I bought a new pair for my wife, her old pair must be 12 years old, maybe more. I bought the black leather strap model, it looks great on her feet, fits perfect, and she loves this sandal. Thanks for making me and my wife happy.

I'm a true size 7. Got a 37 (6-6.5) based on reviews and I'm happy I did! They fit perfect! So these run large. I would say if your a 7.5 get a 38 because these fit like a glove on me. Haven't worn them a full day yet, but they seem comfortable after a short walk. With was perfect for my average feet (got regular width) No complaints. Now I want more colors and styles

These sandals are so wonderful because of all the comfort they provide. I want to buy more Birkenstock sandals because they just make great products. But please note you may need to go a full size down. I'm a 7 but I had to order a 37 38's are too big.

Best Birks ever! I ordered these in a 40 first and wear a 9 but have a wide foot. The 39 is perfect. It has unique soft looking leather and conforms to your foot fast. I wear these around the house because they are so comfortable and feel better than bare feet. Order them! They are amaze face.

These are the first Birkenstocks I've ever had. Wanted some for years, just didn't get around to it. Put them on, worn them ever since as I'm in SoCal and you can. They are an absolute dream!! Love them!!

This is my 2nd pair of Birkenstocks and they are well worth the price, especially as a walker. They're also great because I have high arches and these fit wonderfully.

had hoped to purchase another pair of Arizona Birkenstocks in white but I guess they don't make white anymore. The Gizeh looked interesting but I didn't want white patent so I ordered the red oiled leather. I love these shoes! I've been wearing them for two days. The color appears neutral and can be worn with more than just red. The Birkenstock button on the thong is classic and adds so much to the look. I wear a 40 but in Birkenstock I always get a 39. Perfect fit!

So comfortable. I have three pair. I ordered the size for 8-8.5 even though I am a 9N and it fits great. I could walk forever. And they look good!

I love, love, love these shoes! I have had one pair that I have worn for the last three summers, and I am now replacing them with the same exact thong. I have lower back issues, as well as foot joint issues, and these have done me well. They have excellent support, stylish enough to wear with cute sundresses and skirts, and durable. I can't say enough about how much I love these shoes.

I just wanted to say that these sandals are comfortable and goes with anything; it can be worn with shorts or a nice maxi dress these sandals are very versatile. I plan on purchasing another pair in the near future. Plus it has good arch support unlike other thong sandals; I don't have to worry about getting flat feet.

I just ordered a pair in grass green and I LOVE them!! So cute. The plastic thing between the toes feels uncomfortable at first, but I just took a short 1/2 mile walk in these and I noticed the sensation is already starting to go away. The plastic is not rock hard, it's like the flexible piece that's on many flip flops. If you have never worn birks before, they take some getting used to.

My favorite shoe! This is my second pair of the Gizeh style and I love them! I have little to no arch as well as bunion issues and these shoes feel so comfortable. I wear them all day long! Zappos way to go with your exceptional delivery and customer service!

I have such high arches that almost all shoes begin to make my feet hurt due to the lack of arch support. Last summer I backpacked Europe and wore these shoes every single day for over a month. My feet never hurt (aside from the blister I got on the bottom of my foot while breaking them in) and the shoe conformed to my arch wonderfully. I highly recommend Birkenstocks to anyone with high arches. Keep in mind that Birkenstocks tend to run a bit large when ordering - I am a true 11 but I always purchase a 10.5 from Birkenstock.

LOVE THESE! These are the BEST sandals. I have very high arches and am a very active person (I love to walk, ride my bike) and I don't like when uncomfortable shoes get in my way. These are FANTASTIC. They take a little to break in (2 weeks or so of a little walking every day), but once they're broken in, they fit like a glove. The sole starts out very hard and stiff but don't give up on them!-they become super soft and supportive after some wear. The sole molds to your foot, so they're extra comfortable. Also, I think Gizeh is the most flattering Birkenstock model for a wide foot. Also check out Papillio-Birkenstocks. They make the tops in funky/fun patterns.

LOVE THEM! Love these! Comfortable; took me about a few days to break in, but love them to death! Looks good with everything! I usually wear a woman’s 7, but heard Birks ran a lil big, so took the chance and got a 6 1/2, and fits like a glove!

Fantastic Sandal - I'm very happy with this purchase. Was looking for a comfortable sandal that could withstand a lot of walking, but stylish enough to see me through various environments. Perfect for travel, and the black patent makes them not too crunchy granola.

Cute and versatile - I bought these in black patent and they look great with modern outfits in the summer. They are not comfortable like slippers or flip flops, but more of a sturdy and healthy alternative. They definitely perform like a Birk for arch support and exercise and your feet/legs will need to get used to them. Birks run big, so I am a true 6.5 and wear a 36 in Birks for the perfect fit. The regular width Birk is a wide in American sizing.

I LOVE THESE SHOES - I was a little worried about the toe piece, because I don't usually wear thong sandals, but after wearing them for a couple of days, I didn't even notice it anymore. These are literally the only shoes I've worn since I bought them. I got the silver non-leather ones, so they can be dressy or casual. Not only are they comfortable no matter how much I walk in them (most important), but they are so stylish I've even worn them out at night- dancing! (That was kind of an unexpected twist to the evening, but they let me in with these!) Also perfect for travel- I've been in Spain recently and everyone was wearing them. And I couldn't be more impressed with Zappos service. I ordered these on a Saturday evening and had them on Monday morning!

Birkenstock Gizeh - The Birkenstock Gizeh is by far the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. Sizing is the key: the plastic piece won't rub in between your toes if you wear the proper size. In Dansko I wear a size 37, but I bought a size 36 narrow in this shoe and they fit wonderfully! The silver is pretty and unique!

I usually wear an 8 1/2, or a 9. The 39 reg. fit perfect. I am really happy with this purchase. I would buy them again in another color. Took 3-4 days to truly break in and now they are so comfortable. I do not want to wear anything else. They were also cheaper, as far as shipping, and tax than everywhere else online.

fabulous! These are fabulous! In the patent colors they look super hip and I get compliments on them all the time. i just got back from the south of France, and they are everywhere there too! Also, I have a high arch and these give me great support. I can walk forever in them.

Great sandal - This is a great sandal. It took me a few days of wearing them around the house to get used to the thong between my toes. I found that tightening the strap really helped. It is much more feminine looking than many Birks.

Birkenstock Gizeh - These were comfortable right out of the box. I'd already been wearing thong slippers so the plastic toe-piece did not bother me. Being able to adjust for my unequal instep heights is a big plus.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - Back in the 80's my chiropractor recommended Birkenstocks bec. my back had gone out and I couldn't wear heals anymore. I've been wearing them every since. I adore Birkenstocks. Where I live now I cannot find the style or the shoe, y so I use Zappos.com bec. their service is astounding in today’s don't care attitude businesses. I received these shoes in record time. It's a breeze ordering them. These are spendy shoes. I prefer the leather yet the manmade uppers on them work just fine. I saved about 30 bucks with the manmade. So I'm thrilled to have them, enjoy wearing them and with summer here they are perfect for my job at the library. I can only say good things about Birkenstocks and Zappos.com. The service and this product are superb!!! C: PS. Even when I lived in Alaska, Zappos.com delivered there too. Many companies do not. Zappos.com is an online store I recommend to all my friends. I don't know anyone there personally, but I'd like too. The Perfect Smart Casual Sandal - My husband bought the Gizeh in silver for me and I have had them about a month now. They are a terrific stylish, yet comfortable sandal. I am a bit lazy and I like a shoe that I can just slip on and head out the door with. I had started to fall into the bad habit of schlepping out in my hideous Crocs because they were quick to put on and comfortable. I am happy to say that the Gizeh’s serve the same function & comfort level while looking nice as well. I have received compliments from strangers about these sandals. The only thing I would mention to those considering purchasing these, is that if your second toe is longer than your big toe (like mine), the toe strap ends up covering part of your big toe and it looks a bit odd. Also, thong sandals sometimes really hurt, but I broke these in by wearing them around the house for a few hours a day for about 2 weeks. These sandals provide wonderful arch support and I have spent the day downtown walking for 7 hours in them with no discomfort whatsoever.
