the above activities. They would NOT be a good hiking boot. I wear a 9 1/2 and they don't make my feet look as big as I thought they would. They are pretty attractive for what is meant to be a utilitarian boot.
